Stopping in for a calendar book, I know Im late in the game being that we are already in February. So disappointed that i didn't find anything, not one single calendar book in any size, uggh. They are ready for spring and Easter with some great decorations and gift ideas too. Loved the blue decorations for the laundry room and the feminine bathroom and tea decor. They always have some sort of sale with great savings for your wallet. There was so much I wanted to take home with me but I had to really think if I would get ling term use from it.

Came here to check out their Halloween merch and it didn't disappoint. I personally like the idea of incorporating pink into holidays for the sake of keeping pink as a general light aesthetic theme for my home, makes it so I don't have to constantly phase out one set of holiday decor just because it doesn't match my new set. Michaels now has Halloween decor that incorporates pink and I was in love at first sight! I ended up limiting myself to a pink skull but the other merchandise they had was gorgeous. It gave off a very vintage/spooky vibe which I loved. If you're looking to make spooky not only fun but also sprinkled with pink definitely check Michaels Halloween section out. My sis in law and I also walked around looking for good deals and random things we liked. It seems like they have quite a few Halloween craft activities as well as Dia De Muertos crafts as well. With almost everything being 40%-50% off we got some good deals and spent under $50, the cheapest Michaels trip I've ever had haha Plenty of parking, employees greet you when you walk in, there's always carts ready when you walk in the the left and the seasons hot topic is always presented in the front when you walk in. A great location to shop at!

Arrived here on a Saturday around 11:45 am with my sister to purchase some art supplies for her. It's a great plaza since Michaels is there for arts and crafts and dollar tree is next door for any items you want at a cheaper rate. Spacious parking lot so nothing to worry about. Michaels always coupons posted on their website so you'll save money nonetheless. We got 4 items- 2 sketch books and 2 graphite pencils. They've automated their checkout process with about 80% being self serve kiosks since majority of customers pay with card. I like how you can easily find posted coupons on the kiosk so you don't have to scramble for your phone for a certain QR code. Easy check in to find my items and seamless check out process.

Items are same brand and price but can't do an even exchange on the same day and have to come back another day to do this...

I bought a 24x36 frame and realized I got the wrong size. I came back same day a few minutes after my purchase to exchange for a smaller size (20x28), same brand, same sale price as well for 7.99 (I also used a $5 coupon and didn't want to lose the discount). The woman at the counter told me I have to come back in two days just to do that. I told her I'm not happy with this policy that makes no sense and want to just return the frame, she said I can't return it today and have to come back in a few days. What a very stupid and inconvenient system this is for something so simple. Not coming back here.

    This doesn't make sense!

Ordered curbside pick up and I've been waiting in the car, didn't know it's inside the store pick up. Very slow customer service.

    This was the only sign.

I frequent this arts and crafts store whenever I need supplies. It has a very good selection of items. Also, they have sales pretty often.

The process is fairly simple, you go in and pick your ceramic pieces to paint. Each ceramic piece has a different cost, and then there is a fee charged on top of that per painter. You get unlimited paints and tools to use, as well as unlimited time for painting. When you are done, you leave it with the front desk to fire up and pick up the finished result several days later. Would totally come here again for date night, girls night, or just a family activity. It is very group friendly. You can also come here solo if you've got some down time.

The area itself is super cute and cozy, with seating by the windows as well as large tables for bigger parties. We were able to pick up our pieces about 5 days later? And the staff were super nice and helpful then as well! I'm in love with how the finished pieces turned out after firing. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, they had some music playing and everything was neat and organized. From the moment I walked in, the staff stood out with their friendliness and eagerness to help. They were more than happy to guide me through the store and help me find whatever I was looking for, and they did so with genuine enthusiasm. The store itself is a treasure trove of interesting and unique items. Whether you're into home décor, crochet, art supplies, painting, photo framing, or even just looking for cool mugs or crafting accessories--you'll find it here. It really does live up to the name when it says anything related to your hobby is under one roof. What surprised me the most were the prices. I compared several items with what's available online on Amazon, and Hobby Lobby consistently came out cheaper--which was a pleasant surprise! This is definitely my new go-to spot for all things creative and decorative. I'll surely be returning for my future needs. Highly recommended!

Employees were stocking the aisles everywhere, which made it hard to maneuver through. Shouldn't stocking happen before the store opens? They had a ton of Christmas decorations everywhere. They still had some fall aisles, but I'd say the majority of the inventory was Christmas. The aisles that were already stocked were nice and neat. It's a bit overwhelming in there. There's so much to look at that you can easily spend an hour in there without realizing it. I finally asked for help for what I was looking for, but they only had fall serving trays. So I got that instead. I also got a cute gingerbread house-shaped doormat, and a gingerbread boy and girl yard decoration. They have a ton of ornaments. I found some frosted tiny gumdrop ornaments for my miniature Christmas tree. Everything I bought was 50% off, which was a great deal. Checking out took a long time. The employees at the checkout literally have to key in each item. This is a brand-new store. Why don't they have a scanning system? This makes for a very long wait just to buy your items. I think they need to upgrade their system with the proper technology of our time. The young lady who helped me check out was very sweet and friendly.

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2015…read more My mom's cousin, whom I call uncle passed away one month ago today. On my list of things to do during the funeral preparation was to find someone to embroider his chef jacket. His family decided on keeping his executive chef jacket, hence my needing to find a place that could do the embroidery as soon as possible on one of his other chef jackets. I turned to Yelp. I called so many places and many said it would take at least two weeks. I told each place I didn't have two weeks because my uncle was being buried within a couple of days. Almaden Alterations who my family has been going to for over 25 years highly recommended Imagination Embroidery. Imagination Embroidery was literally a God send. They were professional, compassionate, polite and thorough from start to finish. After they listened to my situation via phone they said, 'bring it over and we will have it done by 4 p.m.' They are not far from the Bee Hive Natural Foods store that my family used to shop at when I was a kid. I raced over there, explained I needed embroidery and a patch (the patch to cover a logo). Grabbed lunch, picked up family from the airport and back to the embroidered chef jacket. The embroidery was excellent quality, so was the patch work. It cost about $50 which seemed reasonable for a rush job. In my nearly eight years of writing Yelp review its great to know that good mom and pop small businesses are operating within our community. He would then focus on his own pieces instead of checking on how to students were doing. The classes rarely started on time because the instructor would be eating their late lunch and would consistently forget what he taught us the previous week. Because there was poor time management, we would be working on pieces and then 15 minutes before the class would end, we would be told we have to start cleaning up so everyone would rush to finish what they were doing Because there was barely any hands on instruction, I was constantly watching online videos from other pottery instructors before class to teach myself the tips I was missing from my own instructor The studio also lacked a proper storage system, so every single week we came in, our pieces were in a different place which made it extremely difficult to find our work -- I lost a few pieces because of this The overall experience has been so disappointing and a waste of time and money - if you are serious about making pottery a hobby, I would suggest looking for a different pottery studio
