Absolutely terrible, ordered brisket bowl... received jerky 0/10 do not recommend - have had it before and was great, not sure why it's changed

It's been a while and was craving some beef brisket and stopped by. The beef brisket was done to perfection and brussel sprouts and mac n cheese in point. The establishment is clean, staff extremely friendly and welcoming.

Food was tasty but portions are small for the price. There are better places in NYC if I'm craving BBQ But the restaurant is fairly large and lots of tables to eat in. The counter staff were very friendly and the bathroom was decently clean.

I've been meaning to get here for a couple years. My niece said she wanted barbecue for lunch and this was the closest one to where we were. I expected a restaurant, but this is more relaxed whereby you queue up and order your own lunch, placed on a tray and then find seating. The ribs were tender, fell off the bone, pretty decent as ribs go. The coleslaw needs mayonnaise, very unappealing. The sweet potato with pecans was so good that I almost ordered more. And apparently the macaroni and cheese and brisket were quite divine according to my picky niece. I'd come back, it's a pretty decent price for Manhattan. But as barbecues go, it's just good enough. The people were probably one of the best features of this restaurant, very considerate and sweet.

I was in the city the other day and I decided to have BBQ for lunch. I came across this Mighty Quinn's in Greenwich Village. The service was quick and the worker was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was quiet for a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the 3 meat sampler. I choose the Brisket, Sausage and Chipotle BBQ chicken. For my sides I had Macaroni and Cheese and Cole Slaw. Everything tasted good. The brisket was a little fatty but tasty. I enjoyed my meal and I would definitely return to try other options on the menu. This place has decent BBQ! I'll tell everyone I know about this restaurant.

My company ordered catering from Mighty Quinn's and I got to choose 2 meats and 2 sides. I chose brisket, pulled pork, roasted sweet potatoes and cole slaw. Both the meats were very dry and tough to eat. It wasn't enjoyable at all. But the sides were decent. It also came with little cups of bbq sauce, jalapeños, pickles, and pickled onions. I love pickled things, but the pickled onions were way too pickled, I unfortunately had to spit it out.

Mighty Quinn's is a go-to spot for quick, delicious BBQ in NYC. I usually order the brisket naked, it's always fresh out of the oven and a good-sized portion. It also comes with a few fixings like coleslaw, pickled onions, and pickles. I typically pair it with one of the veggie-based sides (the beans are good too, though much more filling), but this time I went with the broccoli salad, which was fresh and flavorful. They also have a variety of BBQ sauces to try, which lets you customize the flavor to your liking. I love the West Village location--plenty of seating, fast service, and the staff is always kind and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite casual spots for BBQ, and I'll be back again soon.

Mighty Quinn's has some pretty tasty BBQ. They are a chain restaurant and have many locations throughout NYC. I love the lunch specials they have. For $11.95 they have some great choices including 1/4 chicken, 2 empanadas, and a pulled pork sandwich which is what I ended up getting. Each entree comes with a side. It's a very flavorful bite of the pork, especially with the BBQ sauce and the sweet potato casserole was a great side to compliment my lunch.

Mighty Quinn's ribs used to be tasty and tender. Barbecue is synonymous with July 4th. I wanted some that was reasonably priced. At the Greenwich Avenue location, I ordered four ribs that came with slaw, pickled red onions and pickles all in teeny tiny ramekins. I also ordered Brussels sprouts. When I got my tray my heart sank as I saw that the ribs looked like they had been sitting around for a while and were tepid. The meat was not tender or falling off the bone. Janelle helped me but had forgotten the sprouts which I got when I had finished two ribs. Now these sprouts were delicious and flavorful. I ate them with relish and thought that here is a vegetable far superior than the main. When Mighty Quinn first started at Smorgasbord I used to stand in the queue to relish the barbecue. The longest queues were for this stall. Then they opened on Second Avenue in the East Village and I continued to go there. It was excellent. They opened several branches and somehow lost the flavor. What happened? A unisex restroom is here and the interior was spacious and nicely air conditioned. Outdoor seating was also there and several hardy eaters were there.

Stop by for a quick bite the staff was were welcoming. We both got beef brisket combos , I was asking about the bread pudding and he gave me a little sample of it . Definitely one of the better Mighty Quinns I been to !!

Great vibes and staff is so nice - food is fire also!! Very clean and open and fun!!!!!!

They prepare barbecue the authentic old-school way, cooking low and slow. I like to come here for the brisket sandwich, sausage, and wings. The mexican street corn is awesome. And so is the cinnamon bun bread pudding. There's a bottle of barbecue sauce on every table. Everything's delicious.

Love this place! The ambiance is nice, quiet, The food was MAD good and hits every time! My hubby and I got the brisket with a couple of sides and corn bread. The girl that served us was very nice but the guy at the register was not having it. Did not look up at us, didn't say hello when we greeted him, we asked him for cornbread and he just placed it on our tray. We even said thank you after he charged (cuz our mama taught us better than that) NOTHING, not a word. Super rude. I thought ok, maybe he's having a bad day or something cause you never know who's going through what but after we sat down he was laughing it up with the other tall nice dude that was there. Whatever.. long story short, the food is mad good!! Definitely try it!!! The food never disappoints!!!

If you want to pay in cash, make sure you have the exact amount. The meat was so flavorful and the fat was rendered beautifully off of the meat! I'm docking 1 star because they had accidentally given us 4 skewers instead of 5 that we ordered when they gave up the skewers wrapped in tin foil, anddddd after consuming the skewers did we realize we did not get the variety we ordered, but instead 4 lamb and 1 chicken gizzard. When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were informed there were a few levels. We went to the second floor and they were happy to accommodate us. We were rolling 6 deep and the booth was enough for us, but barely. In our party, majority of us wanted meat with the exception of 2 people only wanting shrimp and something else. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

Since our program covered the expenses, we didn't pay anything out of pocket. Now I enjoy a good BBQ cookout at home as much as the next family, but don't care for it as a dining experience. My employer catered BBQ luncheons from time to time, and even then I wasn't crazy about it. Here in Hill Country, a room was reserved for us (party of 36). Our dinnerware resembled army mess tins lined with sanitary papers; our glasses resembled moonshine jars complete with screw threads at the rim for lids. Our dinner was a catered set of longhorn cheddar mac & cheese (quite good), sliced brisket (meh), market chicken (a little tough), fresh baked cornbread (dry & hard) and collard greens (good but could be saltier). I consumed massive amounts of mac & cheese and collared greens to help swallow down the almost rock-hard cornbread. Desert was chocolate chip cookies (that wasn't bad). Some members of the group ordered liquor (at their own expense) to celebrate the good time they were having. Customer service was less than stellar. The waitress did not inform us that soft drinks were complimentary until after we finished eating. That wasn't all. The restroom was located downstairs past the bar room. During my two visits - before and after the food was served - the same staff member was there cleaning. He had just finished the sinks when I went in the first time. On the second visit, the front door was blocked from the inside by a pail - he was mopping the floor. Couldn't he have waited till the off-peak hours to do that?? Customer service and cornbread were enough for me to not recommend this restaurant.
