Recently moved to Rochelle Park and found the best pizza around. I was brought up in NY and enjoy good pizza. This place is just like what I was used to in NY.Pizza is nice and thin and crispy with the right amount of cheese. Sauce is good. Dough is firm doesn't droop and doesn't drip with oil. The people who work there are very friendly and polite. Highly recommend the fresh garlic pizza. And highly recommend Milan's pizza. Parking is rough,though. read more

I'm rating this place based off of one thing alone. I wanted to order two plain pies and asked does a beverage come with the order. I was told no and for a fixed price they would throw in a two liter soda. They tried charging me $6 for a two liter soda????? Even on their online menu they sell a two liter for $3.95. It should probably have been a red flag to me when I walked in this Pizzeria and the owner is sitting at a table. No business happening at all, it was 4:30 in the afternoon , so maybe too early for the dinner rush? But I have been in other pizzerias during off hours still doing brisk business. Had 2 Specialty slices, it came to $7. One was barbecue chicken, the other was chicken parmesan. The barbecue was just okay, but the chicken parm was the real disappointment, the sauce was substandard. The sauce is the lifeblood of a pizza , if that's not good then that's a pretty good indicator other things will not be quality, in my opinion. My eggplant was over cooked more breading than eggplant with dry barely there sauce pasta had to use some if the sauce from mussels to put on my pasta. Chicken parm was not a favorite with my boy. Garlic knots also were a miss. Maybe it was a bad busy night I'm not sure. But the only thing we did enjoy were the mussels. :-( read more

Food is good. Nothing to write home about though. Doesn't have have a large selection of Pre made pizza slices to choose from. Had a severely undercooked "chicken roll" once. Chicken was fine, but the dough was not fully cooked. Had to have them cook it longer. Marinara sauce is very good! Facility is clean and the staff seems nice. Decent little pizza spot. Despite instructing the order taker when I ordered the tuna salad to not put any olives in the salad I received the salad with a handful of olive slices underneath the tuna salad. The menu item, tuna salad, is deceiving because it does not mention any olives. Obviously the salad with olive slices is prepared earlier. We ordered a large onion half white pizza, mussels and chicken parm sandwich. The pizza was only plain pizza when delivered. Chicken parm sandwich looked like the driver sat on it. The mussels were tasty. The lady on the phone said it will be a half hour and we waited over an hour. The place is only 4 minutes down the road. With regards to delivery and pick-up orders Mr Bruno's is very prompt. Each time I've called in a lunch order I've waited no longer than 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready - which is a huge plus especially when you're hungry! I will order from them a couple times per week depending on whether I prepare my own lunch or not that day. My favorites so far include the sauteed broccoli rabe and the fresh mozzarella and roasted red pepper salad. Both very fresh and delicious especially if you're not looking to eat anything fried in the middle of the day. We have also catered in some lunches at our office and they do not cheap out on the chicken when requested on a salad - the entire salad is actually covered in chicken strips and you have to dig in to get to the lettuce. You definitely get your money's worth at Mr. Bruno's and will leave feeling extremely satisfied (without the grease)! read more

Family owned small pizza place. We moved here from the southeast and asked our doorman for a good pizza place, and he recommended Mr. Bruno's. There are a couple, and we've only used the one in Rochelle Park. It is SOOOOO GOOOD. We normally get the same thing - Buffalo Chicken wrap and Sicilian Pizza - thats just what our doorman recommended. We haven't even tried another pizza place around here, so keep that in mind, but it's only because we don't need to! Anytime we get this it's a real treat. Never had a problem with delivery or getting an order right, except once they forgot the soda but the driver was back in minutes with it. Ordered eggplant parm-go pick up again cold out get home open container TONS of cheese over what is shell of circles, dry, nasty bread no eggplant to be seen. Ordered delivery for the first time here and will definitely be trying again! I ordered a vodka pizza w grilled chicken & mozz, and it was mouth watering! Only downside, the delivery driver was extremely rude & I was kinda mad I had already gave him a $5 tip before the actual delivery- I live in an apartment building and it's the only one on my street, he called and "couldn't find it" and then he complained about no parking yet he could have just pulled into the huge driveway around my building, told him I was the first floor & to the left, instead of parking and walking up he made ME go outside and walk into the street to his car.. The first time I went there I ordered a large grilled chicken Caesar salad, what I received was a large container with barely any lettuce, a dinky little piece of chicken and a ton of b.olives. I was very dissatisfied especially with the price being 10 dollars and something cents. I went again because it is right next to the place where I get my nails done and this time I ordered a small hoping that they would at least fill up the small container with lettuce. Once again very dissatisfied. There was barley any lettuce or chicken and a ton of croutons. It was not worth 8.03. I will not be going back there, which is unfortunate because it is so convenient to where I work. Hopefully they read these comments and either change the prices or fill up the container. read more
