A few weeks back we called Mighty Mite to schedule a termite inspection as we've been seeing the droppings. John came out and crawled around our tight attic and under house crawl spaces in addition to inspecting the exterior of our house and garage. I felt like it was thorough and he went over his findings and proposed treatment options And associated costs. We didn't want to move out to tent again so we decided on a combination of spray on treatments. Later in the day we received the official bid via email and I then scheduled the treatment. I requested that Mighty Mite inspect my property because I found a pile of termite insect wings inside my living room last month. John Schaefer came out on a Wednesday to inspect the house and gave me treatment options and different costs that I thought were very reasonable and customer oriented. I verbally agreed to one of the options which included the front perimeter, under the back deck and concrete, plus the garage walls. We agreed that they would perform the service that Friday at a certain price. He told me that I would receive an email later that day. I received an email that evening to confirm to scheduling the work that Friday. There was no Inspection Report or Contract contained in that email. Normally when a termite inspection is done, you will get a report of their findings and their price to treat the termites. I sent a request for those documents before I agreed to any work. The next day I received an Inspection Report with recommended treatment mentioned for only a portion of the area that I had discussed with the inspector. The Diagram of treatment areas did not show treatment for under the deck. The Description didn't mention treating the garage walls. I asked the inspector several times to make the Inspection Report's Diagram and Descriptions more clear to list the areas that we had agreed to having treated. The inspector, John Schaefer, would not make the few additions to the Inspection Report and wouldn't address my questions. Then he sent a message that he was going to cancel the job and for me to find another contractor. I was very disappointed because we had used Might Mite before on another house and were pleased at their thoroughness and value. This time they were unprofessional for not providing standard documentation for their services before even trying to schedule the services. Plus their unwillingness to make clarifications to the sloppily drawn up documents showed poor customer service. I'm truly sorry to have to write this negative review. read more

A little over due review,,,,, life!! Had the guys out to get ride of termites on 8/24/23 and all those little critters bring to a home. Angel T , Jason P, and Pedro where on time, very professional and friendly. My elderly mother with Alzheimer's usually gets super anxious with strangers in the house. During our bathroom remodel, we noticed termite damage behind the vanity. I called multiple companies for an inspection and some of them did a cursory inspection and said we had subterranean termites. Joseph Guerra from MightyMite came in and did a very detailed inspection not only of the bathroom but of the entire home including the crawl space and attics. Joe noticed both subterranean and dry wood termites. He was the only inspector who took pictures of the crawl space/attic and showed us the damage. Our home is partly on a concrete slab and has crawl space too. Joe was very knowledgeable and he suggested different options to both treat the termite damage without tenting and do preventative treatment with a 5 year warranty. He patiently answered all my follow up questions through texts and gave us a very competitive quote. Like the Spanish Inquisition, no one expects termite infestation. Unfortunately, they paid me a visit in my roof and kitchen. On recommendation of a neighbor, I called MightyMite. During the initial inspection, Chris was courteous, answered all of my questions, and told me my options without any hard up-sell push. The next week Scott and Dakota were out and took care of the perimeter ground treatment and treatments for the roof/ceiling. Again, efficient and courteous service. On Friday, Sept. 15th Rudy and Mario showed up on time to my home for wood rot repair. Jorge and Rich later showed up to provide some assistance. There were 3 pieces of wood that need to be replaced. In the process of repair they pointed out to me 2 areas of concern. They replaced a damaged piece of plywood found under the tile and sealed the rain gutter that is attached to the replaced wood.
