    Grilled chicken summer rolls
    Giuliana G.

The food was fresh, fast, and piping hot. I especially loved the summer rolls with grilled chicken and peanut sauce. The service was prompt, polite, and no frills, which I appreciated. Even on a 93° day it was busy and the majority of tables were occupied with people who wanted the delicious pho for lunch. It's not a fancy atmosphere but everything was still clean and the natural light makes for a nice ambiance.

This place is very popular. I've been here a couple times now and there is always a line of people waiting. It's a small venue, a bit cramped, but the food is tasty. They've got your typical Vietnamese dishes, but since it's called "Midtown Pho," I, of course, had to order their pho. The broth was fantastic, and I did not feel super thirsty after the meal so it is not super heavy on the MSG. Good portion sizes too. The only issue was that this place gets so popular, it's difficult to flag someone when needed, including asking for the check.

So glad we stopped here for lunch while in the area. Midtown Pho is a popular spot with good lighting and an energizing atmosphere. The food is excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and varied. The portions are large and prices reasonable. I chose the vegetarian summer rolls and vermicelli noodle tofu. I'm looking forward to returning!

Broth was very good and had tons of flavor. The rare beef was tender and really was a huge portion for the price. Plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños on the side. Service was good and the pho came out quick. Would definitely go back

Rice in the rice dish was cold and stiff though overall was good. Several in our group noted the ramen broth as good. Seating is limited for this popular place. Parking is limited.

I love Midtown Pho! I am very picky, i get no meat, spicy beef pho! It's sooo delicious, flavors burst in your mouth! Very spicy but i can stand it! Haha! Thanks Midtown Pho, for a delicious meal, every single time! Oh yeah, i love your Thai Tea too! Byee!

Great broth, chili sauce (ask for it) is well done. Plenty of garnishments. Decent amount of protein. Not on the cheap side but Pho is best I've found so far !

What friendly staff! The space is nicely decorated with breezy. The pho is pretty good, definitely the best I've had in the Triangle, albeit a little sweet. Portions are good. The soft shell crab was a disappointment though. It came with veggies not scallions and was plated differently than usual. The batter was thick and crunch. It soothed by craving but I probably won't return.

This is hands-down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the triangle area. They have a great story that's plastered on the restaurant wall and are so accommodating toward vegetarian/vegan customers. I always go for the tofu summer rolls and vermicelli noodle tofu dish - so delicious and never disappoints! Their vegan pho broth is mild and not my favorite so would not recommend that unless you put your own sauce mixture into it. My friend said the beef broth was quite tasty though. The restaurant is quite popular on the weekends, so I would recommend going on off times on the weekdays or getting there early to get on the waitlist - trust me, it's worth the wait!

Decor is fresh and chic with the high ceiling. Service was great and quick, we got the soft shelled crab appetizer and it was crispy and delicious. We also got a Bun Rieu (IYKYK ) and pho. The pho broth is flavorful and clear, toppings plentiful. The BBH had all the fixings and if there was blood cake it would be complete. Highly recommend!!

Came for lunch on a Saturday and had a great meal here! They were able to accommodate our large party, which was appreciated. I tried: + Fried pork spring rolls + Iced Vietnamese coffee + Sliced rare beef pho + original banh mi All of the food was excellent. Definitely recommended for Vietnamese food in the area.

This is a popular place and I can see why. The Hubs needed his pho fix and was not disappointed. Rare steak was tender and the broth was on point. I was searching for Banh cuon and was disappointed it wasn't in the menu. The server steered me towards Banh Xeo, a large vegetable-laden pancake. I selected the shrimp version. Absolutely loved taking some minty Thai basil leaves, a piece of the pancake, wrapping it with lettuce with my chopsticks (sometimes dropping it!) and then dipping it into the sauce. The Shrimp Spring rolls were a great stater too. Would definitely be back!

Amazing food, busy on Sunday, fine on weekday evenings. Decently priced, more expensive side for a college student.

With little signage the space feels like a natural speakeasy. It's unpolished enough to feel a little sleazy, yet polished enough to never feel dirty. In other words, it has character, and plenty of it. The bartenders were fantastic: knowledgeable, talented, and happy to chat about the spirits behind the bar. Whether you're a serious whiskey enthusiast or just looking for a well-made cocktail, you're in good hands. Being open later than most Raleigh bars makes Foundation one of the city's go-to late-night options, but that shouldn't overshadow what it really is........a great bar at any hour. The atmosphere, the drinks, and the people behind the bar make this a place worth seeking out whether it's your first stop of the evening or your last.

Pleasant surprise to see Michter's as the special of the night, and it was excellent with smooth caramel and vanilla notes. Service started off a little hands-off since we ordered at the bar, but picked up toward the end when staff came by to check in. Drinks were high quality without being overpriced, and the vibe is relaxed--not at all pretentious. You can definitely come casual. If we had more time, we would've stayed longer or come back for another round.

This place was absolutely amazing. All I can say is, we made a lot of happy noises while eating,…read moreand there were plenty of "oh my God" moments at the table. From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

There are black beans under the skirt steak that were AMAZING. It was just a small option of the dish - not the size of a side portion but almost like a "sauce" under the steak. It was perfect. This place remains a solid choice. I would come here again on a date or with a girl friend.
