He presented me with 3 options for tires instead of just pushing the ultra performance tires that the dealer says "is the only option". After spending time discussing the pros/cons with Rudy I was able to make my own informed choice, again zero pressure and very helpful info. While I don't want to buy tires again anytime soon, America's tires has won my loyalty and will be recommended to friends/family. Stopped in on my way from Phoenix to LA to make sure my tire pressure was good. First, I waited…read morealmost an hour in line to get my tire pressure checked. There were only 4 cars in front of me. Next was the concerning part. The younger guy doing the pressure check went inside and out came this larger muscle guy wearing a black America's Tire shirt instead of the usual red. He came up to my car, introduced himself and asked how I was doing. I said I was good, and asked him how he was. He dramatically huffed "I'm exhausted!" He checked my tires, then came back and told me that my rear driver side tire was "completely bald" (his words), and that my front passenger side tire was ready to split. He told me "No way are you going to make it to LA," and then told me that I needed to replace these two tires immediately, and instructed me to park by the front door. Oddly enough, I made it to LA that day and back home to Phoenix safely, and without having to buy tires. Also he never mentioned my rear passenger tire which, according to their own email they sent on my tire health after this visit, had the least amount of tread. Weird, huh? It totally felt like he was trying to push and sell tires on me, and even try to scare me into buying tires. I got a bad vibe, said thanks and left. I went to a local gas station, checked my tires, then went to another America's Tire where they said my tires have some wear and tear on them after two years and being in the desert, but nothing alarming like the previous guy said. Then when I got home, just to make sure, I went to a local America's/Discount Tire (that's what they are in AZ), and got the same story - tires looked pretty good for being two years old, and traveling in the desert and had some wear and tear. If you wanna be scammed and scared into buying things you don't need, this is the spot. Never again for this location.

I'd purchased their tire protection agreement, but it's their position that it only covers the tire - not the labor or disposal. So I guess if I go out to eat and my chicken is raw, I have to pay a second labor fee to cook my chicken correctly - and pay them to throw my raw chicken away. Go elsewhere... Other tire places cover everything with their tire protection agreements.

Spoke with the gentlemen asking about bringing the car in for a service. We weren't too far from them so that was nice. The place was already busy when we walked in. Both cars being worked on in the garage as well as people waiting. The guy was very sweet in explaining everything and made it easy. We left the car there for service which they would give us the heads up before anything was done. Got the call to say what was needed and that was that. It didn't take long for the car to be service. A replacement lightbulb and service was completed professionally and efficiently. When we came back to pick up the car, another gentleman was very sweet. I don't know if it's a father and son duo but they were both amazing and very friendly. The chit chat at the end made it feel like we were more friends catching up than a first time base meeting each other. They were very professional and friendly. Never really felt to get a price beforehand, as they've usually been fair on their prices. We'll, today I should've asked. Today I needed 4 dismount and remount with my provided new tires. I also asked them to check battery life on the tpms sensors. Got a call that 2 were dead. I approved to replaced all. That was where I f'd up. I got charged $620 to break down, remount 4 tires and replace 4 sensors. So that generally breaks down to 220 for tire mount service and 400 for 4 sensors. The work is always done correctly. But at $100 per sensor is absolutely insane when the tire is already removed for the new to be installed. The most expensive at O'Reilly is 140 for four sensors. I usually like to get kissed before I get f'd. Won't be coming back
