She was very kind and understood what I was asking and booked an appointment with me right away. Her price was right for my budget and I was excited for my appointment! Once there I was greeted with kindness and professionally and felt a warm vibe. She did exactly what I asked her to do with my hair and now I'd like to think I'm a regular client now! Definitely should have known... everything the reviews said was true! Had a conversation on IG gave photos and told her specifically, the type of hair I would be using for the braids and how I wanted my hair. She let me know it would be $230 and said she could do 11am Wednesday. I arrived at the location, they looked at me confused asking if I had an appointment and the time what I was looking to get. I let her know, I had a conversation on Instagram, she found it and said ok I see, hold on one moment. They were very polite the whole time. Another lady comes out and says how she misread my request and she's very sorry but she's the only one that can do human hair and the price is now $300 because she didn't know the type of hair and that she takes responsibility since I did mention exactly what I wanted. She also goes on to say she can't do it until 4pm after driving 45 min to her location at 11 she wanted me to come back 5 hours later. I asked if I was to go get synthetic hair could she do it at 11 because I have work the next morning and 10pm was too late to finish my hair hence why I agreed to the 11am appointment. Needless to say I did not return to an unprofessional Braider and it myself, for free.... But be prepared for your time to be wasted if you think about booking with them... Follow up, I put the same review on google, the owner proceeded to reply to the review and call me cheap because she changed the price that I have screenshots of. The price was not the only problem, the problem is changing the price when I arrived to an appointment and she still could not fulfill the appointment. I've been getting my hair braided by this team for at least over a year (since before they relocated to this nicer salon). They are kind, instructive, and helpful. They always ask to clarify what I'd like in advance and give me advice on maintenance and hair health. I have been getting compliments on my hair every time I leave from them. I am quite shy and they make me feel comfortable without ever feeling overwhelmed. I've been getting Microbraids (of varying size depending on my tolerance at the moment ) and they always ask me what I'd like. Photos of my most recent braids attached to this review. They also did large French braids for me once when I was going on a quick trip. They team up for quick install and I am one who really appreciates efficiency. They work tirelessly for hours to make sure I get in and out without delay. My micros are $350 and they prefer cash (or will accept Zelle). Depending on size takes me about 8 - 10 hours. (I usually spend it getting work done ok my iPad or catching up on reading). I don't believe they sell hair so you will need to bring your own. Scheduling an appointment is very easy. Just call or text and I've been able to get on the schedule even without too much lead time. This new location has very easy parking and is easy to get into. They were just moving in so can't speak to final look but the place is small and very clean and comfortable. I've watched them interact with other customers in past and they've always been kind, professional, and the final looks are great. I can't wait to see them thrive in this new spot. read more

Update: I got a call from the owner. She said she seen my review on Yelp. Was yelling at saying that my hair falling out it normal. Long story short... I thought this call was to apologize and offer me my money back. Nope That was not the case at all but instead... She asked if I got my money back would I Not go to BBB? I told her I wasn't sure because my head was still hurting as it does today a week later and as you can see my hair is still falling out on my last wash on Friday. I'm horrified! When I told her I wasn't sure because I didn't want anyone else to go through this. She says I was black mailing to her. Lol I said no it's not Is black mailing it's getting your money back for services.You are not Happy with and your not offering me a solution for my pain and lose of my hair! Well, I have an appointment at 8:00 AM, so I called yesterday to confirm they did not pick up, so it was followed by a text message saying this is my whole breeze. I missed your call so I send a text message saying I have an appointment at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning to get my hair braided. I'm calling to confirm she never responded. I never replied, so I tried calling several times and texting. And she would never respond so when I told her I was gonna leave a review on her side she decides to call back when it's too late now because now it is like 1:51 PM and it's way too late. If I could give no stars I would. I normally never give anyone a bad review. I work in the service industry myself so I know how important customer service and communication is to a client. When I get to the salon I sit in the stylist's chair, and I show her a picture of what I want. She then takes my pack of hair and begins to cut it up. After she cuts my hair up she slicks 1/2 of my hair down with Jam product. She begins to braid the hair, and midway through the braid I stop her and correct her on one thing. She then takes the hair out of my head and says "I can't do your hair because I do it my way, and I can't continue" She then begins to pack up my pack of hair (that she cut up) and gives it to me to make me leave. All I said to her was if you could not do the style once you saw the picture, then you shouldn't have even touched my hair. She left me hanging with a sticky head full of product, and used hair. It was a nightmare. I was pissed and will never ever go back there again! That was my lesson learned for trusting a place I knew nothing about. I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advance and tried calling and texting to confirm with her. I got no response for two weeks and then the night before she contacted me letting me know she was going to cancel my appointment. This is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate considering she had two weeks to let me know she wasn't going to be able to make it and I would've been able to look elsewhere. I went to have sone wefts seen in my hair and my old wafts taken out. When she took them out she hurt me so bad she was break my hair and my hair was already frail she didn't do them all the way to the sides and now one is already coming out ! I do not believe they really m know how to do hair I'm so mad she totally ruined my hair and was so rough !I paid $90 when my original girl does way more wefts and straightens it ! TLDR: Do NOT go here if you want good service. 0 star experience. I recently had a very negative experience when coming to get my hair braided a couple weeks ago. I had requested a specific cornrow style when scheduling my appointment, including a reference picture that didn't exactly match the style I wanted. I clarified exactly what style I was looking for and the business owner confirmed that her sister could do this style. When I showed up for my appointment, her sister completed the top half of my hair, but began doing the style that I already said I didn't want for the bottom half. I spoke up to let her know that I wanted something different and she told me that this wouldn't be possible. She immediately had an attitude and refused to do my hair because she claimed I was being disrespectful for asking for the style that I booked. She left me with half my hair done, a ton of gel product in my hair, and told me to find someone else to finish the bottom half of my hair. She also proceeded to call one of her sisters to complain about me in French when I simply asked her to do what I had requested. She refused to finish my hair or take down what she had already done. Incredibly poor customer service with an unnecessary attitude due to a miscommunication between sisters. They're not serious about their business and can't be trusted to complete the work that they book you for. read more
