This is a decent Michael's. Things are in order and clean. Not to messy like some other stores. Plenty of parking but kinda towards the back of the shopping center. If you dont pay attention you might miss it. Friendly employees and I will definitly come back to this location. read more

This is my go-to craft store. Large parking area and very clean store. A lot of their sale items go real fast. Although their prices aren't necessarily the best, they have weekly unlimited 40% off coupons that you can access on your phone and use your phone's coupon during checkout. Sometimes they have coupons for 20% off all items or 50% off a regular priced item. There's a large selection of most items. read more

This Michael's seems to be bigger with more inventory. The staff here also seems more knowledgeable and helpful. I needed 20 rolls of light blue tulle and the Asian guy working the floor that day didn't hesitate to help me. I stumped him when I asked where the elastic bands were, but he didn't give up. He looked all through the store and even radioed other staff members for assistance until I found my elastic bands. Also, the cashier let us use the 50% off coupon more than once, just different transactions. Other Michael's are bitchy when it comes to coupons, like they own the damn store, but not this one. It's 30 minutes away from me, but I'd drive out to this location any day. read more

Love this place! Got a coupon from a Seventeen magazine which I used to buy lots of things. There were also lots of sale items which could not be used with the coupon. However, for some purchases you make you get a coupon so we split the regular and sale items and got two coupons. Sign up for their emails to get more coupons and offers. read more

Coupons galore! This store definitely does not cheap out on coupons and hooking a customer up. All of the wannabe artists in me screams satisfaction in this store. I came for stencils and acrylic paint, as well as stencil brushes. Although they don't have vinyl, the stencils will do I guess. I can't complain! What would have otherwise costed me 15+ dollars came out to be a little under 10 dollars thanks to Michael's online store coupons. I love deals! My wife and I frequently go to Michael's as well as other craft stores. Generally we like the Michael's we visit except the West Covina Store ( our favorite is the Walnut store, Ca.). We've gone to the West Covina store several times and the service has always been substandard! They're very inattentive, uncaring and extremely difficult especially when you have to return something, EVEN IF YOU JUST BOUGHT IT! I would say the management and most if the staff are inhospitable! So we stopped going there. That store ha better service before they moved from Covina to West Covina. Nuff said, if you want good selection great service GO TO THE STORE IN WALNUT! It is also much cleaner than most Michael's. read more

Eventhough Michales didnt have the loom I was looking for I'll still give the store a four start review. The employee that helped me out was tentative. I went into Michaels looking for a knitting loom and some yarn. I couldnt find the loom for a hat and the employee happily helped me, she looked it up on the computer to see if there were any in stock, unfortunately there was none in stock. The girl then proceeded to let me know when they get their shipments in and also let me know that I could download a coupon on my phone to get 50% off. Cool beans. Huge! I'm so glad Michaels moved into the neighborhood. I love their selection of craft items. I was on a mission last night to get some nice ribbons for a project I was working on and their row of ribbons to choose from was awesome. The place was so organized, it made it easy for me to find what I was looking for. I was wasting gas driving around to Big Lots and Dollar Tree, hoping to find some deals, but came out frustrated and empty handed. When I think of crafts, I think of Michael's . So whenever there's a project to be done this is where we go. I do think the prices are on the expensive side unless you catch a good sale, or use one of their Sunday paper coupons. The store is huge and quite frankly I walk out of there with a major headache. There are so many colors and so many things to see that my ADHD kicks right in... But overall, this will always be our craft store. read more

The service at this store is terrible. I tried to get our the coupon on my app and the cashier acted very rude and annoyed..at the other Michaels they would just use their coupon to help me out with a smile. It is a nicer store than industry but I rather go there instead. Is Michaels not reading these reviews? This place doesn't even deserve a star! WORST customer service!! Should have read these before shopping at this particular location. The supervisor Cyndi is rude and condescending. I tried to return a cricut machine unused but because the box it came in did not have another box inside the item she would not take it back with a receipt having purchased it and not used it 6 days prior. She didn't ask me any questions or anything she simply said NO! They have no customer service skills at all!! I had to call corporate to complain and attempt to return this UNUSED ITEM!!! After shopping at Michaels for 20 years I will NEVER return again!! I am warning everyone I know NOT to shop here and you shouldn't either! read more

Their open back frames were fully stocked and without scratches! Unlike the Burbank location. This location, overall, was clean and tidy.

This Michael's was amazing! Very big, fully stock, plenty of items, was able to find hawaiian theme tree ornaments for my Christmas tree next year in the clearance for 75% off including beautiful Christmas cards. Everything was so organized and the staff was friendly. I was loving it, I would have given higher stars but because of their restrooms. I had to go pee really bad, I drink a lot of water, and they were awful, they are secure restroom which means an employee needs to let you in. They smell was real bad and the mini trash cans were all flipped over on the ground exposing the contents of dirty TP and diapers and unflushed toilets. Ladies, seriously! Act like ladies and need how to properly use a restrooms, don't be dirty and messy and for the staff, please be more attentive since we come to your store are your paying customers handing you money and are you handing our products, not sure if you are using the same dirty restrooms. Wow! I don't think I have EVER been so disrespected in a customer service situation. Let me start my story, I am searching everywhere for grid paper, but the kind that when you put it on a copier the lines don't show through, so of course I call your store. Maybe I should just never call your store again! I call and a girl answers the phone, so I ask her for someone to help me find a certain kind of paper. Well, I had to let her finish talking to the customer that she had in front of her to start with, then she asks if I had a SKU number. Of course I don't have that number, typically no one calls with a specific number, that's why im asking for help. So she tells me " I can't find anything for you without a SKU number." REALLY?!? So when you have a customer come into the store and they need help finding something your response is going to be "I can't help you without a SKU number"?!? Just because I call on the phone makes me just as valuable as a customer that comes into your store. So I say "You really can't just tell me if you have this certain type of paper?" Then she rudely goes on saying all these sorts of paper that she does have, going on and on and on to the point that I have to ask to get a word in. And I will admit that at this point im getting upset with her and the way that she was being towards me, that I start being rude back. So I ask "Are you sure you don't have the paper, or you're just unsure of the products that could be in store?" She tells me "We don't have it(rudely)." Well that's funny, just a second ago you told me that you couldn't tell me if you had an item or not without the sku, now all of a sudden you know the stores inventory? So we end the conversation. Without any hesitation, I call back to speak with the manager. This girl answers again. So I ask to speak with the manager, she says "no". Then I ask again "You mean I cannot talk to a manager??", and then she puts me on hold. What is going on at this store? So disappointing. Im so very shocked that, that even happened. I spoke with the manager and she seemed to understand me because there are multiple complaints on this girl. GET RID OF HER ALREADY!!! I came here on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not crowded. When i went the parking lot was hard to find. I accidentally went in Edwards theater. I turn back around and I notice the black words and I think it is Michel s so I went into that plaza. Michel's is next to Toy R us so, just look for a Toy R us. I went in and it was huge and very clean! :D It was my first time there so I didn't know where everything was because it was my first time. I saw some canson price tag that said it was buy one get one free! I ask the lady that was standing there Is all the canson brand? She said "yes'. Then I couldn't find the Sakura jelly roll pens and I ask the lady again. A different lady helped me find the way through. Very kind service! When I went to the cashier I notice there was only 2 cashiers? Good thing there wasn't a lot of people in line when I went. I notice there were like 4 people after. read more
