We were in the area visiting family, and decided to drop in. We got the ceviche mixto, it was perfectly delicious and fresh. The fish and shrimp were tender and very fresh. We got the lomo, pollo, and mariscos saltados, which were all very flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The beef was tender and flavorful. The mariscos saltados was my main dish, and I would definitely order it again, it was great. Many in my party thought the pollo saltado was the best of the 3, so we all agreed that this place was worth a return. Oh, and my sister ordered the bistec, which was so tender and flavorful, thinly cut. The portions were also large, The service was nice as well. We'll plan to return. read more

Terrible experience! We went to this restaurant with 6 people (5 adults and 1 child), and when the bill came, we saw an extra 18% "Big Party Fee". No one mentioned this fee before we ordered, and it felt like a complete rip-off. The fee was written in tiny print on the menu, it stated that an additional 18% fee is applied to "over 6 people", which clearly means 7 or more. But when I questioned it, the staff insisted that it includes 6 people, and they said they are not supposed to remind us when we were ordering. This is misleading and dishonest. It's not about the extra money--I did pay the 18% so-called "Big Party Fee" in the end, I don't care this dozens dollars. We felt cheated and completely disrespected as customers. A restaurant that pulls tricks like this does not deserve repeat business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The ambiance is just what I was hoping it would be given the twinkling lights you can see from the parking lot, and the food was delicious, Service was a little slow, but everyone was polite and honestly it gave us more time to enjoy the live music. Micas is a must try. read more

Our first time here and I thought this was amazing! Came in on a Sunday evening and service was fast and polite. We got the empanada trio, which was amazing, I thought the flavors were really balanced. My husband got the Peruvian fried rice with seafood (chaufa de mariscos I think it was called) and he loved it so much. I got a bistec dish with rice and fries and I also thought it was amazing. Meat was cooked well and rice was perfect. My husband loved his pineapple margarita also! Def come try this place! This place recently replaced Mi Ranchito, and they did a great job making it more contemporary and homey! Decided to try it out with my mom today for lunch. Our server was great, she gave us rolls with huacaina sauce right when we arrived. I had the lomo saltado and my mom had the pollo saltado along with sides of yucca and plantains. Everything was delicious! They gave HUGE portions for both plates, so there was enough for leftovers. I loved the lomo, and my mom enjoyed her pollo. Price point was honestly worth it given the amount of food we got. We'll definitely be returning back! read more

Food has a great flavor. To date, we have tried the Lomo Saltado = great flavor, tender and juicy meat, even the fries have a good flavor/texture. The Bisteak Anticuchero= EXCELLENT flavor/texture. Awesome little place. We were seated immediately by friendly staff, given water, and warm bread with butter while we looked at the menus. There's a fantastic selection of dishes and it's decently priced. The decor is nice and clean. There's a lot of cultural decor but it doesn't feel cluttered at all. The bathrooms were decent and clean. We ordered the grilled steak with yucca and the lomo saltado. The food was flavorful, the steak the tender, and the fries were crispy/crunchy on the outside but super fluffy inside. I love aji verde and theirs was amazing! So delicious! The only suggestion I could make is to make the tomato and onion slices thinner. That's just my personal preference. Overall, the food and service was great. It's definitely going to be my go-to when I need a Peruvian fix. read more

I ordered the trio of empenadas and their arroz con Pollo y huancaina. 100% delicious! Everything was top notch. The rice and chicken was fantastic. The potatoes were fully cooked but not mushy. The meat in the empenadas was cooked perfectly. The mix of tender meat/cheese and the Crispy flakey crust was fantastic. THE SAUCES! The sauces that come with the meal are worth the trip on their own. I ordered to go so no comments on service but everyone was very friendly. I was asked twice if someone was helping me. Finally came in to try this new location. Been to Micas in Rancho. The service is great, big portion for the lomo, that you can actually share if you're not a big eater. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Only slight tidbit, the lomo lacked a bit of flavor, rice was good. The aji-limon sauce was , loved it. Meat seared to perfection, the ajo (green sauce) had a little too much cumin,,which over powered the flavor of the meat.
