This has been my favorite pizza since I was a kid. Just the right amount of sauce, pepperoni and the bread is filling and delicious. They have really mastered the perfect bite in every slice. Started coming here because my kids were raving about it. The pizza is good, I'm a fan of thick crust. Salad is great. The hot wings are a bit small and on the dry side. The hours are very odd. Have wanted pizza for lunch many times and don't open till 4pm. The two older gentlemen that are there are very nice. Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with a young lady that works there and today was the last. Called in my order, very rude and rushing, she gave me the total and I wasn't done ordering. (you should ask if that is it) Came in and the hot wings I ordered (the only thing my husband wanted!) wasn't made and she said she distinctly remembered my order and I did not order that. Even if I had not ordered them the response should be... oh I'm so sorry, I didn't hear you say that, or I apologize, we can put them in right now, it will take 15 min. She didn't hear me because she was rushing! And she should put her hair up, doesn't look good flying all around in a place that cooks your food. read more

We are fairly new to the area and may have passed this place several times before we actually realized it was there. It's a very small place but has a very very good pizza and antipasto salad. We got the dinner special that fed about four people -easily five if 2 adults and children. The people working in there were very friendly, and the prices were great. The pizza is fantastic..its off Palomar and Central/Baxter in a lil shopping center near donut shop. Try it. read more

Well just make sure you double, triple ask them what the total is when ordering pickup. They like to practice the ol'e switcharoo on customers and added another $20 bucks to my final bill and they did not honor the price they gave me over the phone. There is no excuse for this I don't care what you're selling. Anyone can make a pizza but it's old fashion good work ethics what keeps people coming back. Best pizza I've had. Been to Chicago and been to New York, this is still my favorite pizza. Always quick and friendly, and get your order right. If i had to find one thing i should whine about, it would be the price . But that comes with a good pizza. It's not at the price level of Papa Johns, Dominoes , and Pizza Hut , but then again they all are nasty compared to this place. Reeeeaaallly good pizza. I would go here more often but there's a guy there who is really standoffish and has like zero customer service. Tried to use the coupon they offered for texting in to them but it wouldn't load because the internet in that area is absolute crap. He said I must have already used it... but I didn't and he wouldn't accept it even though I showed him the time stamp of when I texted that number. I dunno just really got under my skin. Even though it was just taking off two dollars. But I wouldn't have gotten the extra large pizza had I known they wouldn't have honored it. And it's like every time previous to that I have gotten that guy and he's just... unwelcoming or something. But that was about three weeks ago and haven't gone back since. One of the pizzas around- always delicious! but the owners are always abrupt and it's like they doing you a favor to even take your order. You always get the bums rush if you order anytime after 7pm. They can go for a long time and not answer their phones found out because they close before hours say (like mentioned) It is never open as the times in YELP state. Basically they just close up when they feel like it so if you are looking for a pizza after 8pm forget it. Wish they would update their real hours in yelp and keep to it. This place is good. Any pizza I eat has to be cooked in an old school pizza oven. They have a great pizza oven and super fresh toppings. Good sauce, and I asked for extra sauce on my two large pizzas tonight, no hesitation, no extra charge, but they just did it. The girl that answers the phone was smart and cool. The sauce has a traditional italian flavor, and is not sweet like the sauce at many contemporary pizza joints, and that is a good thing. The cheese was flavorful and was portioned right. The toppings were nothing out of the ordinary, but were portioned well and available in each bite. The Atmosphere: Order via phone or walk up to the counter. No dine in option. Delivery available for a $2 fee. The Staff: Super Friendly, and aiming to please. Warmly greeted at the door, and cordially thanked for our patronage. They also don't charge for a side or ranch. I ordered the thick crust which was yummy, the sauce was flavorful not sweet and it was perfectly baked. The delivery was quick and I think it arrived sooner than quoted over the phone. Because we've been having issues with Stadium Pizza recently, today my fiancé & I ordered a large pizza, garlic bread & 2L of Pepsi, for all under $30 including $5 tip. Over the phone we had some crappy customer service, dude got mad at us because we left the pool to go back to our appt and claimed he couldn't get ahold of the driver. Turned out the driver was the owner and when we met him he actually brought the pizza to our appt. He was so sweet and promised that we would love ever bite, as we did. Not only was the pizza delicious (pepperoni & Canadian bacon) but the garlic bread was soft and amazing as well. The only think I would have wished was different was that they were able to deliver actual cups to us and not little 4 oz styrofoam cups. All in all Michael's is probably going to be our new pizza place. read more
