I was suspicious of the all 5 star reviews but now I see why! We are vacationing in KY and this spot was halfway to our rental when we stopped for lunch. We have an older infant and a preschooler- ended up getting the buffet- how wonderful! Food was hot and fresh, absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. What a great hidden gem!!! read more

Only 1.5 mile from I-71 a quick stop with really good food for nice price. The food got to the table fast. A lunch chicken burrito was only $7.69 and a had distinct taste from other Mex restaurants. The staff could at least smile, but that's ok. I'm here to eat not chat. read more

I am here for an event and used Yelp to find a place to eat. My boyfriend and I love Mexican and came upon this restaurant that had a lot of good reviews. Well, all the reviews were correct! Great food and amazing service. We had our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. There was a gentleman who came by and picked up our extra plates and things and checked on us along with our waiter. The family was staying at General Butler State Park, so we decided to get take out from here one evening for dinner. I'm glad we did! I got the Coyote Burrito. A burrito stuffed with chicken, steak, and shrimp and smothered in queso. I'm used to a burrito getting filled with mostly other stuff and having some meat in it. This was just the meat. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant we have eaten at in 20 years. Chips and salsa were excellent and the incredible servers kept them flowing! The Fajitas were amazing with excellent flavors in the meats and the tortillas were freshly made and the quacamole was also fresh and fabulous tasting! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. I live in Frankfort. Ky and I go to Mi Viejo at least once a month. It's the only Mexican restaurant I will eat at. Not only do they have awesome Mexican food they have great Steaks as well. The staff there are all so nice and polite. The waiters are knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant to any and every one who is good for a good meal and great atmosphere. read more

This place is the best restaurant in Carrollton. I go there once or twice a week for pollo loco or the buffet. The buffet alone is well worth it, same wonderful food and you can try other menu items. Great family atmosphere. read more

¡¡Me encanta!! We stumbled into this amazing gem. We stopped in Carrollton after a long day of driving and didn't want fast food. We found this place and ate SO much we nearly had to crawl out!! The menu was SO extensive it was really hard to choose what to eat! The fajitas and burrito both came with a trio of meats: steak, chicken and shrimp!! And a wonderfully balanced portion of each...it was just delicious. The salsa tasted super fresh and had a great flavor. The queso was nearly perfect and the bean dip was out of this world!! Chips tasted freshly made, too! Overall, a wonderfully happy find that we're trying to find a reason to travel back for!! You won't be disappointed!! read more

We have only been here once. The service was great they were very fast and friendly. The place was really slow the night we came in. We got chips and salsa on the table when we sat down.
