    Cioppino and chicken piccata
    Cheryl G.

Went to Milano's on Main Street after hearing they opened a second restaurant. We sat at the bar and had an excellent bartender. He offered bread right when we got our drinks which we accepted. Very attentive and personable. Love the decor. Italian music was playing at a good volume, not too loud and not too soft. The TVs at the bar were playing The Godfather movies. Their menu isn't expansive, but there's enough on there for everyone. My husband had the cioppino and I had the chicken piccata. Mine came with pasta but the cioppino did not, if you wanted it over pasta, it was an up charge. My husband's chipping was loaded with shellfish and my piccata was very flavorful. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing dinner! Amazing service! 5 stars for both. However, I decided to get dessert to go and was sent home with the stalest piece of what was supposed to be a chocolate torte. It was disgustingly inedible. So disappointed after such an incredible dinner. I'm guessing that the slice was sitting alone in the fridge for a while to be as petrified as it was.

We stumbled upon this restaurant this evening as we parked in back. And we LOVE it! We will be back every year - maybe again tomorrow. Shrimp Cocktail was amazing! Chicken Piccata & Chicken Marsala were delicious! Ended our evening with a creme brûlée Martini OMG!!! Great ambience - excellent Food & Service!

Just get the cioppino and a bottle of Etna Rosso and you're good to go! Great staff. On or off season. Great ambiance as well. Old school

Overpriced - overhyped and the meatballs were nothing to write home about. It's a very tiny place.

When I couldn't decide on a cocktail, Sandra readily recommended the Grapefruit Martini -- it was delicious and totally the right call, Hubby's Tito's Cosmo was also well-made. For dinner, Hubby had the Chicken Parm - it was enormous and delicious, chicken was cooked well and the homemade pasta was a perfect al dente. The sauce was very good, but there was too much cheese for his taste, an easy fix to move to the side. There was plenty to take home for a second meal so it was an even better value. I chose the Spinach Salad, which was fresh and tasty with artichokes and goat cheese. Again, it was a generous portion for a very good price. We rarely indulge in dessert but we were convinced to try the homemade Tiramisu and it was amazing, just the way I make it myself. It's very hard to find a Tiramisu that is so authentic. We absolutely recommend Tumi, based on our experience it would be had to make a bad decision from their menu.

We got complimentary bruschetta that is toasted well and delicious. Tried the tuna ceviche for the first time. The lime juice gave it good flavor and was a good appetizer. The lobster risotto was delicious, the rice packed a ton of flavor and the grilled half lobster has a nice slight char flavor.

The restaurant was uncomfortably hot, we would have been better off eating outside with the breeze. The food was subpar at best. The mashed potatoes were so salty, first time we haven't finished a portion. The pizza was soggy, with spongey crust. The baked stuff shrimp was good, but came out cold. I wish the menu stated it wasn't traditional baked stuffed shrimp. It had a sauce on it. One thing they did well was the chicken parm, it was delicious. Our server was friendly as was the hostess. The ambiance and atmosphere was that of an upscale Italian restaurant.

The food was truly the highlight beautifully presented, incredibly creative, and made with outstanding quality ingredients. This is absolutely a restaurant we'll be returning to again and again. The meal impressed me so much that I asked if the chef could come out so I could personally thank him. Although he was busy in the kitchen, I was told he'd be happy to come out during the off-season, which I thought was a thoughtful and gracious gesture. An outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

We visited Leonessa in 2023 however. We always consider this meal one of the top 5 best meals we ever had, maybe even the best. It may have been perfect timing paired with the kitchen and staff being top notch or just the way the world was spinning that night but it was 10/10. The polenta fries with the truffle aiola was a great pairing with the amatriciana we got for starters. The pork chop is one of the two best pork chops I ever had. I typical order a pork chop when dining out so I have a good list of places to order one and this one sits at the top. My Wife ordered the roasted chicken. Chicken can sometimes be just, chicken. Well, when done correctly it can be a lot more. Best chicken dish my Wife has ordered although, we do tend to stay away from ordering basic chicken dishes. However, it was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The service was 10/10 and all of their recommendations were spot on, including the wine.

It was a beautiful day outside so we decided to sit at the outdoor bar. We ordered drinks and we decided to split the chicken finger appetizer. There was an option to toss them in lemon sauce or buffalo for an extra $2 or so, and I kindly asked the bartender if we could do half and half. I even offered to pay for both sauces, but he said they couldn't do it. I am not sure why, but it was a bit odd to me. Regardless, when the chicken fingers came out I was shocked. They were basically boneless chicken wings, they were tiny! $18 for 6 of the tiniest tenders I've ever seen. The chicken fingers were decently tasty, but the portion to price was a bit ridiculous. We were still very hungry when we left.
