They also do alterations and repairs, they have a wash and fold service, they handle complex items like wedding dresses, comforters and blankets. They have a same day service and they will deliver if needed. I've tried 5-6 different places and Michelle's outperforms every time. Found this cleaners on Yelp with 5 stars however, my experience was very unfortunate. I brought my wedding dress in to be altered, and felt that she completely understood what I wanted. Before leaving, she told me she didn't need the bag for my $1000+ wedding gown, and then she proceeded to wrap my gown around her arm multiple times. I went back to try it on after a week and it was hemmed too short, and had ink stains on it. I was completely mortified that someone would treat my wedding gown this way. After the employee asked to clean it for me, I denied her request because I didn't want the same person who STAINED my wedding dress to have another chance to ruin it. I am heartbroken and wish i could go back in time and go somewhere else. Please consider other places who will respect your clothing items. read more

After getting a ridiculous quote of $8k for custom drapes from The Shade Store, I was determined to save myself some money but still get the custom size drapes I needed for our unusually sized windows. We found some great quality custom drapes sourced directly from India using Spiffy Spools (still expensive but an 1/8th of the price), but naturally they needed to be pressed when they arrived. I spent an hour trying to press them myself, but they still looked wonky. My mom was great at ironing but unfortunately I did not pick up her skills. I brought in a bridesmaid skirt that needed hemming--it had been made by a fellow bridesmaid who lives across the country, and then sent to me to have it hemmed to the correct length. I was a little worried it might not be long enough when hemmed! I would highly recommend. She does impeccable work, but even if something was amiss, she is the kind of person to go out of her way to make sure you always leave happy. I finally got around to cleaning my wedding dress a year after I got married. I got a quote from a few different places for $250+. Given that I was going to sell my dress this seemed absurd to me. However, I still wanted to take it to a trustworthy place that was capable of removing my set-in stains without causing any damage to my dress. My husband had been going to Michelle for some time to get suits cleaned and pressed, so when we asked about cleaning my dress, she was honest about the amount of work that needed to be done but still gave us a deal far better than anyone else. My dress came out better than I could have imagined. She got out all the dirt and spills and the consignment shop owner was very impressed with the job. Michelle wasn't there when I went to pick it up but had her staff call her so she could speak with me over the phone. TL;DR They ruined an expensive pair of jeans ($165). But she owned up to it and reimbursed me for it, which I really appreciate and upgrading to three stars. Came by and was warmly greeted by Michelle. I wanted to taper the leg opening of my jeans. It was a very simple job--I gave her another pair of jeans as a reference and asked that she match the measurements exactly. I was expecting her to lay the pair of reference jeans over the one I wanted her to tailor and use a tailor chalk to mark how much she would need to take in the leg opening. Instead, she asked me to put on the jeans and took my measurements somewhat haphazardly using pins. I understand this is typical for taking in a pair of jeans. I asked her to make sure her measurements matched that of my reference jeans and she assured me that she was going to taper the leg opening by 0.5". Came by today to pick up my jeans. Tried it on and they tapered the leg opening much more than what I asked. Instead of tapering it by 0.5", they removed 1.5" (possibly 2")! She assured me they could let out the leg opening, but when I came back, the leg opening wasn't any wider. She said, "We let out the calf area as much as we could, which is what you asked for right?". I told her (again), that it was the calf area AND leg opening. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough fabric to let out the leg opening and I ended up throwing the jeans away. I'm disappointed because these were a very expensive pair of jeans and hard to find. My pestering about pricing and alterations needed were responded to very promptly. This is the first time I'm eager to use a business just from the responses. Not only does she have super skills, she also has super people skillz. Her smile makes me want to keep bringing her more stuff! The downside to that is that I have to keep buying clothes that don't fit well just to see her. Luckily, I'm a first grade teacher and my ties will always need to be dry cleaned! Summary: if you want overpriced cleaning and alterations with staff that treat you like just a number, avoid Michelle. I just got my dress back and I was in love! The hems were perfect and the once too long straps were nice and snug.
