They dug a rough trench around our home but made almost no effort to refill it properly--just left a messy pile of dirt surrounding the house. Our landscaping was disrupted, and irrigation piping is now exposed at the surface. For a company charging this much, I expected far more care and professionalism. read more

They were initially eager and prompt to schedule an inspection and sign us up for a 5-year termite contract. We are doing a remodel and during the inspection, the technician found some termites in areas where carpet had been removed. They told us that as we removed more carpet and saw more areas of concern, to let them know and they would come back right away. On Friday we removed more carpet and found additional damage. They did not return my call. Today I called again and they are booked out for 3 months for contract service calls. Obviously, that will be too late. I can't say enough good things about the service provided by Mighty Mite. I contacted them to do free inspections on two properties. Joseph was the inspector assigned to both. I was concerned about a possible outdoor infestation on one property. Joseph took a look and was able to tell that they were not termites and there was no infestation. I appreciated that he did not recommend a service we didn't need. For the other property, we were concerned about an indoor infestation. Joseph looked at the area we identified and confirmed an infestation. Then he checked all around the townhouse, including the balcony, the attic, the patio downstairs, the walkway, and the rest of the indoors. He found several other signs of infestation, including some in the shared patio fence (which they were not legally allowed to address but could lead to another infestation). He gave us an estimate and included time-limited options to reduce the cost. They were able to come out the next day and do the treatment, and they guarantee their work for the next three years. Need to tent due to some areas that couldn't be gotten to to inspect. I decided to get at least 1 more bid. Called mightymite and they came out and did inspection. What a different experience. The tech that did the estimate blew the other away. The dreaded area that couldn't be gotten to the mightymite guy (who was a much larger guy) made his way in and inspected entire area.
