    Muddy and messy

Not excited about the mess and mud scrapes left. I understand it's getting to 90s now and maybe leaving windows open was a mistake but we don't appreciate leaving a car outside to public that is business property and shouldn't be open to the public.

    Hole in down pipe
    Gote M.

Posting this review in hopes management will contact me to resolve this issue. I have made numerous attempts to reach management (Patrick). Left corporate a call. We had a full cat-back exhaust system installed on a brand new vehicle. Exhaust supplied by us. Vehicle was driven and found that it later had an exhaust leak of some sort. Which set a code in the vehicle, that prompted us to take in for inspection. When inspected by another repair shop. We leaned to find that the exhaust was improperly installed by being welded on instead of using the factory clamps that came with the vehicle factory exhaust. Also we found a hole in the down pipe caused by the welder working on the exhaust which had set a code off on this vehicle. Came down to bad welds and damage caused by Midas. Please see attached photos. I really hope Midas does the right thing and resolves this matter. See attached photos of bad welds and damaged downpipe

If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced auto repair shop near Gold River or Rancho Cordova, I'd definitely recommend them. They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

I contacted 916 Auto after doing a 2 and half week research (which included Yelp and Google…read moreReviews) to have my 2004 Mazda 3 AC Condenser (Factory OEM) replaced. My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time! Have fun out there & do your research!

Let me start off by saying that after moving to Folsom, CA, needing to find a place to get my oil…read morechanged was a little challenging. You read reviews, and you never really know whether you're making a good or bad decision by going to a place that has some negative reviews. I'm here to tell you that I had a VERY good experience today at this Jiffy Lube. As I sat waiting for my car to drive into the bay, different employees came over at various times to let me know what the wait time was looking like. The shop manager also came over and told me that the wait time was about 14 to 15 minutes per car. Since there were three cars in front of us, I figured it would be around 40 to 45 minutes, just as the shop manager had estimated. Brynna (I think that's how it's spelled) came over when it was our turn and guided us into the bay. Once we got in, we communicated about what needed to be replaced and what they were offering as recommended items that should be monitored for our vehicle. Let me tell you, from beginning to end, my experience at this place was absolutely wonderful. After letting Brynna know about my Battery that needs to be replaced by Interstate Batteries since its under warranty she offered to have me come to the shop and have it looked at and so this way they could get a reading for me that I could take to Interstate. I Thanked her for her offering but advised that the wife works really early and that it would be difficult for us to come that early in the morning. I had my oil changed, my oil filter changed, my Antifreeze was topped up and my Windshield Washer fluid was topped up as well. I was able to find a $33 coupon online and so the value for the oil change was very worth it. So thankful that I have a great place I can rely on the next time I need my Oil Changed. Thanks Jiffy Lube for being there for someone who was WAY past due on his Oil Change.

Update: Hello fellow jiffy lubbers, I must share this critical update!…read more The day after my glowing review, I set forth upon the king's highway only to discover that the skid cover beneath my noble chariot had not, in fact, been reattached. It dragged dramatically upon the pavement like a wounded knight's shield, announcing my arrival to every citizen within a three-block radius and ensuring I was fashionably late for work. For a brief moment, I questioned whether this was a bold new aerodynamic feature or perhaps performance art. However, upon my return to Jiffy Lube they mentioned someone had indeed jiffed up and alas my skid cover was quickly reattached. Now, did I receive a complimentary bottle of oil or an apology for my troubles? No. ___ If Shakespeare wrote automotive reviews, he'd call this place "The Jiffiest Lube That Ever Jiffied." 10/10. Would trust these legends with my car, my lawnmower, and possibly my emotional well-being.

However, I brought my car in Wednesday to have them check the A/C (only due to Speedee not having an A/C mechanic). It was not always blowing cold when I switched the re-circulate button. They fixed it and added freon, but forgot to inform me that the coolant resevoir holder may be leaking/seeping, as it has coolant stuck to the outside (owner of Speedee pointed this out to me weeks ago). I could've gotten that fixed! Even though they quoted me over $650! So, I get my car (they had locked it up indoors even though it wasn't 5:30 yet) and it is filthy w/grease stains on my front sets and driver door! They obviously didn't use seat covers, paper for the floor boards or even shoe covers or gloves. Dang! Even Speedee uses seat covers and floor mat covers. I'll be looking for a new mechanic spot now. A family owned business that takes better care of their clients cars. I've NEVER received my vehicle back lke that before. Unacceptable!!!
