Food was good. Waiter was pleasant. However, staff not very friendly for people in wheelchairs. I was struggling getting the door open while I was pulling my mother's wheelchair. I moved a single chair staged at the narrow door, so we could get thru. The hostess rushed up to move the chair back.... Not to assist or even open the other outer door. The other workers -three people, one appearing to be a supervisor, just stood there and watched. Customer service is terrible. I met some friends here for lunch. Each of us ordered a lunch meal. We had to wait several minutes and had to ask for our waitress to come back so we could order. There was someone else filling our glasses who wasn't our waitress (which was unusual). She was super nice. Never once when our meals came out did our waitress or anyone ask if everything was ok. The only contact we had with our waitress after we received our food was for us to pay. We had finished and paid (tickets brought out before we were done). After we were done we were chatting and catching up. The waitress came over and asked us to leave because people were waiting to be seated (this was almost 130pm on a Saturday). We got up to leave and as we left, there was as no one waiting to be seated. Not inside or outside. Considering there are other locations or places to eat, I will not be back. read more

Went to this restaurant for a quick dinner before a movie. It's very spacious and did not have to wait for long even though it was a friday night. Like every restaurant, they gave hot nachos with salsa. We ordered their mexican pizza and order of mexican rice. Pizza tasted wonderful and it was not too oily. My family has enjoyed Mi Ranchito for many years. However the Valpak has not been including a coupon for espinaca during the last 2 years. I do not feel the small portion of watered down espinaca is worth the charged $5.99. The coupon Valpak continues to have a coupon to Jose Peppers and Cactus Grill, so we will be trying those locations for a bit. read more

So would like to say I am very disappointed with this restaurant. First I had decided that I did not like where we were seated so I asked for another booth. I wish I could remember my waitress's name, I've had her both times I've been here, and she's been fabulous!!! The food is good, the meals were excellent, and I had so much I got two delicious meals for the price of one!!! The margaritas are HUGE, strong, and delicious! Both the house, and skinny leave you craving more!! Parking is a little tricky, at least the first time. They have parking in the front (119th facing) and a door, and a large parking lot in the back, and another door and little bar! OMG, We went to this place for Cinco De Mayo and boy was it yummy. The salsa was to die for (very flavorful). Listen closely: MACHACA BEEF. Oh my goodness it is SO YUMMY. This place was CROWDED on a recent rainy Saturday night about 9 pm, but they got us in at a table by the kitchen. It's kind of loud, especially when it is packed, but we got service immediately and consistently throughout our meal. The manager/owner was a little lingering to a point of being a bit uncomfortable, but at least he shows pride in what he does and displays that in his attention to the customers. I didn't know what to try, so decided to a combo (#5, I think) that had a tostada, cheese enchilada and a Machaca Beef chimichanga. Well, you can keep the rest, and give me more of that chimichanga! The beef was so tender and flavorful, I could eat a mountain of it. Mom had shrimp and steak of some arrangement, it was not impressive. The last 5 or 6 times I've been there I've noticed how dirty it is; filthy windows and blinds next to booths, booths not cleaned properly, the floor doesn't look clean in areas. The restaurant filled quickly though and with it being cold, everyone waiting for tables was stuffed in the little lobby. We had a nice meal for two for $42 including tax not tip. They give you free chips and salsa but we also ordered the cheesy espinasa dip and two blended margaritas. My sister had the steak fajitas.
