    Fajitas

A solid 3. It was busy. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated...not bad, but about 8-10 staff walked past us with no acknowledgement, including the hostess, who eventually sat us. Service continued slow, but pleasant. Waited about 10 minutes to order our drinks, another 10 for them to arrive. Food came out relatively quickly considering. Mussels were good, tasty, although it tasted as though the wine hadn't been cooked off enough. My son enjoyed his pizza, but the fajitas. Oh my. I was surprised to find sauce on the fajitas when they were served. It was quite sweet, and I am diabetic, so would have preferred it not there. And...it was teriyaki sauce...on fajitas...with salsa, cheese and sour cream. Definitely a NO for me. Then there was the burning smell. It took a few minutes, but the sugar in the sauce started to burn on the skillet. Not carmelize, but burn, leaving a quite unpleasant acrid aroma. It took 3 napkins to wipe as much sauce as I could get off. Several staff passed by as this was happening, but none stopped to ask about it. A few other patrons ordered fajitas also. So the smell continued. I hope they enjoyed theirs more than I did mine.

An ok visit to this busy restaurant. The food was ok, everyone was happy with what they ordered. Started with a cheese dip and chips. We had a pizza with Avocado on it, I was apprehensive about but enjoyed it. I had a steak sub that was mediocre at best. My buddy got a calzone that he claimed was decent so I believe him. All and all it was ok. Would probably rather go somewhere else in the Falls if I had to, like camp Cataract

I've read the recent reviews, and I'm trying to figure out what people don't like about this place. I'd be happy if Mick & Angelo's was near where I Iive, since the food we had was good, substantial, and reasonably priced. The Greek salad is enormous, though we had to ask for a little extra feta cheese. But, all the ingredients are high-quality, and the Greek dressing was really good. The thin crust pizza was tasty, and you get a lot of food for your money. The seafood linguini was loaded with seafood, and the Alfredo sauce was creamy with a nice Parmesan cheese flavor. And, as with the other things on the menu, there was a lot of it. Now, combine the massive amount of tasty food with reasonable prices, and then add in TVs everywhere you look, and you have a winning combination.

Needing a quick dinner near our campground (KOA), we stopped in for a bite. It's a sports bar and restaurant. Partner got his chance for a little baseball watching. They had a band on the patio (lead singer needed some lessons on pitch). I order an app of artichoke dip. It was heavy on garlic, almost metallic tasting. The artichoke was not chopped evenly. Partner ordered a small pizza. Said it was good. I ordered a small Caesar salad, the dressing was flavorless. Mussels were my main entree. They were quite tasty. If near by we would stop by again.

Yesterday afternoon my girlfriend and I decided two things. 1) We needed to eat lunch in Canada and 2) That we needed to eat calzones. These needs took us to the Peace Bridge where the border patrol directed us to Mick & Angelo's Eatery and Bar in Niagara Falls! We came here around Noon yesterday and immediately recognized the place from the thousands of times we've driven by it. When we walked in the place had a decent amount of people and we were seated right away. The menu here is pretty basic for a large Italian style restaraunt offering everything from pizza, sandwiches, burgers, chicken fingers, and of course calzones. I ordered a calzone with Italian sausage, chicken, and extra cheese and it was served with french fries on the side. My main problem with this place is that they don't have meatballs......and I love meatballs in my calzone. Even though the lack of meatballs broke my heart just a little bit, I was excited to dig in. When the calzone came it was smaller then I would of expected from a $17 calzone. The calzone itself was alright, but nothing to really rave about. The meat inside was good and so was the cheese, but overall it was just a basic calzone, and the same goes for the french fries. Overall, this place is as alright as it gets. The atmosphere makes for a cool night out but I would suggest ordering something other then a calzone.

I had a nice lunch here on a Friday afternoon with friends; one of them being gluten free. If you plan on dining in, be prepared that you may have to wait as the indoor dining area is not very large. They also offer patio seating on nice days, though I'm not sure how large that area is. There is a large bakery case to the right when you walk in and my GF friend gravitated there and had to order her goodies right away to make sure they were secured while we waited for our table. She ordered 2 cinnamon rolls, a cookie, a pastry heart and one more item all for under $20. She enjoyed them all, the cinnamon rolls being her favorite. We were seated in about 10 minutes and brought drinks right away. We ordered an app sampler, fries, Cluck Norris (fried chicken sandwich) and a Turkey Reuben wrap. The wrap and also the sandwich came with a choice of greens, house chips, sauteed vegetables or an upgrade to fries or onion rings. My GF friend had the apps and fries since at many places she cannot have such things: it included mozzarella sticks, pretzel nuggets, Chicken fingers and fried pickle spears with all the accompanying dippers. She said the mozz sticks were a bit too thick for her/not hot enough because there wasn't a good cheese pull, but she thought everything tasted good. The fries were thin cut and tasted good, but she prefers a thicker fry as do I. The wrap was made with real, thick sliced turkey breast, not lunch meat, which was very exciting for me. It was moist and delicious. My other friend had not complaints about her Cluck Norris sandwich. Whether or not you are gluten free, I would recommend Kith & Kin for some good quality eats & baked goods! The staff was all super friendly, from the bakery area to the wait staff, not a mean mug in the house! haha

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and everything was really good. Located right on the corner going down Lundy's Lane, the place looks very simple from the outside, but once you walk through the doors you realize you are in for an elegant dining experience. Started out with a orange Pellegrino which was wonderful, they brought out some bread and this amazing honey and ricotta cheese spread. Absolutely to die for but be careful. It would be easy to fill up on that and miss out on the wonders of the meal that's coming. I started the meal off with their Caesar salad which was absolutely perfect. The right amount of dressing lettuce was second to none and it was one of the most delicious Caesars I've had. I opted for the gnocchi oso buco ragu, which was absolute perfection. Be careful though, these gnocchi are no joke. The taste will keep you eating all of them and you will absolutely be ready to take a nap afterwards. Bottom line? If you are looking for fine dining in the Niagara falls area, you would be doing yourself a disservice not going to this restaurant. It's absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!
