Bompa's has got some major upgrades over the years and looks great. Food is awesome, free pool table play, rad history, nostalgic ambiance, great service and cozy outdoor seating right on Mainstreet. Come for the vibes/brews and always leave with a smile:)

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Leavenworth. Cool little bar with a lot of different sandwiches. We got the Cuban and outlaw. Both were delicious. The pretzel and beer cheese sauce was equally as delicious . They have a bunch of funny signs on the wall as well. This was a great lunch spot! Side note: the sandwiches were even better leftovers!

3.5 rounded up We're driving through Cle Elum on our way to Wenatchee and needed a stretch and lunch. Rustic hole in the wall type tavern. We liked it! No hard liquor - just beer, wine and sodas. Required ID for our "baby faced" 25 year old daughter even though we weren't drinking. That's not the norm for us - usually only needed if you're drinking - but not a problem at all. I like that they're on top of that. Randy and I shared the special which was a grilled chicken blt with a small side of potato salad. Our daughter got meatballs. The food was ok. No interesting takes on casual fair. The meatballs were like what I ate for school lunches when I was a kid so only meh. The sandwich and potato salad was about what you'd expect. What makes me round up for my review was the customer service. Both ladies - the one behind the bar as well as the one making the food - were very friendly and gave good customer service. And the place is so rustic cute. Clean bathrooms. Clean bar where we sat. Very good service.

Years ago (about 30), I remember Mike's Tavern. It was dark and uninviting to the passerby. But now, I was impressed! People were sitting outside in the little fenced in sidewalk area laughing and enjoying each other's company. Very inviting and as luck would have it, there was a small table open and waiting for us to join in the fun. The food was good! Not the typical bar food either. I had a quesadilla and my hubby had the gyro. Yummy! (See pics) Later that evening as we drove by, there was a big fire pit and music that certainly enticed people to come and enjoy this little slice of fun.

A group (4) stopped into Mike's for a brew while visiting Cle Elum. Free street parking can be found. Mike's is a cash only establishment. Mike's offers a couple outdoor tables in the front and a much larger outdoor seating area in the back. Mike's is following all the Covid19 safety guidelines that are currently in place: spaced tables, shower curtains between tables, max grouping of 5 people and placed hand sanitizer. The staff members were wearing the required PPE correctly. The staff was also diligently wiping areas down in order to maintain a germ free establishment. Mike's offers a nice selection of local craft beer. During our visit we all sipped on a couple beers for $5 each. The beers were served in plastic cups rather than glass pints. I'm not a fan of plastic cups. Overall, Mike's offers a safe and sanitary place to have a reasonable priced beer served by friendly staff. I look forward to stopping into Mike's the next time we're passing through Cle Elum.

Great stop driving down from Leavenworth. Cozy seating area outside and puppy friendly patio. Several craft local beers to taste. The sandwiches are tasty and homemade. We love supporting local businesses.

We always thought this place only served drinks. But it also has some really delicious food too. Mike's is super clean restaurant/pub that has delicious sandwiches, quesadillas, etc. I had the classic grinder (ham, cheese, Italian dressing, Mayo, Pepperoncinis, olives) and it was spectacular. Great bread; great flavor. My partner had the Cuban and it was equally delicious. Potato salad gets 5 stars too for great flavor and consistency. Mike's has some great local beers on tap too. Overall a great experience.

This quaint place offers a small area of outdoor seating and was the perfect place to grab some food and a a cold cider after a backpacking trip. Great cider and the grinders were pretty good. I wish they offered French fries! :( Good food, friendly service, and worth a stop in!

The hostess who sat us was so sweet and our server did a great job walking us through how they handle allergies. The even have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items! We got to the restaurant between breakfast and lunch. I absolutely recommend everything! My kiddo got a burger and fries that he loved, I got the corned beef hash skillet, my mother-in-law got the fish and chips. The fish and chips were amazing! Huge portions of fish dipped in a light, airy batter. The rest of our party got burgers and highly recommended the truffle fries. We didn't partake in any of their drinks but they had a great menu of options, we will absolutely be back.

Honestly, if your establishment holds 10 or 100 people, the staff and kitchen should be able to manage that number. We saw one table actually leave after waiting longer than us without their food because they had somewhere else to be. Not great. Once the food finally arrived we were so hungry that I'm certain anything would have tasted good. We didn't complain or ask but they did remove one soda from the tab. It's a cute place with a decent menu but I'm on the fence about bothering to give them another try.

This place is bookstore/coffeehouse/restaurant/bar in the cute little town of Roslyn…read more I wandered in around 4:30pm. I checked out the bookstore part first. They have a cool selection of books, and a lot of gift type things like tea, stuffed animals, bookmarks, art supplies, etc. I noticed the dinner menu and decided a cheeseburger sounded good. I ordered the Basecamp cheeseburger with bacon and a side salad. You can apparently order food upstairs and then sit upstairs or downstairs (or outside, I think). They have table service as well, after 4pm. Service was very friendly and patient. I decided to eat downstairs, and there was a cozy bar and large seating area. My burger soon arrived and it was delicious! A great toasted bun and a wonderfully substantial and beefy patty. The cheese was rich and gooey. Great, yummy combination of flavors. The salad was good too, with a nice ranch dressing on the side. A cool place that made me feel welcome and served up a great burger.

She mentioned some of the art wall and cute spot behind the shop. I would definitely go back if I am in the area again.
