The food here is amazing. The service is absolutely superb and beyond attentive. I went here quite some time ago, and did not have quite the same experience or recollection. Justin Wolf the new GM put special touches into my dining experience to ensure sure that it was the highlight of my trip. A big Mahalo to him and the staff. The food here is definitely quality not a quantitative experience. I would recommend the main dishes as opposed to the raw bar or shellfish. I somehow missed the tasting menu, but will definitely be back to try that. The black cod was absolutely amazing. The fish was perfect and the consistency of butter. The Kyoto Miso sauce was heavenly. I just wish the portion of fish was larger. Quality not quantity. Note to self... tasting menu next time. The Kona Kanpachi Crudo was interesting and flavorful but did not move me much. The highlight taste was the special dish that Mr. Wolf brought me. Something made by Mr. Mina for his wife while in Hawaii, Small and powerful. I'm not sure quite all the ingredients but a delicious smoked salmon, cream cheese and topped with black caviar. Absolutely phenomenal. The prices here are high but worth it. I would recommend a reservation. The restaurant is tucked away in the Bellagio art and flower gardens. During our vacation in Las Vegas last month, we were going to watch the O show inside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, so Hubby did some research and picked Michael Mina inside the same hotel for dinner. It was an excellent choice! The restaurant was not extravagant looking, but it had a modern interior, very good vibe, and we felt very comfortable dining there.  Service was impeccable.  Paul, our server, was very friendly, courteous, and attentive.  He asked if we were watching a show, asked about the showtime, and assured us that we had plenty of time.  We indeed had a lot of time, and leisurely and happily spent over 2 hours there. As we were going to have two big extravagant dinners coming up in the following nights, we decided to go with something lighter before the show. Each of the 3 of us ordered the "Overture" pre-show dinner, and we ended up ordering the same choices too! We picked Green Avocado Gazpacho & Crispy Blue Prawns as appetizer, Wood Fire Branzino as entrée, and the fixed dessert was Lavender Crème Brûlée with Harry's Berries.  They gave each of us a shot glass of complimentary savory mousse before dinner. There were also dinner breads and dips. All of these only for $79!  What's most important was that both the quality and quantity of food were excellent!  The branzino was seared to perfection with skin crispy on the edges of the fish belly! The prawns had a nice crispy wrap that resembled kataifi, that was so good with the tasty plump prawns. Everything was very fresh and tasty.  Hubby and Daughter each ordered a glass of Chardonnay Neyers, and I had a mocktail called Fresh from the Tree, that was very nice and refreshing. Hubby and I each also ordered cappuccino that was of good size! We were very pleased with the "Overture" menu, with the final tab of $408 for 3 people, that was a very good value in the strip, or anywhere in the states.  Although the food was very good, I could not finish it because of the generous portions.  We left very full and happy!  I highly recommend it! read more

Looking for a quiet restaurant for an important business meeting in Vegas is not an easy task. After an unsuccessful attempt at another restaurant at the Bellagio hotel with a poor attitude, I came across Michael Mina. There, I was warmly greeted by the delightful hostess, Jessie. She not only allowed me to inspect the tables for my meeting but also introduced me to the general manager, Justin, who listened to my requests and executed everything perfectly. From the incredible server, Alex, to the rest of the waitstaff, my guests and I were thoroughly impressed with the top-notch service. The food was exceptional--probably the best tuna tartare I have ever had--and they even accommodated vegan dietary restrictions. This is probably our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas because the food is consistently top notch and it has a lot of our favorites (like the Maine lobster pot pie). We always get the tasting menu. A new recent change is that they have consolidated the Seasonal & Regular tasting menus into just one tasting menu for $185/person (with a $115 wine pairing). You can also pay a $48 supplement (well worth it!) to add on the Caviar Parfait which is smoked salmon, creme Fraiche and egg mimosa topped with delicious caviar Yum! You can make reservations online and you'll need them since the restaurant is always busy. We visited this restaurant one evening and were so impressed that we immediately booked a reservation for the following night. The food was exceptional, and the service impeccable. The environment in this restaurant is a quiet calm break from the casino. Every dish we tried felt special, and the amuse-bouche was a delightful surprise. Let me start off by saying that the service at this place was spectacular. Our server Alejandro H. was wonderful and was accommodating the entire time. We gave him a very handsome tip because he was so attentive and caring. We ordered the old fashioned, strawberry and aloe, and lobster gnocchi. We originally wanted to order steak but their menu was very limited. We did not particular like the offerings at this place. The portion size was small for the price and the quality of the food did not fit the bill. Our gnocchi was cooked perfectly but the lobster was rubbery and very overcooked. My friend's old fashioned was good and my strawberry and aloe was also very tasty. The ambiance was nice as well. There wasn't much that peaked my interest though. Came here with my husband to celebrate my birthday. Found it really cute when they handed me a birthday card upon arrival. We had a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Both the servers and sommeliers were very knowledgeable and made sure our glasses were always full. We would have gone with the tasting menu and wine pairing, but we had plans afterwards. The server informed us that the whole tasting lasts about 2 hrs. We started with the garlic naan. Then some oysters and king crab. They were both east & west oysters. Man, these oysters were fresh! Next was grilled octopus and crudo. The octopus was cooked perfectly! As our main entree we shared the lobster pot pie. By the time we got the pot pie we were shocked how big it was! I got the bigger portion and cleaned the whole plate lol. For dessert we had the soufflé and panna cota. They incorporated mango as their seasonal fruit, which was absolutely delicious. Celebrating a birthday dinner I had the NY strip and it was perfect and very tender. The birthday girl had the sole and it was terrible. She said it tasted like cardboard. The potatoes were just ok. Our waiter Paul was the best. He was very friendly and attentive and tried to make it right. In the end we were comp'd for her plate. We selected the house wine and it may have been the best cab I've ever tasted. It was: Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 2019. At $34 per glass it probably was worth it. Located in the Bellagio, it was pretty easy to find. We made a reservation and sat right away. The service was pretty good throughout the night, a little lagging at times but overall consistent. My fiance received a birthday card which was also really nice of them. I ordered the Signature Tasting with the Caviar added on, and my fiance ordered the Thai Snapper, which was their market fish for the evening. We started off with some complementary Naan with three dipping sauces - hummus, olive tapenade, and tzatziki. All of them were good and we also had a small one bite arancini that was also delicious. The signature tasting was $185. Since I had the tasting, I started off with caviar parfait, which was an additional $48. For my first course, I opted for the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was pretty good. After the tartare, the dinner timing was just a little off as my fiance had received his entree in between me receiving the tartare and the remainder of my dishes. By the time the rest of my courses came, he had already finished his, so it was a little awkward as I received the remaining three courses. The Half Thai Snapper was absolutely delicious. Each component was so flavorful and not overpowering, and all complimented the entire dish really well. I would definitely recommend that dish, but I'm not too sure if it was worth the $75. My second course was the Crispy Santa Barbara Spot Prawn. While crispy and delicious with the sauce it came with, the batter of the Prawn itself wasn't really all the flavorful. My third course was the Maine Lobster Pot Pie. They cut the lid of the pot pie off and put it on the side. The pot pie was really good and I would recommend but the crust was very salty. It did taste good with the pot pie, but overall, it's just a little too salty for my taste. My fourth course was the Filet Mignon 'Rossini'. Filet Mignon was delicious and so was everything else on the plate. I think it was the small very crispy brioche that was on the plate was REALLY overpowering but cutting it up and eating it with the rest of the dish was good. For my dessert, I chose The Lemon and my fiance chose the Panna Cotta [I think it was passion fruit]. I loved The Lemon, it was super light and refreshing. I wasn't a big fan of the Panna cotta, but my fiance enjoyed it. We ordered 3 drinks and a zero proof mocktail. The bottled water poured at the table [Fiji] geta charged by the bottle [$10]. Overall, for the signature tasting, the Caviar add on, the 1 sparkling rose, 2 cocktails, Mocktail, bottled water, and dessert, the total came out to $464 with tax. While most were delicious and I was definitely full by the end of the night, I'm not sure if it was all worth the pricing. read more

As a Vegas local, I have never once dined at a restaurant that recieved a Michelin Star and I was blown away. The restaurant has a contemporary interior with a classic white tablecloth setting. The service was spectacular and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Our food was served in a timely manner where you can enjoy your meals and not feel rushed. I've never had caviar before and I understand the hype! The Hamachi and Ahi were fresh, the entrees and magic mushrooms were flavorful, and each dessert was beautifully made. We went here to celebrate our anniversary. Foods and drinks are good but only thing I did not like and get annoyed during our dinner are: too many fruit flies and they landed on our food too. We are here in Vegas celebrating a friend's birthday and this restaurant was recommended by a friend. The whole experience was amazing and an awesome choice for our first night here. We enjoyed lavash, octopus appetizer, scallops appetizer, roasted new potatoes, bone-in ribeye, filet mignon and finished off with a few delicious desserts. My favorite was the chocolate chip cookie but the lemon sorbet was also a great presentation with a great flavor. The service was exceptional and they work as a team so the flow of the evening was really nice. We ordered some special cocktails too and they were made exactly how we wanted as well. I was a guest of the Bellagio during Christmas weekend (2022), and I dined at "Michael Mina @ Bellagio" on Christmas Eve. While planning my stay, I was concerned that all of the restaurants within the resort property would be (very) busy. So, I made dinner reservations via the MGMResorts website. While making the reservation, I was given the option of signaling my intent to order the five-course tasting menu ($175/person). After seating, my party also opted for the wine pairing ($135/person). Was the meal expensive? In a sense, not really. Not when you consider how much work the back of house staff puts into making these tasting menus, and the cost of the ingredients. And the front of house staff--our waiter, the sommelier, the food runners and manager all interacted with us. The waiter and sommelier, in particular, were very engaged in curating our food and wine pairing. Michael Mina's provided a very high-touch, high quality dining experience in which you really feel like you're being cared for. read more

Went last night with the family to celebrate Christmas and we didn't want to cook. They had a 5 course tasting menu for Christmas and we went with that with a couple of add ons. Before I even get to the food let me say the service was excellent. From the waiter on up to the GM who introduced himself and checked on us everyone was super attentive and pleasant. Full disclosure I am horrible with names otherwise I would shout them out. The food was excellent. The tasting menus started with an amuse bouche of prosciutto and fig on a crostini. We moved on to the ahi tartar with pine nuts , quail egg yolk and Asian pear. This was good but I think could have benefitted from a touch of acid. Phyllo crusted sole with a crab brandade was excellent. Star of the night was the individual lobster pot pie covered in puff pastry with loads of lobster. Finished with a filet of beef rousing with foil Gras and truffle. Delicious. We added on a dozen oysters which were sweet and briny as well as Michael's parfait which was a warm potato cake with salmon and osetra Caviar and creme fraiche. So well balanced. Finished up with the Mont Blanc and Baked Alaska which were perfect finishers All in all one of the better experiences I've had for dinner on the Strip. Was it cheap? Michael Mina Las Vegas is one of the best dining experiences we've had while celebrating my August birth month over the past five years. I'm not complaining about the other restaurants we've been to in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or Portland, but I think MM Las Vegas deserves 10-stars. After making reservations through Open Table.com a month before our vacation, I looked at their Seasonal and Signature Tasting Menus and their regular menu, which features fresh-caught seafood and prime cuts of meats. I was even more impressed with their creative and traditional cocktails with a twist and stellar wine list. When we arrived for our reservation, checked in with the hostess, and followed the hostess to our cozy booth, all the staff on the floor welcomed us with smiles and warmth. Our server, Jaime, was friendly, professional, and attentive. He explained their menus and gave us suggestions since we mentioned that we had eaten a late lunch that suppressed our appetites. Throughout our dining experience, we felt pampered by Jaime and his service team (one other server and busser) as if our table had been their only assigned station. Since we weren't famished and not in any rush to get anywhere after dinner, Jaime recommended the two of us to participate in either the Seasonal or Signature Tasting Menu experience. Jaime mentioned the well-paced 5 or 6 courses would be served leisurely over about 2 hours. Wine pairings were available, but we didn't order the pairings since we wanted to ensure we'd be able to "stay conscious" to gamble after dinner. However, I ordered a Sarsaparilla Manhattan (bourbon, sweet vermouth, green chartreuse, and root beer bitters) for $23. My husband requested Michael's Old Fashioned (Michael's Signature Single Barrel bourbon, demerara cherry bark & vanilla bitters) for $28. Both cocktails drew from their traditional recipes, with MM's mixologist's twists on the concoctions. We chose the seafood-forward Seasonal Tasting Menu for $175 per person but shared the supplement for $28. The five courses that followed the supplement were well-portioned to stimulate our tastes. Jaime brought out the herbed flatbread, similarly textured like paratha or flaky pita bread, with hummus, labneh, and a cooked vegetable dip. He warned us not to fill up on the delicious bread so we could better appreciate the tasting menu. Tsk, it was a struggle not to eat so much of that hot and fresh bread out of the oven. I recently dined at Michael Mina with a friend, every time I've been to this restaurant the service has been outstanding! On my recent visit my friend and I had reservations and were seated promptly by hostess, Jesse and then was quickly greeted by our server Karla. My friend and I started off our meal with cocktails and decided to try out the tasting menu. Chef Raj and his staff always deliver. It's a wonderful dining experience when the kitchen and service team move in perfect sync, it turns into a performance. Some of our favorites were the Bone broth with kumquat and ginger juices, Caviar parfait, Tuna tartare with mint, pine nuts, and Asian pear followed by Barnegat Sea Scollops with apple, Meyer, lemon and black truffle. As an added bonus we had the handmade Tagliatelle pasta with freshly shaved white truffle which was served complimentary. WHAT A TREAT! We happened to be dinning at the end of Italian truffle season. Eric the Sommelier was so knowledgeable about the wines. We enjoyed chatting with him about the different selection pairings and regions that they wines were produced in. All the dishes we had were paired so exceptionally well with either wine or champagne. We finished our meal with a desert made of praline and chocolate namelaka, I also opted for an after dinner cocktail called The Thinnest Mint (mint espresso martini) Yum! made by Lead Mixologist, Elaina. The whole meal was a masterpiece. If you're looking for a superlative culinary experience, Chef Raj will not disappoint from start to finish with friendly attentive staff and food that is world class you'll leave with an everlasting impression on your pallet. One of the top dining experiences in Vegas. One of the BEST wine pairings I've had in the world. 20 plus visits including a couple of times having the lobster pot pie delivered to the Bellagio poker room, and once with some friends to share the whole lobe of foie, I have never tried the full tasting menu. Huge mistake. The Seasons of Mina (Spring) Tasting Menu ($175 add $28 supplement for caviar and $105 for wine pairing) is STUNNING. The food, excellent. Dishes are very well composed with each ingredient lending its flavor to create a cohesive bite. Excellent use of texture and temperature. Bold flavors with the brightness that is Mina's style. The wine pairing, MANDITORY for perfection. Put another way, for all my travels and all the Michelin stared dining experiences I've had, only one, Narisawa in Tokyo, tops this pairing. Each wine is expertly selected to be an integral ingredient in each dish. Som Eric Davison must be commended. The crispy spot prawn with young coconut, makrut lime, sweet and sour mango sauce with curry leaf alone is powerfully acidic. The accompanying wine mellow the acidity and introduces stone fruit notes that round out the dish beautifully. An old world Italian red with miso black cod, brilliant. The umami of the miso, the brightness of a young ginger infused dashi and the aroma of parilla leaves is all brought together by not the fruit but the earthy, mineral, wet forest floor notes of the wine to create a flavor far greater than the individual parts. Petrol notes playing off vegetal notes of barely cooked peas sets off all kinds of nuanced flavors in lobster... I know, call me a fan boy. Reservations are strongly recommended and are accepted for parties of one (uncommon at MGM properties). Service is impeccable. It's always been good. We sat at The Garden Table inside the Bellagio Conservatory! It was a magnificent dinner set in whimsical environment that's hard to match. The tasting menu was packed with extravagant ingredients from ossetra caviar, salmon mousse, sweet Blue Point oysters, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Duck breast, halibut, truffle risotto, chocolate soufflé, etc. The eccentric setting & the remarkable menu was matched with extraordinary service. Everyone from the hostess, to the servers, to the sommelier were top notch. Micheal Mina should be very proud that his exceptional menu is matched by his exceptional staff! 10 out of 10! Came here again after a few years being held away due to covid. Service on point! Food.. amazing Ambiance understated luxury Music level and lighting just right for an amazing birthday dinner with my hubby. We could have easy conversations. Perfect for anniversary, bday, Business dinners. We each had the tasting menu.. I had the seasonal, my hubs had the signature. We split the wine paring. Best money we spent on this entire vegas trip.
