Fig and prosciutto cauliflower crust "pizza"

Honestly, the food isn't bad but to pay $33 for a cauliflower crust pizza is a joke. The pizza is made for a tiny human and this shouldn't even be called a pizza because it is a flatbread. It is literally 2mm thick crust. Why am I paying more for 4x less pizza than a regular?

Torino creates a festive vibe in downtown Hyannis. They were playing music on their outdoor patio that made us stop by for drinks and apps. The drinks have interesting names but the one I had was basically a pina colada. Hubby got a Moscow Mule. Both drinks were good but I couldn't understand why the pins colada was served in a plastic cup while the Moscow mule was in a traditional mug. We for the bruschetta and an eggplant appetizer in a mozzarella sauce. Both were flavorful and very generous portions. Friendly service. Would definitely go again on future Cape trips.

"In a nutshell "STF" sub par tourist food! This restaurant looked great from the sidewalk. Outdoor seating on a pretty patio area and a solo guitarist. Ughh so disappointing though. After walking through town and checking out the boutiques we decided to stop in to grab dinner before heading back to our Air B&B. This was a Thursday evening around 6, just before the downtown area got busy. We were sat promptly and a waiter took our drink order. Drinks came within 10 minutes and we placed our order- an appetizer of calamari, a salad with grilled shrimp for me and risotto and scallops for my husband. We waited 22 minutes for our app. The calamari was very good though I do think the portion was a bit skimpy. The cocktail sauce tasted like it came from a jar which was disappointing. The presentation of the dish was fairly lackluster. The apps and the entrees are delivered by two different people but neither are your original waiter. Our meal arrived about 15 minutes after our apps. The salad was arugula with slices of oranges and fresh tomatoes along with the grilled shrimp. The tomatoes were amazing and the shrimp were just ok. I didn't find them overly amazing but they were decent. Decent as I'm not much different than a neighborhood cookout. My husband's risotto was bland and slightly undercooked. The scallops looked about as good as they tasted and I can tell you that they did not look all that good. Presentation was not great, and the scallops were just so -so. They did not have a sear which is fine but they also didn't have that fresh sautéed feel, taste or look to them. Just meh. Our waiter checked on us about three quarters of the way into our meal. We never saw him again and had to ask another server to track him down to get our check. Our meal with a high noon and a beer was $110. Honestly I wasn't impressed in the slightest by the food or the service. This seemed more like an establishment in a great location but that's about it. I can also say that the inside seating for the restaurant was empty. By the time we got our meal the downtown area started to get busy and 90% of the foot traffic walked right past Torino's without stopping. There was a pizza place down the street that was super busy. But it seemed that most of the traffic passing by Torino's had to go boxes. Unfortunately I'm not sure which restaurant they were coming from. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and I won't be giving it a second chance. For the money it wasn't worth it. I also can't stomach paying $10 for a single can of high noon. It's high noon. But I'm all fairness I do expect tourist prices so I wasn't overly surprised.

You guys accommodated a 35 person party after a miscommunication and made our girls' night thank you!!

    Torino salad

Shared a Torino salad with a variety of greens, burrata cheese, and tasty raspberry dressing. Also shared a shrimp scampi pizza. Loved the taste. It had the flakiest crust I've ever had on a pizza. Great service we ate inside but there is a fantastic outdoor section.

Service: went for lunch just after 2 PM. We were seated outside on the patio. Our server immediately brought us our water and came back in minutes to take our order. We were very pleased with how fast we received our order. Food: we had 4 people in our party. We ordered lobster rolls, Cape Cod Clam Chowder, Calamari, and mussels. Everything tasted great. My wife thoroughly enjoyed everything that we ordered. It was her first time trying the mussels and she was well pleased. The lobster rolls were completely stuffed with lobster. They were market price. They loaded the rules with Lobster. Ambiance: Outside on the patio with sun and 67 degrees. Absolutely perfect. The restrooms were clean as well as the patio in the inside eating area. My brother and sister-in-law agreed with our assessment. The food was great and the price reasonable for the quality we received.

The outside of this establishment was hoping. I wasn't sure if the inside was open or not. I wasn't offered a menu but assumed the kitchen was closed. It was quiet inside with only a few people dining. It was my first stop of the evening and decided to just grab a beer. My draft beer landed in a clear plastic cup while everyone else had a glass. $9 for a domestic draft beer was a bit much for lack of service and being treated as though I was a college student like the ones outside where the younger crowd was. People were almost begging for menus, I know it was end of the season, however customer service doesn't stop till the restaurant is closed. Inattentive, slow and sloppy. Not what I expected for the price.

The restaurant looked nice. I just expected more based on the look. The outside was nice and the inside was pretty as well. The food was good not great.

Sooo yum!! Highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese. I usually don't love mac and cheese that isn't fake lol but this was definitely not fake cheese and so so delicious almost a little sweet and FILLED with lobster! My boyfriend also loved his dish which was the seafood sambuca. In fact we came to this restaurant 2 years ago and he had the same thing and hasn't stopped thinking about it since which is why it was first on our list for our weekend trip!

Cioppino was spot on. As was the crispy calamari and a pan seared halibut special. So good. Then I found out about Sunday brunch!! Chicken and waffles! Egg frittata. Everything was amazing. Let me start by saying that they make some of the BEST fried calamari I have had (and I have eaten my weight and hubbys weight in fried calamari in a lifetime!). Their wine list is impressive as are their poisons on the wall of thirst. Service is LOVELY, absolutely LOVELY. And then comes dinner. Old school italo-american, classic mom and pop food. Nothing wrong with that, but it better be better than my own or others (Such as Colombo down the road). My husband ordered the bolognese with their home-made parppadelle. The bolognese needed a couple more (a lot more hours) to cook down, was very acidic and was lacking the punch of creaminess you get from breaking it down with ... MILK... We had high hopes, but the pasta was overcooked and a bit gummy. I had the veal picatta. Veal nice and tender, soggy but tender. The sauce confused me because it was heavy handed on the rosemary. Rosemary overload can be offensive, and while it didn't get there, it almost did. Garlic to a FAULT (yay, thats a GOOD thing), but the capellini pasta was way overcooked, almost baby food consistency on the chew. IM SO SORRY!!!!!!! I wanted to love it, because their focaccia was superb! I have a feeling that maybe a sandwich on that bread would be GREAT for a lunch. Portions are generous, so they are good for sharing or take home. Unfortunately, I tossed the pasta and made a sandwich with the left over veal - yea it was good. The staff is WONDERFUL and are very proud of what they do. So at least come in for appetizers and some really good drinks or a nice glass of wine!

They also have a "specials" menu; and we selected two dishes from it last night. Our server was Carla, who was outstanding. Also, "off season", the restaurant offers a 3 course fixed price menu that is excellent. Our server was great, super attentive, and checked in with us multiple times. We started with the calamari, which were deliciously fried, and tasty. For a main course, I had pasta with Alfredo sauce and lobster - it was really good. My mom had the flounder francaise, which was lightly breaded, topped with shrimp, and had a creamy limoncello sauce. We really enjoyed the meal, and will be back to try more of the menu!

Outdoor and indoor seating, great lively atmosphere and parking. The food smelled great and there was a wide variety in the menu. Sliced pepperoni in the dish. I was caught off guard and had to pick them out as I prefer my own hand at chili flakes if needed. The server was a pro. Colombo's is a somewhat decent restaurant…read more The food was in no way bad, but it just didn't blow my mind. I ordered the Shrimp FraDiavolo. It came with Squid Ink linguine, I decided to pass on that and have regular linguine instead. They advertised it as spicy, but it barely had any spice in it. I've had far more spicy sauces at chains such as Olive Garden. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and they definitely didn't skimp on the portions. The Shrimp also was cooked perfectly. The food was steaming hot when it hit the table, which was great to see. Overall, it's a nice clean restaurant with very nice staff. But the 2.5% bill increase for using a debit/credit card is definitely a negative. It's 2026, most people don't use cash anymore. It's a one and done for me. The prices were a bit too high in my opinion. I don't think I'll return, but I think it's worth trying if you're on the Cape for a vacation.
