We been going to a different mechanic 2012-2025 just to have a failed transmission due to never changing transmission oil that we were charged twice but apparently service was never done . Having 3 Honda vehicles and will be switching all to Michael . Replaced few times oil on Milwaukee at take 5 .Filter not secured properly etc . My husband got a brakes done here and the actual charge was a lot more than the quote. It shouldn't have been because it included all the parts that were estimated in the repair and nothing more was added. Also a week later there was sound coming, and we took it back and he said there was a rock caught in between the brake and the brake pad and instead of actually apologizing and doing it for free, he charged us more to fix that when it was there shoddy repair that caused us so much inconvenience and headache. After that we have not been to this repair shop and don't believe we ever will. read more

Took my car here because somehow the brake reservoir was empty and brakes failed. Was told the master cylinder needed to be replaced. Paid to have them do it. Paid to have them do it. A week later same issue. They then told me I had to replace the calipers. Paid to have them do it. A week or so later I came back same issue. Was then told I needed new brake lines for around $500. I said no way and then dug into it on my own. Turns out the master cylinder was still leaking, and not the brake lines as I was told. He said it was under warranty and that he would replace. Another week or so went by and same issue. I looked again at the master cylinder and it was leaking and still looked original. I ordered one and replaced it, solved. The master cylinder I took out was the original one from manufacture that had deteriorated O rings and corrosion on the connection base. Not replaced as I had suspected. Spent a lot of money that wasn't needed and they put the safety of my daughter who drives the car at risk time and time again. They deny this claim and won't reimburse. Still debating legal action. I do not recommend. read more

Michael is a very honest and hardworking mechanic. We had a tire replacement which resulted in him discovering that one of the wheels was cracked. Michael suspected this was still under warranty and from his shop, he drove my truck all the way to the dealer to get it fixed by the dealer since it was covered. He could have fixed it and charged me but he went the extra mile and saved us hundreds of dollars. I've had other work done by him (new tires, oil change, etc) and he has been very reasonable. My family and our extended network of friends have been coming to him for a while, he actually moved to this location just a few months ago, hence the small number of reviews. I couldn't more strongly recommend Michael's work and ethical treatment of his customers. read more

Michael is the most honest mechanic you will ever find. Recently dealer quoted me $1500 for numerous gaskets to be replaced. I went to Michael and he found out that dealer had loosened many of the nuts/bolts. Michael confirmed that my car had no leaks or issues. I had to write a review after the superb service I just received. I came in this morning for an oil change as Michaels shop is along the way from me dropping my kids off. I know there is some existing issues with my car but did not expect Michael to do a quick visual diagnostic of my car. He came back with issues that i knew about but he brought me in to show me just how bad it was, and some other issues i couldn't pinpoint that was driving me nuts. At no point did Michael try to sell me his services or pressure me for those other issues. He simply told me what's wrong and what my options were, and left the final decision for me to make whenever that may be. Do you know how unheard of that is ? To find a honest mechanic just to let you know what's going on without trying to sell you everything. Like I said, i came in for an oil change, and left with a sense of relief because im aware of what's going on with my car and what to expect. You best believe I will be back to take care of those issues with Michael and all my future vehicle needs.
