While staying in West Yarmouth during a summer trip my friend and I stumbled upon Pizza Lab. It easily was the most talked about stop our entire trip lol we dreamed of returning but our travels took us elsewhere but we will be back. I loved the open atmosphere yet intimate. The ability to sit and watch your pizza being made, watching it cook in the ovens and get finished off by the amazing chefs. This place is not to be missed. We walked in on a Sunday night at 6p with it a reservation and thankfully a quiet night allows us to be seated right away. Friendly attentive server! read more

Best pizza I had on the cape. Read the bad reviews, they even admit the pizza is excellent. A trendy and hip pizza place for adults to escape to. After being on the cape for a month, you get tired of the same old fare and food. This place was more cutting edge and would not be somewhere to take your kids to. Sure getting take out is fine. This is Neapolitan style pizza, very doughy and a little bit of a burnt crust. Some people aren't fans of this style, but it is certainly my favorite. We asked them which pizza we should get and at their suggestion they made us a half quattro formagio and half Calabria pizza. We also had their Mediterranean salad. All were very good and had amazing quality ingredients. It was also fun to watch them make the pizza right there in front of you. This is good for a small group or a date. Something fun new and hip to enjoy. Certainly the beet place we had pizza on the cape. Bottom line go if you are into Neapolitan style pizza and a trendy atmosphere. read more

Three of us went for dinner and got a cheese and a pepperoni pizza along with the Mediterranean salad - all were very good, didn't feel like we waited too long for the food on a Saturday night. I did think the food was quite salty (it still tasted good) so if you have to watch your salt intake, just be aware. There are a few individual tables and mostly communal tables/bar seats. Parking was tight. Waitstaff was nice and efficient. Would definitely go back. read more

Really disappointing experience. We had a reservation for Friday night at 6:30. We showed up at 6:15 and they seemed confused that we had a reservation. There were three tables total and the rest was bar seating. One of the tables had just started their meal and another was finishing up, but they sat us at the bar temporarily. We weren't pleased since there were 3 of us and we couldn't see each other from where we were sat. The manager came up to us and said "you're good at the bar, right? We have a big party coming in and need the table." We were annoyed, but figured it was fine. By 6:40, no one had even come to take drink orders. There were two waiters and we asked one of them if they could get us three diet cokes. Another five minutes go by and no one even speaks to us, even though we're sat directly next to the POS where they put in all the orders. I pulled the manager aside just to give him some feedback as to how disappointing our experience had been, and he was annoyed that we were even speaking to him. He kept interrupting me with asking "did you want a table or not?" After that, we left. Wouldn't recommend coming to this place. read more

The food here is absolutely delicious. There's fantastic drinks being made at the bar and the wines by the glass I've tried have all been really good with everything on the menu. In the three times I've visited, I can say that the service is consistently improving and the most recent experience was by far the best. The artwork on the walls and the bar style seating at both the pizza station and the bar where the drinks are prepared create a very cool vibe. It's a place to enjoy beautiful food and drinks with a hot date or some good friends. I'm looking forward to enjoying this spot as much as I can while the Cape is still quiet. Have driven by this restaurant 100 times and last night we had the chance to try it. I must say it was amazing. This little eatery has such an amazing vibe. You don't even know you're on Cape Cod. We had the meatball appetizer, and the eggplant lasagna they're both amazing. We tried three different pizzas. Each one was better than the next. Oh by the way, we tried some of their signature cocktails that were outstanding will definitely be going back. Just be aware. It's a very small space and seating is very limited only a couple tables, and the majority of the seating is at the bar or around the area where they make the pizza. But overall five stars thumbs up service was great and food was better. read more

I'll begin by saying that the food is very good. We had the eggplant parm, meatballs and salad- all excellent. We ordered a pizza and it was never clear who dropped the ball but it didn't arrive until we were already done with our meal so we cancelled it. Now for the negative side. It took our waiter 10 minutes to take a drink order and another 10-15 minutes before they were served. Very good but small and pricey. My husband ordered a second drink which hadn't arrived by the time our food came so he cancelled it and opted for wine with dinner, which arrived 15 minutes later- we were halfway through our meal at that point. I don't know who the manager is or if he/she is on-site but there needs to be better oversight of the wait staff- our server was just plain bad. No other way to say it. Again, food is good but there are other local options (Pizza Barbone and Crisp) that are just as good but with much better service. All in all, it was a frustrating and expensive experience. We don't mind spending money but not when the service is sub-par. We won't return. read more

Bottom line up front: good pizza, terrible service, smallish place Made a reservation, which is typically easy. Pizza Lab uses some Google assistant deal so we kept having to check in to see if the reservation was confirmed. Caused us to be 10-min late as it was never clear that the system worked. Parking is very limited and competes with their parent restaurant next door. Inside is interesting, filled with murals and bar style seating around food prep areas. Very few actual tables. Very crammed and tough to walk around. On the loud side too. Sat right away, wasn't terribly busy at 630 on a Saturday, but was probably 80% capacity when we left. Tough seating. We had 3 small tables for a party of seven. Was plenty of room, but no one could navigate the tables. The servers seem to always be in each other's way or some other guest crossing paths. Rough layout Drinks took 25-minutes. Two were not good, intended to be the same, but tasted nothing like the other, third drink was not enjoyed, last was a beer that the server spilled on the table... and then proceeded to try and top off. Have never been in so we had a lot of questions. We led with hard ones like what type of olive was on a salad. Waiter said he didn't know but maybe Italians ones Asked how big the pizza was and told 12" and they serve one. Asked how the wings were and which the waiter recommended, and he replied is was just up to us to what we liked. We were very pressed to order one pizza each, which was rather annoying. We ended up getting four for seven people and took 3/4 of one home. Menu is somewhat limited, which I take no exception to. I strongly believe restaurants should do fewer things and do them well. The menu was uninteresting to us. None of the salads were particularly inventive or sounded like they had high quality ingredients. Apps were linked to a few things like wings and meatballs. And there were a few non-pizza entrees. Pizzas came out quick. Tried cheese, pepperoni and a meaty one. All very good. We all really enjoyed the dough too. Had better luck getter water in the desert. And served in tiny glasses to boot. After asking several times, including if they could just leave a pitcher with us, we were told there were only two pitchers for water in the whole restaurant and that the waiter "will be more present". He wasn't. There was a plate of pizza toppings on the table with cheese, hot pepper, oil and seasoning. We asked for more than the tiny ramekin of cheese, and the waiter seemed to believe that one tablespoon of cheese should satisfy the table of seven. Waiter forgot to charge for a drink, and after presenting the check he took it back and corrected it. Kinda odd. Few desserts sounded good, but we were pretty annoyed with the service, and no manager ever presented, so we left to have dessert elsewhere. Pizza cost average $~22 so is on the expensive side, but they were good. Too expensive for take out and there are plenty of much better established places for a complete meal. Service was abysmal. It would be hard to want to go back. Three stars is a rounding error on the high side. read more

Please, use less salt! I love the ambiance, the service, and the menu. I love the staff and the view of the pizza makers at work. What I don't love is how totally SALTY the pizza is. The toppings are already salty: cheese, meats etc. But your sauce is salty and even the crust has more salt than most breads. When I taste such dishes in a restaurant, my first question is, "Is the chef a smoker?" Because those who smoke often don't accurately taste their food. Even the salad we ordered was too salty. This is NOT good for your customers' health. read more

Pizza was excellent. However- Told order would take 20 minutes over the phone. Showed up at 15 minutes. A family was ahead of me obviously wanting a table. Took over 5 minutes for a server to come talk to them. Another 3-5 minutes later I was attended to. Whilst I'm holding my credit card prominently in effort to signal the staff I'm here for take out. Couple more minutes and my pizza was found under 3 other to go pizzas. It tasted great but had obviously been sitting for at least 10 minutes before I got there. I will go back, but I will order to go there and wait to see my pizza come out the oven. Food was good but don't tell me it will be ready in 20 minutes when it is actually ready in 5 and sits on the counter for 15 more. read more

High quality interesting flavors. This is the best pizza I've had on the Cape. They haven't been open long but are already attracting a following and well justified. Great food and lovely ambiance. Can't speak to service as I mostly get take away. read more

Best pizza on Cape Cod!! Nothing else is even close. Great crust and toppings! We get pizza there about twice a week.
