Frigid ... cold ... even the bathroom was freezing cold. The regulars at the bar were all dressed in hoodies and scarves. The spinach pie, Reuben, and fries were very hot. For a restaurant to sell Greek food in PA the food was ok. I asked for tzatziki and was given a house dressing. (Wasn't bad but not what I asked for). The gyro could have used more seasonings and the fries didn't have any salt or seasoning. The quesadilla was very meaty and worth money. The spanakopita aka spinach pie was a little dry. While my gyro was yummy as usual , my husband's Reuben was awful. The overly salty "corned beef" was GREASY and was cut in thick slices from some sort of square loaf of meat. Add the cheese and grill the bread, and you end up with a slippery slimy mess that is impossible to eat. I used a debit card and someone added a $5 tip (unauthorized!!) I absolutely did not tip as it was a pick up order and the cashier did nothing to deserve a tip (except hand me the bag!) New location for M&T Gyros. Always some good food and many beers on tap. Stopped in to order take out and it smelled so good. The staff was wonderful and very outgoing and friendly. Solid 4 stars. Ordered take out, honestly was a complex order, lot of extra sauces, stuff on side, ranch, blue cheese. Anyway, the gyros mmm very good, they do not skimp on the meat or sauce or toppings. Chicken & lamb gyros were awesome. Very happy with that. The stuffed peppers, can't complain about anything there, hit the spot. Grape leaves = also hit the spot, not as fresh as I've had before but very good with a little wedge of lemon. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the wings man.. sooo overcooked, not burnt but just so very dry, chicken jerky basically. The cook should not have sent those out. We don't like to waste so we tried using the ranch,blue cheese, bbq sauce & tried to stomach them but just couldn't chew them enough, and our dog was not even having it, she would take it & drop it.. spoiled? Maybe but fat at heart & rarely doesn't eat something we give her. So in conclusion everything els is excellent here, maybe pass on the jerky chicken wings though. Mike and Tony's in Southside has always been the spot to go to for gyros. They've acquired new location in Bridgeville and the newly opened spot in Dormont. Walking distance from my house. We have been here several times since they opened simply because I can walk there. Food is great and even tho they get really busy they're always nice and friendly and my food is always ready in time. Gyros and potato skins are our usual order but the chicken gyro is great too. We had a fantastic dinner at Mike and Tony's last night in Moon Township! My mom got a cheeseburger- fantastic and huge! The service was fast and accurate, but that's about all that was good about this place. It's the new Mike and Tony's on Babcock in Ross Township. The gyro meat was dry as was the pita it was wrapped in. The gyro had very little tzatziki sauce. When we asked for more sauce, the server brought it and charged us $1, and it tasted like mayonnaise. The onion rings were first rate, hot and fresh, but the fries were skinny, wilted and tasteless. We will return to check the fish and chips, but our experience with the fries makes us skeptical of a good experience. Perhaps one of us will order onion rings instead so we have something good to go with the fish (assuming it's good). Prices are reasonable. read more

The food was good but the service was less than desirable. We went on a Saturday at 7pm and the music was so loud we had to scream to talk. We asked if the music could be turned down and the waiter was rude and said it was this loud for Saturday evenings. He went to the bar and told the other bartender and he came back and said they would turn it down a little but it was this loud on Saturdays and wouldn't turn down any further. There were a few other tables of people and no one at the bar. No reason why the music needed to be this loud. read more

I went there yesterday with my friend who had never been there before and my boyfriend who has also never been there before and we ordered $80 worth of food and alcoholic beverages and I asked the server Evan if I could have my Woodberry sangria a little bit sweeter than my friends was and he said with an attitude "I never heard anyone complain about the bartenders drinks before" and I said I'm not complaining about it just asked if she could add more flavoring to it and he said something to her and she screamed at me and was extremely unprofessional and rude and said " it's on tap so either you want it or you don't" and I yelled back at her yes I do want it and she embarrassed me in front of my friend who was visiting me from out of town and in front of my new boyfriend as well and other customers were inside the establishment when this all took place and I didn't tip Evan much because of how he and her were so unprofessional and very rude to me just because I asked for one simple request and i will never ever go back into this establishment or recommend it to anyone because of how i was treated just for asking a question and making a small request did not know the sangria was on tap but i sure as heck found out the hard way. First I just want to start this off by saying that I will never be eating at Mike & Tony's ever again first off I ordered a quesadilla and I told the bartender over-the-phone my order I paid $17 for a double meat quesadilla with no jalapenos I get the order and this thing is riddled with jalapenos I called the bartender who took my order any cop a huge attitude was completely unprofessional I'm not even upset that you order was wrong I'm more upset about the professionalism of your restaurant your employees have horrible worth ethics have bad attitudes and I will be telling this to everybody I know I for one will be never ever order or eat Mike & Tony's again I asked this bartender if I could be compensated for this messed up order he said absolutely not laughed in my face and I left horrible service read more
