I returned to the shop expecting the owner to inspect the issue and provide a reasonable solution, but instead, he became extremely upset and angry. His attitude was unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility and trying to help a customer who had already paid for a service, he chose to argue and become aggressive. A business should stand behind its work and treat customers with respect. I am very disappointed with the quality of the repair and especially with the way I was treated. I would not recommend this shop to anyone based on my experience.

Other places had us calling them every day for an opening or waiting until the end of November. L&M got us in in three days. We arrived exactly at 3:00 on Tuesday as the snow is just starting. Whew! Maybe it should have been a warning sign when the tech walked back into the office (35 min into our appointment) and asked how he's supposed to work on a BMW when Honda keys are attached to the work order? That took you a half hour??? The super sweet Christine (who makes a killer cheesy potato soup) quickly found our work order and our 3:00pm job now has a 3:45 start. The car was finished in about an hour, as quoted. Plus, at twenty dollars per tire, it would appear a successful visit, thank you to my friend! Wait! Successful up until we were on the road again, approaching Tudor on "C" street. Wobble, wobble and off comes the left rear tire and lodges sideways under the axle. The freakin' tire came clean off! It's Tuesday, 5:00pm rush on our first seriously ice covered road this season. Now we're staring at the Bear Paw bear on the corner with only three functioning wheels on the ground. But thankfully, no one was hurt. Naturally, we called L&M who called a wrecker and carried us back to the shop. At L&M's expense. Having no loaner vehicles, they then sent us home in a cab. Again, on their dime. The following morning our car was first on the rack and all repairs were made. Once more, no charge. In fact, our initial $80 for tire service was refunded and L&M paid for our return cab ride. I spoke to Michael, the owner, and he confirms that they not only double checked/repaired the problem wheel, but they also rechecked the bonehead's (my term, not his) work on the other three. Tragic in some eyes, irresponsible in the eyes of others, inconvenient in mine. Mistakes are made in this world. I get that. This is one area they are not excusable. Burn my steak and you can always make another and we're all good. A serious accident happens due to neglect on my car, that could've have been a catastrophe. One maybe you don't recover from. To sum up. A huge unacceptable mistake was made. But this group bent over backwards to accommodate. They sent the cavalry to rescue us, secured our safe transport home and back then double checked all the work done to the vehicle. They waived all charges and paid all expenses. Equally as important to me is each of them offered a sincere apology even though only one person botched the job. I normally give local businesses a few chances before totally cutting ties. In my book this is a stand up organization that will get my future business and deserves four stars. 10/22

Since the prior owner sold the business, things have gone way downhill there. Take my advice and never bring your vehicle to this place. They don't deserve your business.

First, I want to say that my issue with my lights has now been properly handled and everything is working great. I truly appreciate that. Initially, I didn't have the best experience with one of the older staff members, as I felt dismissed when trying to explain my concerns. However, things completely turned around when I spoke with another associate at the front (a very kind and professional woman). When I asked if I could speak directly with a mechanic, she immediately went to get someone for me. She brought her husband, who I later learned is the son of the owner. From the moment he approached me, I could tell he genuinely cared. He listened, understood what I was trying to explain, and handled everything professionally and respectfully. He worked on my vehicle, fixed the issue, and took the time to explain what was going on. He also helped identify another concern with my horn and let me know we could schedule that repair. What really stood out is that after he worked on my vehicle, the issue completely stopped for a while, which shows he took the time to really look into it. Now that it's starting to come back with the change in season, I'll be returning to have it fully taken care of. Because of this experience, I've changed my rating. Warren & Sons deserves a 5 star review. One negative interaction shouldn't define a business, what matters is how they handle it, and they made it right. Pros: When I called in the morning they were able to get me in same day for a tire changeover Cons: Everything else. When you arrive it's unclear where you go to drop your car off. I wasn't sure if I line up at one of the garages or park and go inside. The parking lot was completely filled. So I took the first option. I was quoted one hour, and said I was going to get picked up to grab lunch, they said no problem we will call when the car is done. 4 hours passed, I called to see if the car was done. Thankfully. When I got in my car to leave one of the tire sensors was flashing telling me I had a flat tire. Which obviously I didn't. I went back inside and asked for my sensor to be reset. The guy at the desk was extremely rude and told me if my sensor wasn't working then it wasn't working when I brought it in. I was kind in letting him no I brought my car in with no issues other than the studs needing to be changed out for the season. He had someone grab my keys and reset the sensor for me. I didn't go back inside just grabbed my car and left. I am 99.8% sure a pair of sunglasses I left in the center console were swiped. I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't say anything but I'm very confident in that. Lastly. The price. I've been paying $70-90 for tire changeovers. This was $120! To sum it up - I don't recommend this place and will never be coming back.

After a 6 month nightmare with the local ford dealership we stopped trying to fix our explorer…read morethere and took it somewhere else. The computer has been acting crazy ever since some work was done at the dealership, but where else do you go to get that fixed. I looked up a few dealers and many don't have the equipment to deal with these types of issues. I called anchorage auto electric and they said they could definitely take a look. They were able to remove the piece the dealership wanted us to replace after their work (a $1200 piece) and test it to say it was working perfectly fine. They rebooted the computer and since then it has worked great. They weren't able to recreate the issues we were having prior to the appointment but the technician watched the video we had taken and they were adamant if anything happened again to bring in the car right away- no appointment needed- so they could diagnose anything else it may have been. They were quick, honest and actually worked on and returned my vehicle the day of the appointment. I've see the reviews on Yelp and google and there seems to be a mixture but from our personal experience these guys were on top of it and I am really glad we called them.

I included the header flanges with bolts and gaskets. After ten days, I checked in since I had heard NOTHING. I was told he didn't have the correct flange to connect it to the existing muffler. Did he order one? No. Had anyone called me? No. So I told him I would get one myself. A few days later, I delivered two flanges, just in case! Four days later, the project is done. Did he screw the hanging O2 sensor back in? Nope, just left it hanging. So, we had a small exhaust leak until we got home. THIS: 200 dollars per hour. Special equipment? No. Special training? No. Parts in stock? No. High-tech computer diagnosis? No. Amazing welding? No, but sufficient. $200 per hour? Yes. Final cost - over 700 dollars. When I asked our front guy, he told me the owners set the prices and that he's just doing his job (collecting the money). Tristen, the welder, nice enough guy, friendly, competent. But it is amazing that the owners believe their work and shop is so precious that they demand that kind of hourly rate for muffler work. To be fair, I noted later that it is posted in a small frame behind the counter. But even at that price, this service did not come close to $200 per hour. Would other specialized services that require a 10K+ diagnostic computer, subscription, and experience, etc., justify it? Perhaps. But pipe bending and welding? No. To be clear, Tristen's work was fine after I provided all the parts, but the pipe This kind of blanket rate is what tells customers to keep shopping if you need exhaust work done in a timely and fair way... and don't forget you'll be charged an extra 3% for using your CC. ;-)
