    Pom poms from Michaels.

Grateful to have this store close by! Ive stopped in many times to grab crafty things and Halloween time was no exception. I was a gumball machine for Halloween. I provided the dress and materials, and my creative sister executed and designed the best costume. I was able to find a variety of pom pom balls here that we used as the gumballs. The service is also great here. I will come back any time I need something crafty!

Cowboy Santa!! I needed him for my Santa collection, oh and gingerbread ladies for next year flower arrangements. Love it!!

I love, love Michael's and this is one of my favorite locations! Today I went back for a special Santa that I've been searching for, also I'm finishing two flower arrangements for next year. Currently they have all their Xmas items on sale and with my $5 dollar coupon,I was walking on a cloud. Oh the gentleman at the cashier was just wonderful and helped me locate the gingerbread lady/house for my arrangement. This month it was perhaps my 5th trip and their employees are always wonderful. Throughout the years their service have been consistent,I always feel extra great when when leaving. Thank you. Went back again, I forgot some items. Young lady cashier super sweet. I feel like that Temu song.

So Michael's came in clutch for the holidays! My work does all kinds of things to make it "festive" at work. We did a door decorating contest for thanksgiving and christmas, and our work life balance committee does special things for employees. One of our nurses was having a baby, so our committee decorated her office area (desk and above) with congratulations for her baby. The committee even surprised me on my birthday by decorating my door. It's a nice way to make work fun! And all the supplies were from this store. They have it all here for any arts and crafts you might need! :) Great value on crafts!

I do enjoy going to this store and they have a large number of projects, paints, frames and it's a store I've been to many times over the years. The employees are helpful and cashier's are friendly. If you are looking for a art project or your kid has a school project they need supplies for this is a good store to check out. Parking is easy to get in and out of. They do have a lot of discounts so that's always nice.

I thought it would be special to paint together and it was! We visited on a weekday around 8pm. The girls at the counter greeted us, explained how everything worked and were so sweet and kind. We picked a vase, our colors and painted together. I received a call 3 days later that it was ready for pick-up! It was perfect!!!!! Something we will cherish for years to come! I will definitely return for a girls night or just a night out of the house. Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking in the connecting lot. You can also bring in any of your own food and drink! All the employees are helpful and kind. They check in a right amount, and do a great job not making you feel rushed. 10/10 environment. Their pieces change through the year, so it's nice to come back and find seasonal things to paint. They close at 9:00pm, but we've found ourselves here for a few hours, so plan accordingly! The only downsides I've found are after the firing process is done. Some of our old pieces from when we first came a few years ago have crazing, which makes the pottery unsafe for food or drink. If your piece is for decoration, it should be fine. I haven't noticed it on newer pieces, so they may have adjusted the way their fire them. The second thing is that all my pieces, new and old, have pin marks from being supported in the kiln. It prevents a smooth surface, but also, I've noticed it's an entry way for moisture, which makes it unsafe for food and drink. One of my pieces held onto moisture after washing it because of the pin holes. All this to say, it doesn't deter us from visiting. We still love coming to Kitsch and will continue to visit. Its a great place to catch up, go on a date, or just hang out.

The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece. As Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond would say, the stomach knows not ugly and these are delicious no matter the result. I will definitely return again soon for more of these classes and highly recommend checking them out for something different, fun and challenging

For a Friday evening, the crowd inside is very light...so I hope this establishment survives. Inside the store, the "stall" set up area feels incomplete or semi-vacant. Most of the vendors are selling knick-knacks rather than food, which wasn't what I expected from a night market-inspired space -- more food stall or hot bar please. The area is sub-divided into sections that seem to try to create a little of everything -- there are spaces for gatherings, worship, paintings and a small gift shop. Food options are limited to just a couple of snack bars, which don't really compare to as much options like 99 Ranch. There is also offering to learn mahjong! One bright spot, though, is the wishing tree, which is a very welcoming and thoughtful touch. Too bad, the paper was out.

It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

The day of the event, Melissa arrived on time (early) to set up, taking care to protect the tables with disposable tablecloths. She set out all the materials (including decorative rocks and pretty colored moss) and guided participants through the workshop. She was happy to answer any questions. Afterwards, she cleaned up quickly and thoroughly. My colleagues thought the event was relaxing; it was a nice team building and we created something pretty for our office.
