This place is a great! We have been looking for tacos de lengua for a while but haven't had much luck. We finally found a place that had it so we decided to check it out! Mi Rancho is located in Little Havana with ample parking in the back. They offer a large variety of Mexican food, including gorditas (which is one of my favorites)! I ordered the gorditas, one of each meat choice and my husband ordered the tacos the lengua. The food was great! The gorditas were loaded with meat and cheese! The tacos were also really good! We ordered flan to share and it was also really sweet and decadent! They had great prices and their dishes were loaded, you will not leave hungry! So I asked my Mexican coworker for the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Miami, he didn't hesitate and said Mi Rancho. It's always a good endorsement when a native recommends your establishment. The food is really tasty, perfectly seasoned for my tastebuds. Their tacos are ok, not great. Keep in mind that this is a restaurant, not a taqueria. I get my tacos from Jacalito's, but I like the dishes at Mi Rancho. The staff is always courteous, and the establishment is always clean. They have a jukebox, and a couple of TVs throughout the place. There's plenty of parking as well, I recommend it to everyone I know. read more

Coming from So cal where we have options of Mexican food close to authentic have spoiled my tastebuds. I will try Mexican food anywhere because it's my weakness and a HUGE disappointment when the restaurant fails to deliver on flavor. I ordered through grubhub and read the reviews so took a chance. I didn't think about those reviews being from the local folks that have a different taste experience with their Mexican food. I purchased a chili rellano (they called it that) My chili rellano I get from home are always BREADED stuffed and fried theirs wasn't just an uncooked raw tough chili not even slightly roasted or boiled. The chili rellano I received was stuffed with something I wasn't sure of perhaps cream cheese with a white sauce and topped with unmelted maybe Monterey jack cheese. I also ordered shredded beef burrito which was stuffed with maybe a cross between ground beef and a coarse ground meat it definitely wasn't shredded beef with tons of SALTY refried beans which the extra beans i ordered I thought were going on the side not in the burrito which already had beans inside however, it was so disappointing I trashed it before I took a pix of that whatever they sold me. I can't comment on the ambiance as I order delivery but HOPEFULLY the ambiance looks better than the food tasted. read more

Standard Mexican spot. Typical food, seating area, pricing, etc. The main reason I am giving this place a four is because of the service. Now don't get me wrong, I love Mexican food. So when I say the food was standard that is not necessarily bad. What I mean is it was nothing special, I had a craving for Mexican and it hit the spot because it was just that. I will say they charged almost $3 just for pico de gallo on the side, which is a bit much but I did really like the addition of jalapenos. Also every order also comes with a small bag of chips. The establishment is located on a one way street in a strip mall. With me not knowing this and the GPS sending me to the back of the building, it was really a hassle to find. I walked around for like 5 minutes and eventually decided to call the restaurant and let them know I couldn't find them. The phone call took well over 5 minutes. I was frustrated and annoyed having to walk around aimlessly in the welcoming environment that is Little Havana. The girl stayed on the phone with me and did not react to my frustrated tone. Honestly she should have dropped the phone on me after a few minutes, it was not her fault I got lost nor her responsibility to help me find the place. I appreciate the patience. Thank you coach. After a grueling lesson in the arts of ji jitsu. I asked my coach what should I eat and anywhere he would suggest. He pointed me in the direction of el rancho.on 22 West flagler st. However due to the recent restaurant guidelines and seeing that I just finished training I ordered it uber and ordered a glass of my favorite merlot through liquorsplit. And the order arrived I can already smell my order through the package. My meal wasn't disappointed. And I followed it up with a homemade passion fruit juice from there as well. The menu selection isn't huge but it ain't small. Can't really give a 5 star until I sit down in the establishment. Cool little gem if you're looking for a quick Mexican munch . They start you of with chips and cheesy refried beans. They also bring you two salas dipping sauces if you don't want refried beans. I had the Mi Rancho platter especial . Basically the same platter the way it comes but all meat copped up with mixed jalapeños and corn tortillas. Ask for the mole sauce on the side. It has a great chocolate taste to it. Great for dipping or lathering your personal tacos! When finished ask for Cuban coffee wash it all down! I was honestly really excited to try this place out because I had seen a lot of good reviews. I ordered off of grubhub. The food got here at a reasonable time but it was already cold and soggy I ordered the steak quesadillas. A side of chips and salsa and a side of refried beans and chips. The quesadillas looks anemic and not appealing at all. The quesadillas barely had any cheese and the cheese that it did have wasn't even melted. Now the quesadillas are supposed to come with a side of guacamole, sour cream and pico. The guacamole was maybe a nickel sized amount. Not even two ounces of quac. The pico was extremely watery and chunky it looked like it could go on a salad not something you dip into. The most hilarious part of the order was the little containers of salsa they gave me. Not only was the salsa small but it tasted like spicy water. No flavor at all it was extremely bland. The refried beans were bland as well it tasted like cardboard. speaking of cardboard the chips were disgustingly stale they tasted like they were made days ago. Not even any salt on them. Don't order from them go into the store and maybe you can get the food how it's supposed to be. *PSA* a few hours after posting the review the owner sent me a message. Not apologizing or asking if I wanted a refund. But instead calling me cheap and tell me some stuff about how Jesus is going to get back at me. Amazing-ly great! I had questions about the food and the lady that answered was really nice. I frequently order out for my job and I've recently had problems with other restaurants not understanding me, not finding my address, or messing up my order(s). The food came to my job quickly and it tasted amazing. The tacos bring ample meat in them and the guac is to die for. Bought a taco salad and it didn't bring as much lettuce as I thought but it had hella chicken =} They have online ordering which makes things easy when I'm at work and can't call in so bonus points for that. Chips and salsa were up to par and I did appreciate that they also bring out a complimentary bowl of refried beans for the chips, BUT, the beans were completely under seasoned. This is one of my favorite taco places. I ordered once from Grub Hub after a long work day with the yearn for cheap, yummy tacos. I get scared to order out from places I've never been to, but gave it a try. Once I was able to sit down at home and eat them. They were so delicious. So filling!!! I got 3 tacos for less than $7!!!! In Miami that's 1 taco in Brickell lol. I was so impressed by the taste that I've gone back at least ten times so far. Has never disappointed so far. I've tried their horchata and I'm SUPER picky about that as well. It's one of the best ones I've ever had. They also have a pretty good tiramisu. So far I honestly have yet to be disappointed. Little Havana has such a embarrassment of riches when it comes to taco places. I'm trying to sample all of them :) I ordered pick up from here and really enjoyed the rice and chicken tacos. The rice was super flavorful and the taco itself was stacked with tons of really juicy chicken. The al pastor tacos were good but not great, the meat was a bit more rubbery than I like. The mole that came on the side was really really good. The green sauce they gave me was tasty.
