Wow!! Go figure who loves going to their mechanic??? Me! I have five old junker cars and three young drivers so I do not want to invest in cars while paying for college uggggg! I am a frequent customer and I see the Midas guys at least 2-3 times a month. Alan and his crew are never too busy for me or my cars. They maintain my fleet at a fair price and always give the ultimate customer experience meaning my car works when I leave and it keeps working afterwards! They stand behind their work and keep me educated as to the status of each car and what's needed. I used to get tires at Costco but now I give all my business to Alan they match the price and warranty and I keep all my car business under one roof do I don't get confused. I also got lifetime brakes and alignments on all my cars ... Way worth it! I trust them they warranty their work and they care about me and my family! First time i visited Midas was when i purchased my current car early this year. It seem like everywhere i went there was something wrong with my car and it was always something new. I needed an oil change and after getting ripped of at a different Service Shop i decided to give these guys a try. I was very please by the service. Everyone was nice and they did a courtesy check on my car and showed me what i actually needed to fix instead of throwing money away on parts that dont need replacement. Every time i go for a check up and an oil change i always leave with a good impression. Everyone is sweet and helpful and i actually feel like i can trust these guys with my car. Im definitely a fan and on top of that, they are right by my job. :) So i can just swing by when i need something without driving around like a crazy person. I look forward to my next oil change. Honestly this place deserves more than 5 stars. I've been coming here for maybe about a year now and I've never been disappointed. I've only come for oil changes on my 2012 Camry and is the first professional place I went to, to get it done (before it was either my dad or brother). So, I was a bit apprehensive given the stereotype about car mechanic shops and their preying on the simple-mindedness of most women when it comes to all things pertaining to cars, however I was genuinely impressed. I never sensed anything disingenuine at all in fact they even have this certificate on the wall that they were awarded for female friendly service. I'm always welcomed and taken care of with the utmost respect. Marco and David are literally there all the time to answer my questions and also inform me of any concerns about my car. I'm always there for no more than an hour even when they say it might take longer. My price is always the same with no surprises or unexpected surcharges. The diligence and thoroughness of this shop is excellent and I hope it stays this way because I fully intend on coming here for many years to come. read more

When I moved back to CA from out of state a year ago, I needed to get my entire emissions system fixed. I had gone to two different places before which quoted me $1995 and $1400. I took my car to Midas and not only did they do a terrific job, they only charged me $1000. Fast forward one year, I brought my car in because my timing belt was making a lot of embarrassing noises. I had had it replaced two years ago at a different place. Midas quickly adjusted the belt for free and now no issues. Conveniently located near our son's school, I went here right after dropping him off. There was no wait since it was first thing in the morning, and from what I gather, you can always set up an appointment ahead of time. I received a $19.99 coupon from Albertson's that included an oil change, tire rotation, and fluid checks, but even without the coupon, the price was still reasonable compared to other places nearby. I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes so the service was fast! The Keurig coffee they had was good, too! The staff, especially David in the front, were friendly and professional. Not knowing a thing about cars, he patiently explained everything in full details. I immediately told my boyfriend the recommendations they suggested to be done to my car which he already knew about. A lot of auto shops usually push for other "unnecessary" services, but this particular Midas definitely made me feel like they're not just after my money, and as a struggling student, I really appreciate their service and honesty. This will definitely be our new go-to shop for both of our cars! read more

I cannot express how grateful I am for stopping in for a whim oil change (knowing it was due, but I'm a procrastinator) and my check engine light had just come on (turns out was the gas cap and replaced immediately!!). The customer service here is absolutely wonderful, "Female Friendly" (gotta go to understand!). Allan and Henry were the best representatives any place could have. They knew what they were talking about, they were honest and upfront about prices, (even beating a coupon price I happen to have on me!) very outgoing and made me feel comfortable and safe as a woman walking in, whereas, its easy to take advantage of that situation. I could go on and on, and I even received a very very unexpected and generous gift from Allan, after the topic of my newly discovered first pregnancy came up! Never in my life would I have ever suspected an "oil change service place" to do such a nice gesture to a stranger such as myself. I guarantee that I will maintain my loyalty to this specific Midas location. They have what any customer is looking for with vehicle maintenance needs. This car shop really takes care of you. They don't beat around the bush; they're very concise and friendly. I've brought my car here several times and the service has been great but this last time was without a doubt the best. It was simply a diagnostic but Marco and the others let me know it would be more than 1800 to fix the car (almost 30 years old) and didn't trick or pressure me into anything. The service was so great that I was inclined to write my 1st review on yelp after years of usage. Trust worthy and very reasonably priced, they will most likely beat any quote. They also go above and beyond...they dropped me at my place about 1 mile away, and when they did not finish my car on time (due to wrong parts being delivered) they rented a car for me next door complimentary to compensate. I never knew what the Midas touch meant, until the other day I brought my car in. A night before, I had a metal piece stuck in my tire. I brought my car to an actual tire shop and they said it wasn't repairable. I didn't believe it... because it didn't look like it damaged the side of the tire, but they said it went in too deep from a bad angle... So they didn't want to take it out and try to repair it. They offered me of course the opportunity to pay $200 or so for new tires. Fortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock so I lucked out of losing my money. I was glad they didn't because I decided to take it to another shop to attempt to repair this sucker. The closest shop being Midas; I took it here and asked if they did tire repair, they sure did. After talking to Marco and his staff, he was confident that they were able to repair something like that and the worst was to pay $20 to patch it up. I believed him of course. Jay the technician, who helped me pull out this big metal tab out my tire told me that the tire was fine even without repair. The metal tab didn't even puncture. He showed me no air leaks from the tire and I was lucky enough because my tire was so thick. I was relieved of this and the $200 I might've spent at some shop who didn't carefully inspect my tire. Thanks to Marco and Jay at Midas, I was able to get to work early morning on time on a busy day. I will definitely recommend Midas and go back again if I ever run into any unexpected car challenges that come my way. 5/5, It's definitely got the Midas touch. read more

About a month ago my car started vibrating I pulled over and then it died. My sister referred me to her car shop so I had my car towed to Midas on Edinger in Tustin. It was given a diagnostic and nothing was found wrong with it. My car didn't do the vibrating thing while at the shop. Dave, Marco, Alan and the crew kept me updated and were determined to figure out the problem. It took a couple days but they fixed it, they said to drive it for a couple weeks and then come back before I pay them. I never had to much trust in the people working on my car to not over charge me and take advantage of my lack of car knowledge, but everyone at Midas just want you to leave happy and come back if you need to. They were professional, diligent and kind and I would recommend them to my family and friends from now on. read more

I came in to get my daughter's tire fixed because the valve stem was leaking. As it turned out, the valve stem was only lose and did not need to be replaced. I'm so tired like a knucklehead I poured a small amount of transmission fluid in my engine oil before I realized what I was doing. David and Alan at Midas were awesome! I called as they were getting ready to close for the evening, explained my situation, and since I was only 1.5 miles away they gave me tips on how to get to their shop safely. They kept the store open long enough to flush my engine and give me a full oil change. Without their help I would have had to have my car towed and had to deal with getting to work late the next day. Whoever said customer service was dead needs to visit this shop. I went here the day before thanksgiving expecting it to be super busy, and it was, but with Allan's great service he was able to get it handled in a reasonable amount of time. While waiting I watched as Allan gave out great service to everyone who came in, supplying them with work that was done right and at a good price. Went in today to get my brakes done bc I hear squeaking. Allan (manager) let me come in within 10 min of our call and when I left my car to get done they'd found the brake pads were fine, just a bit a dirt causing the squeaking noise. Showed me, cleaned it and had me on my way. Such honest customer service and wonderful for women worried about car places screwing you over. NOT HERE! I have 4 cars that our family have taken to Allen at this Midas location for over 5 years. My experience has been that Allen and his team are rare animals in the auto repair world. I trust his advice implicitly and feel he would never advise any service he wouldn't advise in a family members car. He and his team have always done quality work and they stand behind their service. I have taken my Porsche to him with some complex problems and he has triaged them all responsibly and fixed them capably. More important to me is that I have never walked out of his shop feeling like I paid more than I should have and almost every time, feel he gave me more value than deserved.
