They took care of our termite problem and treated all our interior exposed wood in the attic & in our basement to avoid any future infestation. Then I had Pacific Coast re-insulate our attic with their treated, non-toxic, T*A*P insulation which, by the way, is an Energy Star qualified product and has an 85% recycled content. This totally satisfied my "Go Green" California attitude. We Californians ARE making a difference in our green choices. From start to finish the Pacific Coast Team took the time to explain, in detail, each process. They answered every question that we asked them and didn't rush through their explanations either. Pacific Coast Termite and its' employees are professional, honest, thorough and friendly. Friends had referred them to me with high praise for their work but I got 2 bids. I was immediately impressed with the inspector's thoroughness and honesty. Because the termite infestation at my home included so many colonies, including 3 different types of termites, he suggested that I save money and opt for tenting my house, a service that Pacific Coast doesn't provide. However, I chose Pacific Coast Termite anyway because I felt that the inspection was superior and I greatly preferred the orange oil treatment. I also appreciated that the process and options were clearly explained to me. Additionally, they also alerted me to wood that had been damaged and would need replacement as well as some pipes that will need replacing at some point. The other termite services that I had contacted had not mentioned any of this to me, in part because their inspections were not nearly as complete. The employees who performed the treatment for termites and rodents were excellent, and again explained the process and were very considerate with their work in the house. Because of the nature of the rat/mouse infestation (yuck), Pacific Coast also removed my existing insulation and will be replacing it soon with a higher level of insulation that will also inhibit termite action in the future. Because of the extent of the damage and the repairs needed, the cost of services was not cheap but I feel like the work is a very good investment.. I bought a termite protection plan from Terminix last year. I noticed evidence of termites and called for an inspection and I was told that my policy only covered subterranean termites and I had Drywood termites. I'm a lay person I don't know the difference between subterranean and Drywood all I know is I thought I was covered for termites. We were told we'd have to tent our home and leave for 4 days. I work from home so this was a major inconvenience. When I asked the sales person for the price of the job he said due to the unique shape of our home he wouldn't be able to provide me with that information. He said that he would have to have the fumigation subcontractors come by and then write it up and give me the quote. I waited for a week and heard nothing from the fumigation folks or Terminex. Started researching termites on the Internet and came across Pacific Coast. I was very interested in their method as I would not have to leave my home. I called for a free inspection and Chris arrived exactly on time he did a thorough inspection unlike terminex. He went under my house and not only did he find I have Drywood termites but I also had subterranean. I have since found out that had I gone with tenting my home I would have still have had termites because Terminex did not inspect under my home for subterranean they would have missed them completely. Doug and Hector arrived at my home this morning right on time. They were incredibly professional and took great care with my home. I had 4 different companies come out and do a home inspection for termites. I decided to go with Pacific Coast Termite. Robert S. performed a detailed inspection of my home. He inspected the attic, crawl space, the outside surrounding area of my house. When he was done he was able to show me photos of his findings. He was able to put together a detailed report of his findings with photos and a plan of action and emailed it to us within 24 hours. What impressed me the most about him was his knowledge of the pests and the products that the company use to eliminate these pests. I also liked the idea that the house didn't have to be tented and the product wasn't toxic. We agreed to have Pacific Coast do the work. The price was great for the service that was going to be done in addition they provided the best warranty. We arranged an appointment. The two gentleman that arrived Robert G. and Doug V. were on time. They were neat, professional and polite. They had a copy of service plan and began work immediately. They stopped and answered any questions and concerns I had about what they were doing. The were very knowledgeable about their work. They worked very hard. They maintained a clean work area and took the trash with them. At the completion of the job, they went over everything they had done and showed us some of the work they had done. My husband and I called a few companies to come to do an inspection after we noticed what looked like subterreanen termites in our home. One company couldn't come for two weeks! Leticia at Pacific Coast set up an inspection the same week I called. The inspector, Robert was on time and his inspection was very thorough,he explained his findings to us and gave us his recommendations and answered our questions. We had read about the product Altriset and were interested In possibly using it because it isn't toxic to people,pets or plants. Robert said the company uses it and that it was a very good product. He also told us about Bora-Care. We had another company come out a few days later and while we thought the inspector did a thorough inspection, his company uses more toxic chemicals for their treatment. We ended up having David and Omar from Pacfic Coast apply Altriset all around the exterior of our house ,Omar sprayed Bora-Care into one wall and to the wood in our attic. They also applied Bora-Care to an area in our garage. They did an excellent job, Omar drilled some holes in our living room wall so he could spray the Bora-Care and he spackled the holes when he was done so we just need to add some touch up paint. David had to drill some holes in our patio to inject the Altriset and after he was done he plugged the holes so they are not very noticeable. We are very happy with this company, their employees and the non toxic products that they offer. We will certainly recommend them to anyone with a termite problem. read more

Extremely happy and very satisfied customer with Pacific Coast Termite, Inc. Wood Repair Division! I happened to see Dan Haakma, Wood Repair Specialist, almost by accident one morning on October 31, 2019. He was giving individual bids for dry rot wood repairs to a couple of residents a few units up the street from me. I asked Dan to come over and review and inspect the side of my townhouse which needed wood repairs. Dan inspected the required wood replacement work and after his inspection, he gave me a very fair and very competitive bid. His repair people, Armenio and Terrell, came in and did the required work (dry rot removal and wood repair/replacement work) in a very efficient and very professional manner. These people know how to do dry rot removal and wood repairs! Both Armenio and Terrell were very polite, very knowledgeable, and very professional. They answered my questions on the required work. The finished product looked much better than the original wood they removed! Workmanship was outstanding! Armenio and Terrell cleaned up my patio before they left the job site. The branch office in Fremont CA called me every day to remind me when the workers would be on site. I would recommend Pacific Coast Termite, Inc. After having inherited a 1950's house from my mother-in-law, we knew that there would be a lot of deferred maintenance, including termite control. When we found some evidence of termites in a kitchen drawer, we realized that it was time to do something. We had three different termite companies come out to evaluate. Two of them recommended tenting and fumigation as the first choice, but then only gave a three year guarantee (and either no guarantee or only a one year guarantee for the spot treatment of what they found). Chris of Pacific Coast Termite not only found more termite damage than the other two companies had, but never mentioned fumigation. Instead this company has a different solution which uses non-toxic chemicals and both preventive treatment and spot treatment with a two year guarantee. Additionally they offer an extension of that guarantee indefinitely for a fixed price per year. And the total price was less than the fumigation, by far! We even got a discount for scheduling during their non-busy time. It was no contest who to go with. Jack, the technician that came out yesterday to do the treatment, was fantastic. He was polite and respectful, explaining each treatment that he did and patiently answered my many questions. He was careful and took his time to do it right. It was a blustery day, more like three years that the house was abandoned. The winds whipped through the valley, up the steep hillside over looking the Pacific, blowing the doors open. Inside a refuge for many four legged friends. They brought their families, friends, and even strangers into their new world. Inside the walls, beneath the floors, even finding a weekend nests in the closets for those special get-a-ways for a little extra procreation. Then one day giants moved in. They took down all the walls, the insulation, and kicked everyone out they could find. After which they boarded the walls back up, placed new fresh insulation, and kept the doors closed. But they missed a spot, a tiny hole... a highway into the home, and mice began moving back in... The giants called multiple people and companies, they spent thousands of dollars patching every place possible, but the mice were still showing up. That's when Stephen and Aaron showed up. They explored everywhere, they were baffled at first, "Maybe they just didn't leave..." but they were determined to find the source. In the far corner of the basement a tiny speck of light came through catching their attention. They ran outside. They moved a little earth from against the foundation, "We found it!" they exclaimed, "here it is... the highway to the basement!" The giants almost cried with relief because no else had hunted so hard, or took the time to think like the mouse. read more

I looked at other services for inspection and pricing, even though the cost for this service was not the least expensive, I somehow had the feeling that it would be worth the price. Jerimiah came out for the inspection and was very polite and thorough, presented himself in a professional and courteous manner. He explained what he was doing and how the orange oil treatment would work. The appointment was arranged to my schedule and two gentlemen showed up for the work, Marc (Marcelino) and Vincent. Very polite young men who proceeded to explain what they were going to do and how long it would take. I had a last minute thought about the scope of the work and requested to expand to an area we had not covered in the quote, I contacted Jerimiah who was receptive and quickly made arrangements to cover the additional work at no charge. All and all I was very pleased and impressed with the entire process. The only way I can think of to convery my appreciation is to write this review and perhaps convince other people in my situation that can't really tell when a good deal is a good deal. Pacific Coast Termite (PCT), Fremont, CA was one of three termite companies who looked at a dry wood termite problem at my home. The inspector for PCT, Enrique, did by far the most thorough inspection of our home of all the companies who responded, answering all of my questions, and developing a treatment plan. Enrique also confirmed evidence of subterranean termites during his visit, and included treatment for these in his report. The two technicians who did the treatment, Refugio and Vince, were quite qualified, again answering all of my questions, and doing a thorough treatment, including in the attics and crawl space. The company made two additional follow-up visits, one to treat the replacement siding wood before its re-installation, and the second to pick up a suspicious sample at another part of the house. They have assured me that during the two-year warranty period I can ask them back if I see any evidence of further infestation (the warranty can be extended at additional cost). PCT offers treatments that avoid tenting one's home, a process which comes with lots of preparation, the need to evacuate people and pets for several days, to package some food items, and with some environmental concerns on my part. Had my house inspected about 3 yrs ago. I've come to understand that most inspections will not discover 100% of the infestations. I didn't want to tent my house because who wants toxic poison sprayed in your cabinets, on your sofa, on your bed, etc. so that's why I wanted to try orange oil. Yes, your house smells like oranges for a few days, but it's not toxic. I was satisfied with the initial treatment. Everything went smoothly. Since then, I've encountered more termites. Each time, the company scheduled me as soon as they had an opening (within days) and NEVER gave me any hassles about it. My customer service technician, Scott N, did the follow-up treatments under my warranty coverage. He was always professional and would often go beyond the call of duty. Not only did he cover the spotted areas, but would also go beyond to guard against nearby potential problem areas, even if I didn't ask for it. He was always good about taking time to educate me about the termites, the chemicals, or whatever whenever I asked. Due to his good work, I would definitely use this company again and often recommend them to anyone who asks because they stand behind their work and NEVER gave me a hassle about coming back to my house. read more

We noticed subterranean termite activity in our landscape areas in our front and side yard. I called Pacific Coast Termite to ask some questions about their process and recommendations. The receptionist had an inspector(Ryan R.) call me within an hour and they answered all my questions and when I told them that i was getting a few estimates, they told me what to expect in price and service from other companies. Their information was exactly what they said, other termite companies were $400 dollars more and required a quarterly inspection program of another $400 to guarantee their work. I decided to have and estimate and inspection done with Pacific Coast Termite and they came out that same week. Ryan was our inspector and was very professional and answered all our questions. We scheduled our treatment which was done within a few days and they treated not only the foundation perimeter but also our attic for drywood termites. They even came out a month later to reapply around certain parts our foundation where the soil was disturbed by landscape work being done to our home, free of charge!!!! IMPRESSIVE!! My husband and I decided it was time to get our termite problem taken care of after 2 years of seeing the flying ones near our living room window. As most people who dont really know to much about them we wanted to get a few opinions/estimates. We called 3 companies for estimates. Ryan was our inspector and did an exceptional job. First of all he was the only one out of the 3 companies to inspect our attic space ( the other companies didn't even ask if we had one. Planet orange and terminex) He took pictures of the areas and even put my initials and the date so i knew it was from my house. Second, although all 3 companies went under my house Ryan was the only inspector to find subterranean termites (which he also took pictures of with my initials next to the evidence. He even took a video to show us the actual damage the termites were making.) We are scheduled to get our work done next week and we will make sure to update on our continued experience. For now we are thoroughly impressed with the timely responsiveness of this company and the thoroughness of their inspections compared to the other companies. read more

I've work with multiple departments within their organization from the service technicians that treated the property to their wood specialty department that repaired termite damaged areas to their front office representatives. As our remodeling project continued, their service technicians returned to the home to treat all "new" construction. Their front office staff went above and beyond to accommodate the contractor's schedule in order not to compromise the completion date in spite of the fact that I could not always provide them with much advance notice!! Enrique came out on Friday (10/15)---conducted an inspection, explained the results (subterranean termites), the recommended treatment and the cost. He was very professional and knowledgeable---fully discussing all the options. My wife and I felt comfortable with and trusted his explanations and decided to go with Enrique's recommendations. Enrique was able to schedule the work for the next day Saturday (10/15). Rudy and Isaiah arrived on time and went to work ---treating the complete perimeter of the interior and exterior of the foundation. Rudy and Isaiah were very professional and thorough. We were very pleased with Pacific Coast Termite. We started off with a free inspection. Frank Ribeiro showed up and inspected the entire house. He took the time to explain what he was doing and he answered all our questions. Frank did not find termites but he did find dry rot. He offered us a free company estimate for the repair work. Dan Haakma, a wood repair specialist, showed up and quoted us a very reasonable price. Part of the job included ripping out all the wood around two large windows. Dan assured us that he and his crew could do the job without causing additional damage to the house, which amazingly, turned out to be true! We subsequently went with them and were very satisfied with the results. Both Frank and Dan (and his crew) were professional, courteous, punctual and efficient. They inspired trust and confidence.
