    Brisket tacos

I came to Texas looking for Tex-Mex and Mia's did not disappoint. If you don't get anything else here you have got to try their brisket tacos! The service was excellent, he was very friendly and gave great recommendations in the menu. The salsa was home made and I wish I could've taken a jar home with me! I had one of the dinner specials and the chicken enchilada was really good! I also recommend the frozen mango margarita with tajin rim. Overall a great dining experience!

Great location off Lemmon Ave. the service was fast friendly and super polite. The food was hot and fresh and was a large portion. The prices were reasonable and they do have to go containers. I would recommend this location

I enjoyed my time at Mia's. The staff were very friendly starting at the valet and containing with our host and waitress. The ambiance inside is reminiscent of many classical tex-mex restaurants. We started off with a margarita along with queso and the complimentary chips and salsa. We then split the combo fajitas. Everything we had was good but I don't remember any of it being stand out. I appreciated the quick service, seating ability, and solid food at a reasonable price. Although I have had better fajitas/queso, Mia's is a great option for a casual Tex-Mex option and I would come back.

The place is very casual and homey. Feels like you're in the comfort of your family's house. Cute signs all over the place paying homage to the loved ones that the restaurant is dedicated to. Service was great and very fast! I had the half order of nachos with beef fajita meat. The portion size was good! The food was just okay. Felt like it lacked flavor overall and I found a hair in my food at the very end. It wasn't bad but it probably isn't a place I'd jump to return to.

It's tasty! I was busy eating so I didn't get a lot of pictures. You walk in and it's first come first serve. We had a party of 7 and waited about 20 minutes the place was hopping. We were sat and ordered Margaritas (Duh!) The frozen had some floater and was tasty and yummy. We enjoyed. We ordered guacamole, it was creamy, fresh, and tasty. They give you chips and salsa which the group thought was a little spicy so like an above medium. I ordered fish tacos that came with veggies and rice and beans. The fish was chopped up and a little dry but the veggies were flavorful and seasoned. It's a good spot, fun vibe, and tasty!

I was told this is where you go to get the best brisket tacos in DFW and I have to say, Mia's did not disappoint. One warning is they do not have regular parking only valet parking. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly. It is clean and has a great atmosphere. Of course I ordered the brisket tacos and they are definitely the best brisket tacos I've had. The gravy that it's served with is absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.

Two beef enchiladas + one ground beef taco with rice

Mia's Tex-Mex -- Flavor. Vibes. Perfection. Let me just say... Mia's never misses! From the moment I walked in, the place had that lively Tex-Mex energy ... warm, welcoming, and full of that "you're about to eat good" feeling. I kicked things off with the Half-Order Beef Nachos (no beans) :crisp, cheesy, and layered just right. Add sour cream and jalapeños on the side, and you've got the perfect start. Then came the main event :the Combination #3 (because one version just isn't enough): Plate 1: Two beef enchiladas + one ground beef taco with rice Plate 2: Two beef soft tacos + one sunset beef enchilada with rice Every bite was packed with flavor & seasoned perfectly, hearty, and made with that authentic Dallas Tex-Mex love. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly ....major plus! Overall: Mia's is that spot for anyone who loves great food, good people, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. Whether you're a local regular or just passing through go ahead and treat yourself. You'll thank me later. #TexMexHeaven #DallasEats #YelpEliteVibes #FoodieApproved

Came for dinner on a Tuesday to try their famous chile relleno. It was okay but was kind of disappointed. This was my first time having a chile relleno that out raisins and nuts inside which threw me off and I did not like this flavor. I usually love chile relleno but this one was not good to me.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this place. It was so bright and lively. I got the brisket tacos which were recommended to me by 3 different people. They were very delicious! Our server was very attentive!

Saturday evening, even with reservations we waited for 1 1/5 to be seated. That's was kinda annoying. Tight quarters with no where to wait. We had to stand the whole time with a baby. The service made up for it though....i guess The food came out hot and only 20 mins or so wait time. The brisket tacos where good but not all the hype 7/10 The beans were awful....burnt flavor 0/10 If we go back hopefully it will be a better experience.

I am updating my experience. I go here atleast once a month and generally have no issues. One time they gave me the wrong ticket, but fixed it. The other day however was not a good experience. My meal was 21.60 and I left a cash tip on table. A few days later I noticed I was charged almost 36.00. The waitress had put an almost 15.00 tip onto my card trying to be sneaky. In this area there are some wealthier people being by Highland Park and so she may had been getting away with it, but I check my statements. I usually have the same waiter so next time I'll ask for him and if I see the waitress I'll definitely let her know it's not ok to steal from people. Check your statements if you don't want to be stolen from. I did reach out to the manager and they reimbursed me. The attached picture is from another experience.

Always great food. Have been eating at Mia's for years. Menu is full of great options. Have always done the sour cream chicken enchiladas. Today I did the enchilada with a brisket taco. Great. Appetizer was the stuffed jalapeños. Also another favorite is the cheese enchiladas. Something for everyone.

My favorite cute little Tex-Mex spot! There is always a wait here so I like to come at odd hours- early dinner time/late lunch. Service is super quick once you order. They have modelo on draft. The enchiladas are amazing. I get the combo sour cream chicken enchilada and brisket taco. You MUST try the Brisket Tacos here!!!

This queso is probably the best I've ever had. BTW it is a LIL spicy but I can let that slide. Another great appetizer option would be the Nachos Al Carbon with wagyu. Super good too & honestly you can even order it for just one person as a main dish-- the serving size is big enough. BUT THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW AT LAS PALMAS ARE THE WAGYU FAJITAS!!! Incredible. Comes with flour or corn tortillas, beans, rice, and obviously the works: sour cream, guacamole, lettuce. You know the vibes. Speaking of vibes, they're always there at Las Palmas. It is always busy but I genuinely don't care and never mind waiting an hour and a half for our table. It's worth it. This place is a confirmed staple in Dallas. Now, I will note that the parking proved to be a touch challenging, and the grounds were a bit damp from the rain though, I suppose that is simply to be expected. It certainly did not dampen my spirits, because the moment I stepped inside, I was utterly captivated. The decor is absolutely magnificent, adorned with a curated collection of cowboy hats and photographs that beautifully capture the true, authentic spirit of Dallas. It has such character! I initially settled in at the intimate little bar, where the bartender greeted me with wonderful hospitality. To begin, I ordered a Spicy Mezcal Margarita an exceptionally flavorful choice that was executed flawlessly. After a lovely, brief chat with the bartender, the sun began to break through the clouds, warming up the day beautifully. Naturally, I decided to move out to the patio to fully immerse myself in the vibrant afternoon energy. The overall atmosphere, service, and decor are nothing short of extraordinary. For lunch, I treated myself to the Ribs, and they were divine truly delicious and prepared to perfection. Between the exceptional cuisine and the thoroughly satisfying ambiance, this establishment is an absolute triumph. I shall most certainly be returning
