    Orden de Chips con Frijoles

This place is a great! We have been looking for tacos de lengua for a while but haven't had much luck. We finally found a place that had it so we decided to check it out! Mi Rancho is located in Little Havana with ample parking in the back. They offer a large variety of Mexican food, including gorditas (which is one of my favorites)! I ordered the gorditas, one of each meat choice and my husband ordered the tacos the lengua. The food was great! The gorditas were loaded with meat and cheese! The tacos were also really good! We ordered flan to share and it was also really sweet and decadent! They had great prices and their dishes were loaded, you will not leave hungry! I highly recommend this place if you're craving Mexican food, you won't be disappointed!

So I asked my Mexican coworker for the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Miami, he didn't hesitate and said Mi Rancho. It's always a good endorsement when a native recommends your establishment. The food is really tasty, perfectly seasoned for my tastebuds. Their tacos are ok, not great. Keep in mind that this is a restaurant, not a taqueria. I get my tacos from Jacalito's, but I like the dishes at Mi Rancho. The staff is always courteous, and the establishment is always clean. They have a jukebox, and a couple of TVs throughout the place. There's plenty of parking as well, I recommend it to everyone I know.

Coming from So cal where we have options of Mexican food close to authentic have spoiled my tastebuds. I will try Mexican food anywhere because it's my weakness and a HUGE disappointment when the restaurant fails to deliver on flavor. I ordered through grubhub and read the reviews so took a chance. I didn't think about those reviews being from the local folks that have a different taste experience with their Mexican food. I purchased a chili rellano (they called it that) My chili rellano I get from home are always BREADED stuffed and fried theirs wasn't just an uncooked raw tough chili not even slightly roasted or boiled. The chili rellano I received was stuffed with something I wasn't sure of perhaps cream cheese with a white sauce and topped with unmelted maybe Monterey jack cheese. I also ordered shredded beef burrito which was stuffed with maybe a cross between ground beef and a coarse ground meat it definitely wasn't shredded beef with tons of SALTY refried beans which the extra beans i ordered I thought were going on the side not in the burrito which already had beans inside however, it was so disappointing I trashed it before I took a pix of that whatever they sold me. I can't comment on the ambiance as I order delivery but HOPEFULLY the ambiance looks better than the food tasted.

Authentic Mexican. Delicious, well flavored. The beef nachos were fully loaded and well seasoned. Prices are very reasonable. High quality ingredients and great service. Our go to no frills local Mexican spot!

Thank you coach. After a grueling lesson in the arts of ji jitsu. I asked my coach what should I eat and anywhere he would suggest. He pointed me in the direction of el rancho.on 22 West flagler st. However due to the recent restaurant guidelines and seeing that I just finished training I ordered it uber and ordered a glass of my favorite merlot through liquorsplit. And the order arrived I can already smell my order through the package. My meal wasn't disappointed. And I followed it up with a homemade passion fruit juice from there as well. The menu selection isn't huge but it ain't small. Can't really give a 5 star until I sit down in the establishment. So if I ever have time to go have a wonderful evening over a glass of wine and conversation. I'll be hitting this place up. Once again this is Sifu the foodie ninja. And thank you for thanking this journey with me

I had the munchies and was looking to eat a little taco but waitress convinced me try the steak quesadillas!!!! It was sooo good. Unlike many places the skimp on the steak... this place fill the quesadillas with steak and doesn't overwhelm It with cheese either. There is plenty of Parking behind the building. And the place and it was less than $10. Definitely check the place out!

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

Mauricio was at the bar and we definitely missed being under his attention by not sitting there. Eliezer (the Venezuelan waiter from Mérida) took care of us in the dining room. Both are always very friendly and attentive. This time we decided to sit in the dining room because we were a group of three and had a lot to talk about. The place has 4 TVs and we were able to enjoy the France vs Spain match. We all ordered La Tropical Draft beer, a light, smooth, and very refreshing blonde. In total we had 16 beers . We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. So I ended up paying $17.82 for a terrible quesadilla and experience. I really liked the horchata matcha though (hence the 2 stars).

Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

Exantus constantly made sure our table was cleared of empty plates and glasses, and he kept the table dry by wiping away the condensation from our drinks. The server was phenomenal, and the food tasted great, though portions run a little small for the price. Naming aside, both dishes were delicious. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff sang for her and brought out a complimentary dessert--hands down the best brownie dessert I've ever had. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!

So I've been ordering food from uptown 66 for 5 years. I live a few blocks away and it was our…read morefavorite place to grab a quick bite or late night meal. Ever since I tried their steak Caesar salad I've been obsessed. That was my usual from there for 5 years. 2 nights ago we ordered from uptown and when we got our order I was so angry I didn't want to even eat my food. 1. Steak literally looked like wet dog food 2. They no longer do the frisée salad instead It's just plain old Romaine lettuce 3. For some reason they stopped giving their salsa now which was the highlight of my order 4. The container is so small and the egg was so hot that it melted all the Parmesan cheese and it was just a nasty glob 5. The eggs were so over boiled that they had that grey tint on the yolk and smelled horrible 6. 2 salads cost almost $50 so jokes on us Never again!!! I've literally banned uptown from our house. The audacity to charge so much for a mid salad topped with nasty dog food looking "steak"
