Fresh ingredients, one of those ridiculously soft sub rolls that practically dissolves when you bite into it, and the pickled peppers on top were honestly some of the best I've had. It's a simple sandwich done exactly right. The cashier was friendly, our food came out quickly, and while the dining room wasn't packed, there was a steady stream of people coming in to grab takeout. That's usually a better endorsement than anything you'll read online. My only real gripe is the serving ware. Those flimsy little paper plates are in a constant battle against gravity, especially once you load them up, and those tiny diner napkins have somehow survived decades without anyone questioning them. It takes half the dispenser just to clean up after a slice of pizza. 1st experience was mediocre at best, but tonight was my last attempt. I always try to give good reviews but sometimes you just can't. I walked in at 8:28 they close at 9. Blonde girl sitting on the counter on her phone asked if I was picking up and I said no I need to order. Silently she just walks away. Appears next woman and asks what I'd like but no pizza or fried and no grill. Leaves one with limited choices. She told me they close in 10 minutes and I pointed out the time. She shrugs and I left. Food - ordered 3 large pizzas. Cheese, pepperoni, sausage and onion. All of them were cooked quickly and all were yummy. Sausage was sliced thin with a generous helping of onions covering the pizza. The crust is light and crispy and the sauce is your standard red tomato pizza sauce. The place is right on the main road and easy travel in and out. Walking in, we were starving and were met with a large menu more like a deli versus a pizza place- more sandwiches and other italian eats versus pizza. The pizza they have is not in a case, with several different types of slices that I am always used to. Stopped by for a Roni slice after a workout at CCFC. I grew up on the North Shore so admitedly never saw greek pizza until I was in my 20's. While it will never beat thin crust in my opinion there are some solid variants. Mike's version was not in that category. The crust wasn's ask crispy and it had way too much cheese. The cheese also had a consistency that didn't allow it to fully melt. Also, it's peperoni, so expect a little grease but this think could have an oil rig on this thing. Very clean place and I'm sure a nice family run business. If you're looking for value and want cheap food for the kids, you'll love it. We were vacationing on the Cape last week and decided to check this place out. We got a large cheese pizza and a ceasar salad and my husband and daughter both really enjoyed both. The pizza reminded them of their favorite pizza place at home, except they said this pizza was even better! My husbad commented that the ceasar dressing was really good so not sure if it's homemade. I walked in and placed the order and waited about 10 mins for it. Staff was friendly. I was not hungry so did not order anything but I was so happy to see they offer gluten free pizza (THANK YOU!!). We've been looking for a good pizza joint around Hyannis for years. YEARS! 3 years ago, we finally stopped in and tried Mike's (been driving by it the whole time). WHAT A HIDDEN GEM!!! We've tried much of the menu, and been very happy with every single item. Everything is fresh and delicious!! Fantastic pizza (really, really good!!), but the sandwiches, dinners and salads have all been great, and the staff is super friendly. This reads like a planted review, but it is not. ordered a large linguica pizza tonight, got it home and took a bite just to find out the linguica was bad, it was brown and hade a very moldy like taste. I called Mikes back to let them know i was displeased and wanted a my money back as i was no longer hungry for their food!!!! The counter person tells me that its a new brand of linguica and it taste differently. in my 40 years of eating linguica ive never seen it turn brown when cooked it always holds its reddish color and not to mention it did not taste like linguica!!!!! so much for taking responsibility for bad service maybe a call to the B.O.H will change their mind and attitude towards customers read more
