Inside of the Grilled Taco Asados with chicken fajita meat. SO FREAKING GOOD
    Caitlyn Y.

Hot damn these are the best tacos I have had since moving to Texas (and I'm originally from Southern CA..) I got the grilled tacos asados with fajita chicken. The tortilla is grilled after it's been filled and it makes the cheese so melty and delicious. My husband got the tacos al pastor and he LOVED them- I don't like fatty meat so I wasn't a fan but he said they melted in his mouth. Carlos was our server and he had so much charisma. He also talked me into a margarita and I'm glad he did! I got the house marg with peach flavor and it was so good. We will be back! For happy hour because that menu looks so good!

If you're looking for your next Tex-Mex comfort fix, Eddie's is the place to be! From the area, to the food, to the service, it's an all around classic! We stumbled into Eddies on the hunt for dinner after having holiday cocktails at Leela's and oh my, it was amazing! I went ahead and tried one of their frozen margs and it was classic, I also ordered their crunchy tacos and they were great! What really stood out was their charro beans! They tasted like something I would make at home for family! My boyfriend enjoyed from fried tacos and they were delicious with a wonderful crunch! We will for sure be back for our next Tex-Mex fix!

This was my first time trying out Eddie's but I had to try it out after my parent's stellar review. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating-- outdoor seating is covered and is pretty well air conditioned since they keep the bar windows open for the air to come outside so it doesn't feel too hot! We sat at the bar and the bartender was extremely nice and helpful with suggestions on what to try! Seemed very knowledgeable and was very attentive. We ordered some margs (both frozen & on the rocks) & they were very yummy! Ordered a mojito as well & that was strong too ;) The food was great in my opinion. Pretty large portions and was able to share plates with a group of three including myself. I did really love the nachos but I joked with my friends that there were literally two pieces of meat on each nacho lol. Still really good anyway. Great location on Greenville & doesn't feel too crowded or loud! Will continue coming back here :)

Stumbled in here hungry with my little sister who was in the verge of hangry and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to stumble upon. The tacos were delicious the bartender was amazing and drinks were flowing. I'll be back

On a Wednesday night we were able to get a table outside on the patio for two. Enjoyed the outside atmosphere of Lower Greenville. Chips and salsa was complimentary and tasty. We both ordered Quattro combos. The meal came within ten minutes and everything was hot and fresh. We both enjoyed the meal with some extra sour cream. I felt overall the food was good, not great. The chicken was a bit dry. Rice was a bit bland but my better half told me that's more authentic. I'm not a big carb eater so it was a cheat for me... just wanted more I guess.

Food was pretty standard Mexican. Thought the soup was thick and had a great flavor. We went on a Friday night and the parking was horrible. It was SUPER loud in there.

I think the service here is great but the food not so much. I think this place has its regulars though. They had a pretty reasonable happy hour here so it was a good place to go to have some drinks and appetizers. It was a nice place to talk and it was not loud outside on the patio. I am not a fan of Tex Mex but this place was ok.

Since the weather has been so nice lately, outdoor seating is super popular, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you can. Even though we didn't have one, they were still able to accommodate our group which we really appreciated. The service was amazing...everyone was so polite, attentive, and fast. The drinks were delicious and the food came out surprisingly quickly as well. They also offer valet, but if it's packed, there's parking across the street too which was convenient. Highly recommend for a nice lunch or dinner during the weekend. We'll definitely be coming back again!

The location is super cute and always packed. You definitely need a reservation or have to go super early to get a spot. There is valet parking as well as street parking, which can get a bit crowded. I've had a ton of different food items the years, but their fajitas are their signature dish for a reason! It comes out sizzling, fresh, and delicious. Do not pass up on the bone marrow sauce, it transforms the dish to beyond a 10/10! The salsas are always good and then tortilla chips salty and fresh. I start with a skinny margarita w a salt rim, which was good. Our waiter, Abraham, was great! He was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We also order the ceviche to start, which was yummy! The crackers were a bit of an odd pairing for me and I stuck with tortilla chips, but overall delicious!! My friend ordered the steak quesadilla and thought it was tasty too.

This joint is quintessential Tex-Mex. Kitsch on the walls and a menu full of stuff that includes…read morethe same 3-4 ingredients. Cold, spicy salsa. Even colder bottled beer. The service here was great on my visit. The atmosphere, albeit a little crowded, was comfy. As I do with my first visit at any Tex-Mex joint, I order the combo plate. I was very pleased with it here. The taco was crunchy with nicely seasoned (non-greasy) ground beef and lettuce and cheese served on the side (I told them no tomatoes). The tamale had a wonderful brisket-like filling, although there was a little too much masa for me. The cheese enchilada was filled with actual cheese, which is a good (if not rare) thing these days. The chili con carne topping was wonderful, as was the rice -- which is among the most perfectly cooked that I have ever experienced in a Tex-Mex joint. The refried beans were run-of-the mill. I must say that the enchilada tortillas are firmer than most. Not necessarily bad, but they definitely don't par-fry these things before rolling. I tend to judge Tex-Mex joints by their salsa. If it's served warm, I take points off the board. This stuff is served ice-cold and has a wonderful bite. Bottom line: If I lived here, I'd be a regular. Excellent Tex-Mex.
