Mom and I opted for the pulpo (octopus) tacos, mango shrimp and salmon plate, and fried ice cream in a tostada bowl. We loved it all. The pulpo in the tacos was cooked to perfection. The mango sauce was amazing and really brought the shrimp and salmon to a new level. The fried ice cream was bomb and had cinnamon sugar on it and little bits of oreo (or brownie?) swirled into the ice cream. Great new addition to Northridge. read more

Been driving past this place wanting to check it out! I should have A LONG time ago! I ordered chile verde; it's one of my favorite dishes and when a restaurant can make this plate it tells me how good their cooking will be. Not spicy or sour. Just the right blend of spices and the pork was VERY TENDER and flavorful! Beans and rice was good as well. Good portions if you are hungry. Definitely coming back! read more

Service was good. We received our food quick. We sat in the patio outside because it was empty. Food itself was not great. Definitely not authentic Mexican food. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. The sauce was not real enchilada sauce. It was ok but not sure i would come back. read more

Highly recommend this place. Came here on 3-11-21. They offer outdoor dining (about 8 tables) The food is good & the service was great. I loved the tamarindo cantaroto mixed drink SOO GOOD the best tamarindo mixed drink I have had in a long time. I will be dreaming about that thing it was that good lol. One of the best places to eat in the area. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere are top notch. It was our first visit here and we will definitely be coming back regularly. Our server, Sam was attentive to all our needs the entire time we were there and the Fontino makes an amazing margarita. Everyone who works there were all so welcoming. I have been here a few times in the past and everything was great. We have been coming on Thursdays for Happy Hour since they have the best prices around! They have a ton of food on their happy hour menu and great drink specials. The shredded beef nachos are insanely good as well as the taquitos! Don't get me started on the chips and salsa! I could honestly just eat those all evening long! The salsa is incredible! Aside from the food, the service is on point. They are so friendly and wonderful and incredibly accommodating! Parking can be a bit of a problem depending on time with all the other businesses around, but be patient and get in there early! The decor is welcoming and beautiful, and they have outside seating too which is always a plus! Definitely one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the valley! read more

Have ate at the Santa Clarita one so was excited and happy for this one in valley to open near my house the food is AMAZIng and super authentic. The mango michelada is my fav so good so fresh. The fajitas the molcojeta was a work of art and tasted better than anything I've ever had. That pork omg It's super clean new nice beautiful inside. Has a small patio a nice bar area. Lots of TVs and amazing art decorations. This is going to be my new spot. So happy about It. FYI parking can be tricky though huge parking lot but lots of businesses sharing. Can not wait to go back. The restaurant itself is bright and colorful. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately the food was not great. We sat down on a Saturday night at 5:00 and placed our orders at 5:10. We were enjoying the complimentary chips and salsa, and our food arrived at 5:20. This tells me that something is off. How could my chicken taco salad and my husband's two plate combo with a taco and enchilada, rice and beans come out so soon? If they were cooked fresh, it would have taken longer, and the food that was supposed to be hot, would be so. The portions were large, so they definitely should have taken longer and the place was half full. I noticed everyone's orders came out minutes after they were placed. I went here for a drink and a mid day meal with a coworker. It was a last minute go to, to quickly get some food drinks and to celebrate a promotion at work for my colleague. We both got drinks that were slightly above average if I were to describe them. I got a strawberry daq. I also got the carne asada tacos, the chips and salsa and also guac. The tacos came with rice. Friendly service and cute interior. It's such a shame that the food is terrible. We ordered take-out and tried the carne asada burrito (poor quality, fatty meat and little flavor), the 5 taco plate (carnitas and carne asada...the taco was thick and greasy..it had been fried and was not good), bean & cheese burritos (I didn't try it, but kids said it was no bueno), and a carnitas torta that was mediocre at best. Even the tortilla chips tasted a little bit like the oil they were made with was rancid. Overall, cheap, poor quality ingredients. And they forgot our guacamole. So, I called and they were super nice and apologetic and told me to come back anytime and they'd give me the guacamole I paid for and some appetizers. Anyway, I thought I'd go back for the guacamole I paid for and a margarita on Friday after work. We had the guacamole. It was very decent. Tasty. Too bad the chips were so nasty and left an aftertaste. And the margarita was awful. Truly awful. My hubs and I each had a sip and decided it just wasn't meant to be. We paid for the giant margarita that we didn't drink and tipped the friendly waiter and left. It was kind of depressing because we'd like to find a cute place to go have a drink on a Friday night in the neighborhood but this place is NOT IT. And it's not hard. They could do so much better. The place is cute. The staff was friendly. They need an owner / manager / chef to get the place in gear. I don't want to see anyone fail at business so I hope they read this and make some changes. We've been talking about trying this place for a bit and decided to go. The food is not authentic Mexican and if you believe it is, then you probably think that Taco Bell is real Mexican food. Our order came in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the carnitas with rice and beans and my wife got the combo plate with a taco and enchilada. We were both surprised with how fast our food came out. Both of our meals were lukewarm. The rice and beans were not freshly made and I could be wrong but it seemed like our plates were just microwaved. The only thing that came out hot was the chips. The staff were pleasant but overall didn't seem like they wanted to be there. This was our first and last time coming here. We were hoping it would have been better. read more

Definitely would recommend this place! We walked in & were seated right away not too busy for a Saturday afternoon, which was perfect because we were ready to eat the minute we arrived. Within in the first 15-20 mins our food came right out! It was definitely a more relaxed ambiance setting for the time we were there, however I'm sure during the evening it could get pretty busy! Pros: FULL BAR & EXCELLENT SERVICE. Loved our server wish I remembered her name Cons: No one liked the food We decided to try out this restaurant to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. It's been saved on my YELP list for a while. With the excellent reviews it was a no brainer. Margaritas are sub-par. The sweet and sour or triple sec they use had an odd flavor. My husband got the mango michelada that he said was good and sis got some watermelon drink she said was bomb. On to the food, we got the queso dip, aroz con pollo, steak ranchero, Cali burrito, tacos, abondigas soup, torta and Diablo shrimp and something as simple as a quesadilla not one person was happy with their food. The flavor and quality just isn't there. Place is cute, full bar and tvs make it ideal but food needs work. Service 5 stars food 1 star so we get 3 stars. read more

On our way back from Solvang and we decided to find a spot for Albondigas Soup, once we arrived we sat down to order we asked out waitress Marisol what she recommended once she took our drink order CucumberMargarita and Horchata. This is our second time here and we are definitely feeling this place. The service is great, nice people, they take your order right away and bring chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. 11 20 23 I brought some friends from Korea and they really enjoyed it.The table side guac was great for them to watch. They had never seen it made before. We shared the Sampler and El Trio. Good choice for them to try a variety. They enjoyed everything. The jabanero salsa surprised them. Korean people think their food is spicy. Haha! This salsa was very "hot" for them. During my last three visits, the toilet seat in one of the stalls has been loose and shifts around when you sit down. On my most recent visit, I also noticed that the stall walls were quite dirty. These are relatively small maintenance issues, but addressing them would definitely improve the overall guest experience. I had the pleasure of dining at this Mexican restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was inviting and the service was impeccable. To kick off the meal, they provided a complimentary serving of fresh chips and salsa, a delightful way to start the evening. I couldn't resist ordering the bean dip, which was absolutely amazing and set the bar high for the rest of the meal. During happy hour, I tried the tacos, and I was blown away by the generous portions and the incredibly tender meat. I went for the Asada and Carnitas options, and both were outstanding.
