Wellllll, I did some research and we found this place was 100% gluten-free. My wife has an intolerance and let me just tell you it did not disappoint!! We attended the Biltmore Park location! To start the night we grabbed a seat at the bar prior to our table being ready. Beautiful updates as I had previously been to the Italian restaurant it was before. I really like what they have done to the place. We started with a round of drinks at the bar, both mock tails and N/A beer. The mock tails were excellent! Bright and refreshing! Our dining experience started with Eric as our server. He had some great recommendations from the menu and explained everything to a T! We landed on the cheddar biscuits to start. The highlight on that plate was the whipped hot honey butter... it was fantastic. It had a pimento cheese taste. It took the biscuits up to another level. Truly you wouldn't know the biscuits didn't have gluten! Great texture and flavor alone. Rich with the butter and cheese flavor popping through! I think I could have eaten like 15 On to the 2 entrees, ricotta gnocchi for my lovely wife and grilled salmon for myself! Gnocchi was light and fluffy and had a perfect cheese mornay paired with it! My wife tasted, which resulted in a wonderful eye roll to show the beauty in the bite! The lobster just took it up a notch! I got a nibble and a nibble was all I was allowed, but it was a great bite! The Salmon was perfectly cooked and had some smokiness from the grill. It was on top of a bed of light quinoa, that was tossed with some cucumber and red onions! It was good on its own but I personally throughly enjoyed the nice taziki's sauce. It was light and creamy and had that nice yogurt flavor to enhance the dish. It was a nice, light well rounded dish! For dessert.... Oooh the chocolate tart! It was beautifully plated and beautifully executed! The dark chocolate stood out! It was nice and sweet but not overly sweet and had that dark chocolate bitterness. The salted caramel on top cut the bitterness from the chocolate! In all honesty the experience, the atmosphere, drinks, and food were top notch! I would recommend to everyone and anyone! I'd love to hear/see some not have any idea it's gluten free and see if they would notice! 10/10 will be back anytime we are in town! read more

Outstanding meal. Admittedly, this was a drive for us from up at Autocamp as we visited the area, but this location had reservation availability and the original location did not. I'm hard-pressed to think that the original would outplay its progeny at least on that evening. We're quite keen to recreate the Kale Salad at home, as this has to rank as my second favorite of all time (Sis-in-law still reigns). Paired with the roasted beet salad (beet tempura, roasted beet, champagne vinegar, Three Graces bondon, candied cashew), it was quite a starting match. All of this was coupled with a delish NA sparkling rose (1 of 2 options), which was a nice touch as too many places are in gap mode when it comes to NA sparkling or wines. The fish special is pan-seared (it was grouper that evening) and it completely won the night. Paired with a good helping of asparagus with fennel puree and a radish salad, it hit the spot. Our other choice was the Ricotta Gnocchi com lobster. Twas rich, that's for sure, and it would have been work to eat all of it, but all the flavors worked well together. Dessert was a true treat: Pistachio Cake coupled with light as air mascarpone over a splendid compote of strawberries. We smartly only ordered one for the two of us, as we'd have massacred a second one before the authorities would have been able to stop us. The service team is plentiful: we counted six different people came and served or supported us. Not sure if that's Asheville-style full employment or we just seemed like people who needed a lot of help, but we got to the point we needed to track names on a pad of paper. read more

First of all, yes, all of these pictures are from one single date night with my wife. Before you pass judgement, we should first be commended for ONLY getting 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts because it ALL looked so good! We came here for our anniversary. The staff welcomed us, wished us a happy anniversary, and seated us right away. We were delivered an anniversary card signed by the staff. Lindsey and Samantha took care of us and treated us like royalty. We were blown away. Then we look at the menu. My wife is a little disappointed since she is gluten free, and since there are no items marked "GF", she assumed she would have to order off a separate menu. Not so - Posana is entirely gluten-free! Knowing that, we struggled with what to order (see the first paragraph). Everything was unbelievably delicious, from the lobster gnocchi to the cheesecake to the small plates. In fact, this place was so good, we came back the next morning for brunch! Sadly, we ate our meal so quickly that I didn't get a picture of the fried chicken and biscuit (yes, gluten-free, though it doesn't taste like it) with gravy. i'm not done this place also has a special "dog menu," with items like chicken and rice, that your 4-legged friend can order. Overall, we felt like we were enjoying a 3-star dining experience. I have nothing to offer for improvement, it was incredible. This has made our list of "must-visit" now every time we come to Asheville! read more

We're big fans of Posana's downtown location and were excited to try the new Biltmore Park location. The restaurant and bar areas are spacious and beautiful with attractive decor and lighting. We reserved a table in the bar area and received excellent service from (Sophie or Chloe?) on her 3rd night. The food and wine menus have something for everyone but aren't overwhelming. We enjoyed our starter salad, entrees and dessert. We live closer to downtown but we look forward to visiting this location again as well. read more

We had a great time at posanas!! It's in a shopping center with tons of parking around plus dessert options like cold stone :) My top two items were the kale salad & chicken. Outside of that the gnocchi sauce was very yummy and the cheddar biscuits were quite tasty. I got the gemelli pasta with short rib plus pork belly and it was fine. I don't think I would get it again. My dad had the gnocchi which had a cheddar cream sauce and bits of lobster. The sauce was very yummy but gnocchi were kind of dense for my liking. Overall a cute spot with great service!! They were happy to replace my drink when I didn't like the mezcal cocktail. read more

Our first time at Posana. We will be coming back for more. 3 of us arrived on time for our 6:15 pm reservation made through OpenTable which required a credit card to hold our spot. Enjoyed looking at the lovely decor as we were led to our table. Felt like 80% occupied and yet remarkably quiet. The appetizers (Caesar salad and brussel sprouts) were both large servings which could be shared or brought home for another tasty meal. The beef short rib entree was perfectly cooked and went well with the mashed potatoes, dark gravy and veggies. I was able to finish half of it and brought home a wonderful portion for the next day. The salmon and wagu entrees were a generous size, tasty and no leftovers. Our server was excellent, thoughtful and packed our takeways. There is great value to be had both in the quality of the food and the a quantity that allows one to enjoy it again the next day. They have an outstanding wine list and display. We appreciated the unhurried approach to service. It gave us time to enjoy each bite and to socialize. I just had to add this pleasant surprise. We left the restaurant with two stylish doggie bags. Our leftovers were neatly placed in 3 cardboard white boxes. Our server labelled each box with its contents and sealed it with a decorative sticker. It was like opening a present the following day. The food was incredible! I've been gluten free for years and this was without a doubt the best gluten free meal I've eaten in any restaurant! Definitely order the hush puppies or cheddar biscuits! The pasta is made fresh in house and is incredible! Save room for dessert because the hummingbird cheesecake is phenomenal! Our server was so friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu! Once again, a beautiful flavorful meal. I usually get my favorite braised short rib, cooked to perfection. Last night I had the grilled Lamb loin again cooked to perfection. Also the to die for appetizer, Hoisin glazed spareribs. Unfortunately, the waitress suggested the ricotta corn hush puppies "horrible" will never order them again. The chocolate espresso cremeux, was a book end to our beautiful meal. Best part of last night was one of my waiters named Michael, from the Italian part of Switzerland. He suggested the Hoisin glazed ribs. I will definitely ask for him next time. Very professional informative and knowledgeable about how Posana came to be a gluten-free restaurant. Had dinner at Posana in Biltmore Park with a friend and had a great experience. We had 5:15 reservations and were seated immediately. Water was offered right away. Our server, Megan, was fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. Since it was our first visit, she took time to explain the menu, which we really appreciated. I ordered the zero-proof Citrus & Spice Mule (very tasty!), and they also have a full bar and great wine selection. We started with cheddar biscuits--good, but not a must-order for me. For my entrée, I had the ricotta gnocchi with lobster and white cheddar sauce, and it was excellent. If you like pasta and lobster, I highly recommend it. My friend ordered the grilled Scottish salmon, which was good, though the glazed baby carrots were a bit undercooked. The restaurant itself is beautiful with an amazing ambiance. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but the menu looked great. Overall, wonderful service and a lovely dining experience. Would definitely return! read more

Truly my new favorite restaurant!! My husband and I went for a date night, and when we asked if they had a gluten free bun for the burger, the server told us that the entire menu was secretly gluten free. Best surprise of our lives! This is the first restaurant we found that not only has amazing food, but one that we don't feel sick after eating there. We've been 3 times total and our favorites are the smash burger, the banana bread French toast (truly unreal!!!), the truffle frites, lobster gnocchi, and the cheddar biscuits. I also love their golden root "mocktail". The service is unmatched too! They go above and beyond to make sure you feel served and that you have everything you need. read more

Came in and immediately was greeted by all smiling hostess. We came in with no reservation and Fedora was able to accommodate my party of 4. Which I was super thankful since I came in right at dinner rush. The atmosphere is very cozy and luxurious. Perfect for a date night. Or any occasion that calls for great food and service. We started with a bunch of appetizers so we could sample a little bit of everything. Pork belly and the lobster gnocchi were outstanding. (A huge thanks to the kitchen for allowing an extra serving of lobster when I inquired about it!) Charles was attentive throughout our dining experience. Today I dined at Posana with my family, and it was truly the best meal I've had all year. The restaurant is absolutely stunning! Classy, elegant, and beautifully designed. Every detail in this new Biltmore Park gem feels intentional and flawless. We started the night by sharing the butternut hushpuppies (yum!), short rib poutine, and brussel sprouts--all incredible. I ordered the Gemelli pasta, which was absolutely delicious. My family enjoyed the pan-seared scallops, braised short rib, and ricotta lobster gnocchi, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. To finish, we shared a trio of desserts: cheesecake, tiramisu, and a chocolate tart. Each was rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. The service was wonderful from start to finish. We were immediately seated for our 7:30 dinner reservation and warmly welcomed by a smiling host Fedora. Our server introduced the food menu and digital wine list, offering helpful guidance and thoughtful drink suggestions. We started with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, served with great care and attention. The wine service throughout dinner was thoughtful and attentive, maybe even a bit too much! We were anticipating taking some bottle home, but our glasses were refilled before we even noticed it. Next time we may just mention our preference beforehand, but we loved the care and attention the wine service had. Beautiful and thin glasses as well! For appetizers, we enjoyed the miso mussels and poutine, both flavorful and satisfying. The Miso clams were amazing and by far out favorite dish of the night, very much enjoyed the bread, wish there was more! Our entrées, the Harissa Salmon and Ribeye, were beautifully prepared. the flavors left us wanting more, while the portions were perfectly balanced. We ended with the French Silk Pie, which was absolutely delicious, you'd never guess it was entirely gluten free! Beware! Lunch with friends and while service was above average, atmosphere was quite pleasant, and food was good. So why the bad review? Because when salivating over leftovers at home I found a 1" strand of metal pot-scrubber material. I don't believe I swallowed another, perhaps smaller, piece without noticing...I hope not as I'll likely end up in emergency room. We are very disappointed at this discovery. Our first time to Posana in Biltmore park. Had high expectations. Ambiance is welcoming and Service was good. The food was below average. I ordered the pasta ragu and it was pretty tasteless, nothing stand out on it. My wife ordered the salmon and the combination simple didn't work. Kids ordered from the kids menu, a plan pasta and a chicken nuggets with fries. Hard to get it wrong with chicken nuggets, but even that was tasteless. The chicken was juicy but tasted like paper. I really wanted to like it, but with so many other good options in Asheville I would probably not go back. read more
