Some people enjoy their St. Patrick's day going out and getting crazy. Me, I craved something calmer and more up my alley, which is why I spent the drinking holiday at Mili Wine Bar. Arrived at around 8pm and was greeted to a nice quiet wine bar. It was lovely in there too. Low lights and a chill environment will always have my heart. Wine selection was great! I had a few glasses recommended by the bartender and they were great. The food was incredible! We got: Beet Salad - delicious and perfectly chopped beets with arugula on top of a yummy sauce Meatballs - Topped with cheese and served with delicious bread (MY FAVORITE) Caviar - totally yummy, served with creme fraiche and some warm blini's. Super good! Loved my little time over at Mili wine bar! It was great being able to sit, sip, and enjoy.

This wine bar is such a cute spot for any occasion. The space is spotless, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff is truly beyond helpful. I had dinner plans afterward so I only enjoyed wine this time, but the food menu sounded so good I already can't wait to come back and try it. It's also a great place to bring your laptop, have a snack, and enjoy a glass of wine without feeling rushed. Plus, the location is perfect. I'll absolutely be back!

I was in another store and met the lady that works here. I decided to stop by one evening solo. I was greeted as soon as I came in and was given a menu. I asked for recommendations on food and wine pairing. Most of the wines were in the dry side and I like a wine with a little sweetness too it. I was given a taste of several options before I decided. The place is very clean, well lit and had a nice set up. I went with the Chenin Blanc and deviled eggs with paired very well together. The deviled eggs were delicious and I would go back just for them.

Randomly discovered Mili via Yelp while trying to find somewhere to grab a drink near where we parked. It is located on Folsom at the corner of Spear, about a block off the Embarcadero. Mili is relatively small, with around 4 tables, a couple bar-style window seats, and room for ~12 people between all bar seating. There seemed to be a good mix of regulars and people coming in for the first time. I overheard multiple people ask the person working about another one of the staff that's usually there. The menu wasn't huge, but had some quality wines! They had 8 White & Rose options, 7 Reds, and 3 different bubbles to choose from. They offer all options in a Taste size (2oz), Glass (5oz), or bottle. They also have a small food menu. This includes nicer bar snacks such as Marcona almonds, olives, and hummus. They have some smaller plates, which include a delicious looking Buratta dish, tuna poke, cheese fondue, and meatballs with potatoes. If you're feeling fancy, you can get a charcuterie board, or even caviar! They even have a molten chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert! Our Sommelier, Lorelle, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines they served. We ordered 4 tastes to start, and she was able to walk us through each one letting us know some tasting notes and other information about the wine. The tasting size is great, since it allows you to try a few before making a decision on a larger glass, or just taste a handful of different wines! We unfortunately didn't try any of the food, as we had just recently come from dinner. The other person working, Jose, was managing all things food prep while Lorelle handled all things wine. With all the tables taken, we sat at the bar and had a great view of Jose putting together delicious dishes the whole time! There were several dishes on the food menu that looked and sounded good, so we're definitely looking forward to going back! Thanks again for a great experience! IG: @bbnem.eats

Always a lovely experience visiting Mili wine bar, John is always super friendly with recommending wine choices and I love that they have a taste option as well a full glass. They are generous with their pours and it's a great ambience to chat with friends, though it can get crowded after work! Would highly recommend trying out their different wines here!

Great wine, amazing ambiance, and friendly service! Also this bar is in one of the coolest buildings in SF! Definitely recommend!

Great neighborhood joint! Our daughter lives in the area and it's a great place to drop in, have a nice glass of wine and just enjoy the ambience. The atmosphere is very chill-nice art, good music and great service. Crowd is a mix of regulars, business people and others just dropping in for a nightcap.

Great ambiance. Small but plenty of space for parties of 2, 4, 6. A but in the pricier range for a glass but there's great service and nice place

Nice wine bar near Embarcadero. The wine is of good quality, but the menu wasn't too long that overwhelmed you in your choices. The service was friendly. It's a perfect spot for a happy hour and noise levels are low allowing a great conversation!

I found this place when I searched wine bars near me after eating at Angler and it was a short walk away. I loved the vibe and it seems like the perfect place for a night cap, catching up with friends or a first date based on who all was there. The service was prompt and attentive. It was very clean. It was a nice way to end the night and wasn't too busy for a Thursday night.

It's no wonder Bill employs a strict no refund policy, how else could he bait and switch? We didn't have a reservation but lucked out and got seated right away at a beautiful spot on the rooftop. The atmosphere and the drinks were great, but the food was a major letdown--mostly because it was just incredibly annoying to eat. We ordered the deviled eggs, zucchini strips, fries, and a cheese board. For a rooftop lounge, they really need to rethink their menu mechanics: Deviled eggs: Way, way too salty. Zucchini strips: Cut way too big. You literally need a fork and knife just to eat them. Cheese and meat board: Came out without a cheese knife, which made trying to share and eat it an absolute mess. When you're out having drinks on a roof, you shouldn't have to struggle with your food. They need to stick to actual finger foods, canapés, or anything on a skewer or toothpick. Great spot for a drink and the view, but definitely eat somewhere else first.
