Bought two new cars there in 2005 and 2007 and was fairly well satisfied at the time. Service department has had an occasional mistake but have been decent overall (except for being too pricey). Therefore, I went to Muillennium to buy a used car for my 20 year old daughter. We settled on a 2012 Civic and the games began. the salesman started with the same price as was stated in the internet ad. To this, he added $374 for transportation and $375 for dealer prep as well as $995 to make the car "certified". Never did get a good explanation as to the latter but I passed on that. As for the transportation fee, since ther car was traded in at Millennium, I questioned what transportation could be involved. I also questioned the $375 as exhorbitant for dealer prep. After several back and forths, dealership would not budge one penny on the items. Reluctantly, as my daughter really wanted this car, I gave in after about 90 minutes. The kicker was the language in the sales agreement which, in regard to these fees, stated, "This negotiable administrative/transportation fee represents our costs in preparing your vehicle and all necessary paperwork and additional dealer profit." Contrary to what it states, it is not negotiable. It is reallly pure profit. I was curious as to what the dealer prep would entail. The car obviously had been run through the car wash. Car mats were still in the trunk. Windshield washer fluid was bone dry. Gas tank was nearly empty. But then, do you really expect them to do anything for their $375? I made it clear to them that if they failed to negotiate the price, they would lose a customer as I'm looking to buy two new cars next year. They didn't care. i suggest you follow my lead and avoid them at all costs. read more

I had a positive experience. I knew exactly what I wanted so I just layed it out on the table not to waste their time with test drives and tire kicking. i told them I had 3 other prices and theyre all the same and what can you do to get my business for next week delivery, not today. The closer ran over shot me a price that was $30 a month less on a no money down lease. Bottom line was they used a difference bank that had a much higher residual to reduce the lease payment. I didn't haggle any further as I was happy with that number and just signed and was out the door with the car the following Friday. sometimes I wonder if I could have got it for another $5 or $10 a month less but I dont really care as they give free service for a year and free car washes for the term of the lease so I figure with that savings its an even steven deal. read more

Working with Greg always makes the experience a positive one. He is always very helpful and makes he sometimes long wait bearable. We are always accommodated with rides to work when dropping the car off for a longer period of time. The car is almost always ready when promised. My husband and I have been getting our cars serviced at Millennium honda primarily because of the service we receive from Greg. What can I say.....a class operation! This is our second consecutive lease from Millenium Honda. My husband loves the CRV and he wanted another one after his lease expired. We returned here last week and spoke to Edgar Ramos, who's a Sales Consultant. He's a very courteous, pleasant young man who was eager to make the deal but not pushy. My husband could not agree with a price and Oscar Moral (the manager) came over. Oscar gave us the best deal possible with our last lease. Let me tell you something about Oscar. Managers should come to him from other dealerships for lessons on how to treat customers. He is beyond nice and very pleasant to talk to. He is not by any means pushy and has such a great personality and is easy to talk to. No phoniness at all. He gave my husband a price that was exactly what he was looking for. We then went on to talk about different restaurants (we're both foodies) and recommendations for steakhouses. The conversation was so pleasant, almost like you're talking to a friend. Also, Mauricio Mosquera (another manager) walked over and joined us in our conversation. He is also so very nice and a genuine great person. So, I think you get the idea of how this went. I could not ever, ever go to another dealership for a Honda. Why go elsewhere when you have the best at Millennium! Thank you Oscar, Mauricio, and Edgar for making this such a great experience. I guess I should have looked on yelp before I dealt with this dealership. Their 2 Star Rating is spot on (2 being on the generous side) I spoke with a manager Tom on Saturday that promised and guaranteed to beat a price that I had gotten at another dealer. I typically would not shop price especially for the difference of a few dollars but millennium happen to have the color car I wanted. I'm made an appointment to meet with Tom at 9:30 AM Monday for inspection of my trade and finalize the deal. What I got was a big waste of time - Tom never had the courtesy to meet me, I was passed off to a helpful but uninformed salesman who could not produce close to what I was promised over the phone. I'm not even sure Tom is an actual manger, my guess is he's part of a call center just getting people to come into the dealership. If you must go to this dealership caution if you bring young children as they have explicit music playing through the showroom speakers. read more

If I was able to give no stars I would! HORRIBLE EXPRIENCE. I got my 2018 Honda Civic last week in February with a $3,000 down payment, security,etc. A week after having keys to my car this is where their FIRST MISTAKE happens, the manager has the audacity to keep calling stating I need to give $1,000 more! I went down to their dealer spoke with the finance guy (Indian) and he was lost in regards of what I was saying due to he did not see or understand why I would need to give more money as the deal was closed. As I have understood the First Month payment is included in the $3,000 which means I shouldn't get billed until April 25th,2018 for the month of April. I was billed in April to the correct address to which the car is registered with no problem.. this is where their SECOND MISTAKE came in they later called stating they did a mistake and billed the WRONG amount under my civic (due to having an accord 14' with them as well..). This early morning at 3:00 AM I am woken up as my CAR IS BEING REPOSSED! . I was unable to take my 2 TODDLERS to DAYCARE! had to pay a babysitter out of pocket ! and miss work due to that they state they did not receive the payment , that they sent out the bill and it got returned to them yet they sent Aprils bill to the Correct address but they claimed they put that payment onto the accord instead of the civic. This month just was billed for May so how is it possible that I owe ANY MONEY WHEN THEY HAVE TAKEN IT OUT OF BANK ACCOUNT?!. Now I have to deal with the Honda finance to settle the payments they did an error on !! be with out a car for the next 2-4 days, miss work due to no type of transportation ! with NO PAY! and have to pay a babysitter on top of paying the daycare already! for their in responsible mistakes! OH and "their FREE CARWASH" they LITERALLY just splash your car with a hose for 1 MINUTE!! I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO BE OVER NEVER AGAIN!! Guys do not even think about going there. you will be just wasting your time and your money. this is my story with them: I had an appointment with Honda Millennium last Saturday (8-13-16) at 10.30. I took my car there because the rear rotor is making a really bad grinding sound when I turn the wheel to the right. This sound started recently after changing all my brake pads and rotors. I explained this to the service guys and told them exactly that the issue has to do with the breaking parts (pads, rotors or calipers) and that I was suspecting calipers failure because the other parts were new. After 5 long hours of waiting at the reception and with an appointment, the service guy came to me and told me that the differential fluid, brake fluid and the transmission fluid were contaminated and are behind that noise. I repeated myself and told them if they were sure of that, because the noise is a metal grinding and this noise started after changing the pads and the rotors. The mechanic confirmed that after changing the fluids, the noise will disappear. The cost was over $400 to change the fluids. So I told them just go for it. All what I wanted is my car fixed. 45 minutes later, the mechanic came and told me that the work was done and my car was ready. I asked him if he checked the brake pads and the rotors and if the noise was gone. He told me that he would do it before releasing the car. 30 minutes later, he came and he told me that the left rear caliper was stuck and the rear pads need to be changed. They did not have the calipers in stock so they told me that they needed to order it and that I have to bring my car back to be fixed. The job will cost over $500. I was so frustrated because you are in a dealer's shop and all what I wanted is my car fixed, which did not happen. I paid the +$400 for services I did not need, and made an appointment for the following Tuesday to replace the calipers and the pads. They told me that they will bring me my car in 3 minutes after washing it. 30 minutes later, my car is still in the garage. I inquired at the reception, they say that my car is ready and they sent somebody to bring it out. The guy came back and told me that a person from the service area will take it out in a while. Another 15 to 20 minutes, still no sign of my car. I was so pissed and went screaming at the reception. I needed my car out and explained to them that they were not professional in their services. After insisting that I need my car right away after spending the whole day at the dealer, the guy at the reception took me inside and showed me my car. The mechanic was still working on it. He finally found the main reason behind the whole noise. He told me that the rotors were after market and one of the rotors was touching the main cylinder to which it is attached to. I ordered my rotors and my brake pads from a Honda dealer. So I did not believe them. I asked them to give me a note that states that the parts are not original so that I can sue the dealer. But they were hesitating since they were not sure and they keep giving me excuses. The mechanic managed to fix some of the noise and they advised me to come to change the calipers. I made the appointment for Tuesday at 7.15am though the guy at the reception told me that no appointment is needed. They will give me priority and they will fix the car fast. It won't take so long. Still I made the appointment. I called them on Monday to make sure that the part arrived. They confirmed that they have it and I can come at 7.15am to do the replacement. I went Tuesday morning and asked them if the part was there, they say yes and if I wanted to leave the car. I said no, I'm waiting here and I need to know how long it is going to take. He told me it will be done by 9.30- 10.00 am. Because the part is here and they have to open the boxes (excuses that do not make any senses. I said no way; I am not staying here more than an hour because I am working. Then he called the part department, they told him that the part is not here yet. I just took my keys and left. All in all, it was the worst experience of my life with a Honda dealer. Customer service agents were lying and they charged for a useless work that I did not have to do. I cannot give the service 5 stars because it was woefully less. I have a 2004 CRV that I brought in for a recall notice. I met with Paul and told him the situation. He was very personable and persuaded me to get additional services such as transmission and rear differential fluid changes. The bill quickly rose from nothing to over $980. I felt very uncomfortable and told him I was planning to replace the car soon. I am retired and of limited means. I got a text in about an hour with $1725 more work to be done and would be over $2600. I texted him the car was only worth 5K and I was replacing it so stop any work. He texted they had already drained the fluids but he will stop additional work. I really doubt the fluids were drained when I called. Paul indicated he will throw in an alignment for no charge. I got a call the car was finished and Jason picked me up to retrieve it. I put the $748.19 charge on my credit card and was told to wait for my car. I got a coffee in the waiting area and I finished it went over to look at a new CRV. I told the salesman I was still waiting for my car. I returned and it was still not down. I returned to the cashier who requested it again. This was 45 minutes later. The serviceman said it was on the street for me. It was not. I returned to the cashier and made another request and I saw my car come down the ramp 5 minutes later. I am taking my CRV to my TRUSTED mechanic this morning. I appreciate some of the items are necessary BUT feel I was taken advantage of. read more

I recently purchased a Honda HRV from millennium Honda in Hempstead. My salesman was Christopher white, good guy, answered the majority of our questions and worked with us. Here's where things take a turn for the worse, once we got into the finance department huge mathematical errors were made. We almost walked out without the car. OSCAR offered us a few things including all weather mats for the vehicle. He never delivered on his promise, even after three separate visits to millennium Honda. I was very upset that I was lied to based on a mistake that Honda had originally made in the first place. It's very disheartening that Honda is willing to lose a customer over something as silly as mats. I can't speak for other salesman and employees, But watch out for OSCAR he's a liar, and for that I will never go back to millennium Honda in Hempstead. read more

Although this place may look nice I had a horrible experience. I made a 7am appointment and I was the third car there. All I needed was an oil change and my car has 5000 miles on it. After an hour and a half I asked how much longer and they said they weren't sure. I wait, and still no answer. I noticed a man that was there after me was finished before me but needed an oil change, and a bump on his front to be fixed, and did not have an appointment! I asked what the deal was and they said it all varies. Finally they finished my car, which was soaking wet so a pretty bad "car wash." I went into my car and noticed they changed all the heat controls, synced their phone to my Bluetooth and used my iPhone car charger. So I called the manager and although he was apologetic, that doesn't stand for much. I don't recommend going here. read more

I ask to cancel. 2 days later, credit card doesn't show any pending refunds. Filing dispute with credit card company. Went to another dealer, gives LOWER initial price than millennium's final price, $100 deposit only, and tells me up front how many days to get car. So many other dealers on LI, avoid these guys. read more

after sitting with my friend and a salesman a price was agreed on. $279 month for 36 months with $1000. down payment. They took her $500 down and had her sign the agreement. My friend who is 78 years old felt this was a good deal as she has been leasing from them over 9 years and the monthly payment although higher than her usual $180. month was manageable since the down payment left her a little in the bank. She had also brought in a letter that they had sent her to give her $2500 towards a deal from them. However, after her visit with the finance guy the price became well over $300 month!! THIS COMPANY KEPT $399 OF MINE FOR A DEPOSIT AND IS TOO NEGLIGENT TO RETURN IT. Do not buy or lease your car here. I leased my CRV here three years ago and was not offered the option of getting 12,000 miles a year; fine. That doesn't even bother me that much. They said they'd do better when I went to turn in my lease in March of this year. Then COVID happened and understandably this was hard on the dealership. So now we have a tepid first round lease and being dropped for the second go-round because they had to close the dealership and people were getting laid off. I felt for them. However, I put a $399 deposit down to hold a Honda on March 24 -- and have since called them maybe 50 times? and written letters to get it back -- and now it's JUNE and they still haven't reimbursed my card. My complaint is about the collection of behaviors that show they don't care about you especially if you're a woman and they're entitled to your money even if they treat you like garbage. read more

Called Millennium Honda 7/14/14 and spoke with Anna who claimed she was a used car salesperson. She was not.( Lie #1) I inquired about a 2012 Honda Civic EX Stock #:U17834T advertised on their website. She said the car was there and I could come in for a test drive. I asked about fees, etc. and everything seemed to be on the up & up. She gave me her direct phone # with an extension only to find out it wasn't hers when I called back.(lie #2) I drove 25 minutes to Millennium Honda, once inside the vultures came to attack the "fresh meat" I told each and every one of them, as I waited 15 minutes, that I had an appointment with Anna. Well Anna shows her face for all but two minutes, then hands me off to another boob who tells me that the civic had been SOLD.(lie #3) Now he wants to put me in a brand new Civic. I said I wasn't interested, yet he was rambling on about interest rates, etc. At this point I was so F'n angry, anything they were saying sounded like the adults in a Charlie Brown cartoon. They had nothing remotely close to this model for the advertised price so I left. The next day, 7/15/14 I called Millennium Honda, and asked to speak to a manager. A manager named, "Michael" tried to excuse his employees actions and insisted that they have so many Civics in stock within their Auto Group that he was surprised that they couldn't find another one for me. He took my name and number and said he was going to find a Civic comparable to my original inquiry. Guess what? Michael never got back to me. (Lie # 4!) They have the opportunity to make car buying a pleasant experience for both the buyer & seller, but choose to be shrewd and deceitful. The people at Millennium Honda are PATHETIC and whoever created these auto sales tactics should be shot! I am going to call the Honda Motor Company and complain. Stay away from this dealership! The parking and selection of cars in showroom to check out is good , however, my experience with a salesman there was horrible! Salesman appeared inexperienced, unknowledgable, and used high pressure sales tactics. Was looking to purchase a vehicle and wanted a fair price on the MSRP not only did he start with a ridiculously high number after waiting forever for him to speak with underwriters just to get an inital MSRP he kept wanted to talk about what I wanted the monthly payments when I clearly told him multiple times we are not using financing through their dealership and all we need to discuss is the MSRP which he would not get through his head. Just kept repeating well what if I got the payments at this price etc... and I kept telling him he has nothing to do with the monthly payments cause we are using a outside loan. Then I had to tell him the price I wanted it for after going back and forth and waiting each time he had to go to I assume the underwriters for "approval". The worst part which still surprises me I didnt walk out is at the final price I proposed I would consider buying the car I had to write it down on a piece of scrap paper and initial it prior to him even getting the "approval" (my guess is this tactic is used to mislead the customer in feeling obligated to buy the car) then after I did that and prior to the so called "approval" he asked for my credit card lol. Finally a "manager" came over which seemed straightforward on the price; had he been my first impression I probably would of gave them my business but salesman agitated me too much so brought my business to another dealership and was willing to pay slightly more than the manager agreed to sell the vehicle for cause of my lack of trust with their establishment and how they train their salesman. I could not understand why he kept talking about payments instead of MSRP especially since I was using a outside party to finance so I did some research and learned he was focusing on payments in order to sneak in hidden fees prior signing a contract with disposition fees, money down etc... and make financing through them more appealing while overcharging me on the MSRP. I usually never write reviews but this place has me so furious I just had to do it. The car buying experience was mediocre at best. They were great up till the point that i said i was going to buy the car and gave them the down payment, after that I had to wait for hours for them to get the car and the paperwork ready and no one even came to check on me, or apologize or even offer me coffee. I had turned in my old leased car to them and had set up an inspection for that leased car to be done at the dealership, when the inspector showed up no one was there to assist him and after waiting an hour he left and i got a call from my old leasing company stating that i had to reschedule and may be delinquent and may have issues with returning my old car. No one from the dealership called me to tell me this, I had to hear it from the leasing company. Next I get a call from my insurance company saying that i have been stripped of insurance for my new car because i never did a photo inspection. Having looked further, its because the Millennium Honda never faxed over my window sticker to my insurance company as they had promised and as i had confirmed with them on several occasions. GO elsewhere to buy your honda, this place has horrible customer service and they don't follow through on their word. read more

I hate this place. Too crowded, the staff are obnoxious and arrogant, rude, pushy, you name it. Their first offers are clear rip-offs, especially if you're female (bring a male to negotiate with you because apparently we live in 1950s America). They were so insulting with the offer they gave my mother that she had to come get Y-chromosomed reinforcements. Not to mention the time they backed into her car when she was waiting for an oil change and then they still made her wait over an hour and charged her for it. Their practices are ultra shady. All this "get here now so we know you're for real" and "give us your license and credit card so I can show my manager that you're for real before we give you a number" and forcing you to put a deposit to ensure you won't go somewhere else to price compare is such BS and is likely illegal. Shady, shady place. They take your license and then disappear for 45 minutes at a time and you have to wander around flagging them down for what should take 20 minutes from start to finish. They use exhaustion as a tactic to wear you down. read more

***UPDATED*** 9 months in and I still do not have my registration, I have been getting temporary registrations from the dealer that have the incorrect information every time*** This dealer is absolutely ridiculous and would recommend everyone to stay away. The finance manger when I got my car tried to trick me with saying my credit was not tier one and adds a tire care agreement, which I called after I got the car and got the refund for it by the tire care company; a 1% increase in interest rate translates into a $100 increase in monthly payment to these people. Also my car has not been registered for a whole 7 months and they tell me I am going to get a refund for the tickets I paid but have not received any refund in over 2 months because their accounting department is doing something, a big dealer can't refund such a small amount of money tells me how competent their financing is. I called up Honda Financial and even they are confused as to why it takes 7 months to register a car; I also paid DMV fees twice and they still could not get it correct. This is absolutely ridiculous and hope no one falls into their tricks. read more

This place is horrible. I bought my car back in October and I have been down there 3 times already since then. First, my window trim was falling off my car while I was driving. The thing was flapping in the window and it looked like it could fall off at any time. I brought it into them and explained the problem. They took two hours to look at it and finally when they brought it back they tried telling me they couldn't find anything. The thing was hanging off of my door!! The mechanic said he checked the "window lining" and it was fine. I didn't tell them to check the window lining, I told them to check the trim! He couldn't notice it and it was right in front of him. I explained that it looks like it's going to fall off and that it's only being held in by tape. He told me I had to come back another day so they can order the part, and that I should just leave it held on with tape.. I brought it back the next week and they took another whole 2 hrs just to put the new trim on. It's like a 5 minute job. Then I started having problems with one of my tires. Every week it would lose so much pressure that the light would come on the dashboard and I would have to pull over to the gas station and refill it. I brought it back to millenium and explained the problem to them. They took 2 hrs to "look at it" and then came back to me and tried insisting that theres nothing wrong with the tire. They said theres no nails or slashes so its fine. They went on to basically telling me that I was lying about the tire losing air and that they needed "verification" that the problem I was having was real. They so go back out and drive and when you get the light on the dashboard I should "take a picture of it" and email it to them. And that I shouldn't fill it up with air, I should bring it back to them and then they would actually thoroughly look it. I work as a delivery driver. I can't be driving around with no air in my tires. The service advisor then said alright, that she would ask the mechanic to look at it again. She told me to wait. I waited another hour and nobody came up to me to tell me anything. I looked out the window and saw my car was still sitting there. Nobody touched it or moved it. I went up to the desk to ask when they would look at it and then the lady went on and lied to me!! She said the guy double checked it and it was fine. I told her I was looking at the car through the window and nobody touched it at all. She then changed her story and said that the guy "double checked it before" and that he was certain it's fine. Basically that I made the problem up and theres nothing wrong with it. She told me if I wanted to I could speak to the manager. That he saw it and would explain to me everything. I approached him and asked him "are you the guy who looked at my car" and with and attittude he said "I'm the manager I don't look at cars". I explained to him the problem and how I was being accused of lying about the tire. He said, "No, we're not saying you're lying. If we said that about you we'd have to tell 9/10 customers we think they're lying. We just need "verification" that your problem is real." Basically they were refusing to thoroughly look at the problem unless I came crawling to them in an emergency situation with a half flat tire. After 3 hrs of being there, and being made to wait an hour for nothing at all, his best solution he could offer me was to leave the car there overnight. It was 2pm.. I was there since 11, for a tire issue!!! Why do they need the car all day?!?! I live like 20 miles from the dealership and did not have a ride home. There was no way I was doing that. I brought the car to STS afterwards and they said they could find the problem and fix it in an hr. An hr!!! I received no apology for the crap they put me through, and was made to feel like I was there for no reason and was wasting their time. Why would I go down there and make this shit up? They were lazy and didn't want to check the car all the way. Plain and simple. Never going to Millenium again. I'll try North Shore Honda next time maybe. read more

I leased my Honda Civic a little over three years ago from Millennium Honda and had a great experience at that time with the salesman. He was knowledgable, patient, and followed up with me weeks after I signed the paperwork and left with my car. However, I recently went back to Millennium Honda and had quite the opposite experience. Initially, I was torn with whether to buy my leased car, lease a new car, or turn it in completely. The salesperson I was speaking with (as many car salesman do), wanted to push me to either buy the car out or lease another with them. I told him I would need a little time, and I made an appt with him a week later to come back. At the time of that appt, he walked in half an hour later, did not apologize and seemed very upset that I decided I was going to extend my lease for another four months. I kid you not he literally WALKED AWAY and left me sitting at his desk without saying a word. I thought maybe he was called to do something else, etc, but when I searched the floor for him after 10 minutes I saw him shooting the sh*t with the receptionist at the front desk. Long winded story short, this dealer lacked respect, professionalism, and I felt compelled to write a review (which I usually don't) to possibly save people the time and headache. As much as I love Honda cars, I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

This place is absolute TRASH. I had a scheduled appointment and was waiting for over two hours to be told my car still hadn't even been looked at yet. The service assistant was a fucking idiot and instead of apologizing she was tying to argue about why my point of view was wrong. Do not visit or waste your money at this place. It is filled with idiots who do not value the time or money of their customers. Everyone from the management on down deserves to be fired and thrown out on the street. Any opportunity I see or create to tarnish their reputation, I will relish with joy. They deserve to be closed down so that every single employee there loses their job and through poverty and struggle maybe they will learn to be humble and do better at their next place of employment. read more

First oil change since i leased my car and once again i have nothing excellent service and friendly workers... brought the car in fir a 3:30 appt friday afternoon.. car was finished in 55 minutes.. when advised it would take 1-1/2 hours... they wash your car automatically.. checked and topped off the windshield washer fluid and reset air in my tires..i had called to set up the appt just 2 days before... i asked best time to bring in the car.. just advised saturday is probably the busiest day.... try to bring in your car during the week if possible.. they have a nice waiting area with free coffee.. our service advisor Paul was very nice and helped us right away.. will update next service visit but i continue to be pleasantly surprised... read more

On Feb 9, 2016 - Excuse the lengthy review, but we wanted to share the process, as buying a car sometimes is not fun process, but we did truly enjoy the process at Millennium Honda... Wife had an accident with her 1999 Honda Accord V6 (she is fine). The body shop said it was not worth fixing, even though it was in perfect running condition with 99K miles. So I jumped into drastic research mode, to tried and find a new used car for my wife, since she needs her car daily. Found a few CR-V's around the Queens area, but they were over priced and in disappointing condition. Running out of options I turned to eBay.com, after going through cars.com, truecar.com, carbuyersmarket.com. Luckily, I found a 2009 Honda CR-V EX with 29,078 miles, yes 29K for less than $15K, at Millennium Honda in Long Island, I couldn't believe!! I immediately called the dealer and spoke with a very helpful and friendly representative, Mark Levine. I asked him if the Honda in question was still available, expecting to hear, sorry it was sold already, he came back to let me know that it was still available. Happy to hear this, I asked for the current price and surprisingly they had lower the car to just a tad under $13K. We drove out to go see the car, since they close at 9PM. Mark was not there but Scott Pomerico the sales rep was there to meet us, and the car had been running to get it warmed up for us, on a cold day. Scott was kind and patient and extremely pleasant. He informed us about the car and all the of the items that they checked, verified the price was correct. Walked out to the car and it was a real treat, black exterior color, and black interior color with cloth seats that look like were never sat on! My wife, Scott and I took the car out for a test drive and all felt great, nice and tight, amazing brakes, no rattles, or other noises. Drove the car back into the dealer area where there was a lot of light. I took out my PosiTest DFT paint gauge meter and I checked out the car 360, all original and VIN tags all present and matching. Very excited, check under the hood and again found it to be in amazing condition. Started some of the paperwork but needed to come back, since we forgot about the plates, as we were transferring them from the previous car. Mario was the finance representative that late night, let us know that he will need to speak with someone at the bank about our final APR terms for the loan. Returned the next day with plates in hand, and Scott once again there for us, brought us water and hot chocolate for the kids, he showed us the shinny, totally prepped CR-V, looked showroom new. A new finance representative Haresh Nainani assisted us, he was very busy taken care of other clients and when it was our turn, gave us 100% attention. Since my wife didn't have great credit, he really helped us out and lower the APR even further by the end of the conversation. Haresh Nainani explained to us the option which we decided to add on, (I would never, but it felt right) the Platinum bumper to bumper Extended warranty with a lot of features that would be great for my wife, in case of an emergency while she was on the road. The warranty offers my wife 4 year or 50K miles (total miles from now, with coverage from any Honda Dealer, the price was very reasonable for 4 years of coverage, a little peace of mind. I had done my consumerreports.org research and there weren't very many things wrong with the CR-V, but again a peace of mind. For the amount that we were getting ready to spend, to pay a lot less but get a 29K mile care with full warranty it was just the right combination for our family. We then needed to call insurance to add the new car, and Grisela (insurance assistant) helped us out with this plus more. Grisela was very bother with the price that was going to be paying for insurance and she insisted in trying to get me a better quote, she tried very hard!! And because of her, I switched insurance companies and saved $700 yearly, talk about above and beyond customer service!!! Thank you Grisela!! We then went back and signed away all the paperwork that we needed to with Haresh, they put on my wife's custom plates on her new CR-V and we were off. Couldn't have been happier, from beginning to end, never felt any pressure on anything, everything was explained up front, no BS, just the real deal here at Millennium Honda. My husband and I had a horrific experience at Millennium Honda in Hempstead NY. We were trying to turn in my CRV and end my lease early to upgrade to an Odyssey because my husband and I are expecting our first child and we need the extra space. We spent 2.5 hours with our Salesperson Chris. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles, helped us with a test drive, and did a great job at determining which car would best fit our needs. When we decided on the Odyssey, we were very clear that leasing was new to us (even more new was turning a car in early) so we repeatedly asked very specific questions about how it worked, Chris ran everything by the manager, and were advised that our monthly payments would be in the range of $330. With this, we agreed and since the dealership was closing, set 2:30 the next day to complete the process and pickup our new vehicle. Chris was in contact with us throughout the day so that we could provide necessary documentation. When we arrived just before 2:30, Chris greeted us and seated us to wait for a finance manager. We then waited for 2 hours with no progress (or meeting with the finance person) and being pregnant, I was growing visibly uncomfortable. After noticing at least a dozen folks being taken ahead of us, we asked to see a manager to voice our frustration, and that finally got us into see a finance person. When we started speaking with the finance person, he noticed an error on the sales form and was going to charge us a higher tax than what was disclosed. Then, AFTER my husband's credit was run, we were advised that monthly payments were going to be over $600; $300+ more than we were quoted the evening before. At that point, the finance manager approached us and disclosed that the entire financial package and explanation we were given were completely incorrect and that there wasn't much he could do to correct the issue. At that point, we terminated the agreement and had to switch our insurance documentation back to our original vehicle. In the end, we left in our same vehicle and with minimal care from the dealership's management. We also already had a deposit charged to our card! The experience ended with me being uncomfortable for several hours, 6 hours of wasted time, my husband's credit being pulled, confusion with our insurance company, a major estimate/explanation error that was an obvious result of a training/supervision issue, breakdown of controls in the sales process, and no sign of Millennium wanting to do anything but make this a quick transaction (rather than building a relationship). I will never work with them again and their reputation for providing poor experiences continues. I received a call from a manager after leaving but it was obvious that she was letting me vent so I would not file a complaint because she didn't have any resolution and only offered that this would never happen again. Sadly, I'm sure that similar issues will continue to happen there but buyers are confused by the sales process/numbers, and they are convinced that everything makes sense without being 100% comfortable with what they are signing. Additionally, it took us quite a few weeks to FIGHT to get our deposit back, for a car we never even left with! The whole experience was very bait & switch! (After the horrible experience, we nearly gave up on the Honda brand. We decided to try another Honda dealership as a last hurrah. Thankfully, we met Steve C at Honda of Valley Stream. We explained our situation, our horrible experience at Millennium Honda, what we were looking for and he was great. He was patient, CLEARLY explained the financial package, and made sure we were comfortable with everything. Steve's sales sheet was very clear and transparent- unlike Millennium's. We accomplished more with Steve at Honda of Valley Stream in 1+ hour than we had with Millennium in 6 hours. I am writing to inform you of my recent experience at your service center. I have had an ongoing issue that Mr. Gregg Anderson has been helping me with. I needed to drop my 2014 Accord off for repairs at night for work to be done the following day. At Mr. Anderson's suggestion, I was told to ask for Randy in the customer service department for help. I stopped by to drop my car off tonight at 6:00PM and asked for Randy as instructed. Randy was anything but helpful and made me feel as though he was doing me a favor by providing me service. He was nasty and condescending and treated me like anything but a valued customer. There was a total lack of concern on his part for my needs. The young lady working with Randy tonight seemed to be amused at the way I was being treated, laughing aloud. I am an active member of the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce and feel obligated to let my community know about the type of employees working at your business. I am also inclined to turn to social media posting on Yelp and Facebook recommending that people interested in buying a Honda go to North Shore Honda or Honda City, both a short distance from Hempstead. Omg! This place is the worse. I agree with everyone here that rated this place with a one star. If I could give this place a minus one star I would. My experience here was horrifying. I suggest everyone to go to another dealership. Everyone people are saying about them I experienced. They use this switch and bait tactic. They advertise the 2014 accord Lx accord for 189 but when I went to get a lease the salesman told me they didn't have the 2014 lx in stock and try to get me to lease a 2014 ex model. At first I didn't mind but then the salesman asked me for my id, my credit card..so I asked the salesman why I need to give him my credit card for when we don't have a deal written down on paper yet. He said he needs to show his manager my commitment. Which is all BS, I am here how much more commitment do you want. Then a manager comes over and say he will try to help me out...who throws more numbers at me and then says he has to talk to another manager and if I can give him my credit card to show his manager my commitment. I don't understand what,my credit card has to do with my commitment level to buying a car? If you want my commitment isn't it easier to agree to a number and put everything on paper??? So It refused to give them my credit card which was the best move I made because the salesman and the manager both left and said they will try to help me get the higher manager to agree to my lease price. This is the worst dealership and Honda should pull their name out from here. Call for a first complimentary oil change and was given a 12:90noon appointment and was told the service would that up to 1 1/2 hours depending on the amount of cars there. Upon arriving the car line was well into the street, blocking any traffic from passing and creating a potential front page incident. When after 1/2 of waiting to be signed in I spoke with an incompetent service rep and I was told it would be a minimum of 3, yes 3 hours!! I spoke with a service manager and explained my situation and he was most helpful. His name is Dennis. I have owned 3 Honda's and 2 Acura's and this is the first from Millennium Honda. The only good thing that came from this free first oil change experience is that I learned to never, yes never have anything to do with this dealership. If they think that their free service does then any good then they are 100% wrong. It only exhibits their incompetence!! read more

My experience with Millennium Honda in Hempstead, NY on July 23, 2019 was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at any service center. I had my car towed to this location to repair a flat tire. I attempted to contact them all day while I was at work and nobody could provide my any information about the status of my vehicle. After hours of attempting to contact them, they couldn't even locate my vehicle. It got to the point where I had to contact the police department to file a stolen vehicle complaint. After I informed them that I was calling the police, they were suddenly able to locate my vehicle within 10 minutes. When I arrived, I have never seen such unprofessional employees. I had to wait over 30 minutes before I could eve speak with someone about my vehicle. The behavior in which I observed how the employees were speaking to and treating each other was beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. When I finally was able to speak with someone, I was dumbfounded to find out that my car, which was towed to this location at 8:00AM, wasn't even looked at all day (at this point it was 4:30PM). They replaced my damaged tire with a new tire and my tire pressure light was still on. I brought my vehicle to my regular service center where it was discovered that the tire inflation was 28 psi, and it should have been 34. I can't believe that after everything I went through dealing with Millennium Honda all day, that they would return my car to me at a tire pressure setting much lower than the standard regulation setting. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I really hope that someone from Honda Corporate Office pays a visit to the Millennium Honda service center to investigate the quality of daily operations at this location. I have never been treated so unprofessionally and poorly at an automobile service center in my life. STAY FAR AWAY!!!! read more

I walked in this morning 12/31/19, around 10:30am to get an oil change for my 2019 Honda Civic (Key Tag 330). I was waiting for my turn to be called in & after about 20 mins standing the rep "Ms. Alvia" -not sure if this is the correct name as she was hesitant to give the name. I told her I just need an oil change & she informed that I was due for some $339 service. I said No, I'll just do the oil change. She try to push me to do this service & offered me a $40 rebate. I refused to go with it. She prints the service work order & was given to my wife to initial it. After initializing it my wife realized that she had billed for $79.99. I politely told her when I purchased the vehicle from them I was offered free 1yr oil change. Without even checking the rep Alivia with an attitude said "I don't think so, you are only allowed 3 services free anyways". I informed her I might have done 2 oil changes & all were done with Millennium & asked if she could check in the system. She rudely said "you need to wait I have to send..." not sure somewhere to check. Meanwhile she asked her other colleague sitting next to her to check. He said he'll do it after he's done with the customer he was working with. She tells him, "No rush". So, meanwhile I walked towards to the customer waiting area while watching if she was going to attend to mark paper work. The counters were totally empty, her friend attend to 5 more customers since I walked away from the counter & they started having snacks & giggling, which was nice. I walked up to her & asked her any update on my paper work. She says "No you have to wait. I'll call you". Meanwhile I asked the same colleague of hers since he was free if he could tell me if I have any free services left. He got nasty & said "you're being serviced by one rep & how many reps do you need to work on you". I kept my mouth shut since I was helpless & after about 10mins later my rep Alvia says "you have one more free service left & completed the paper work & informed me it'll be over 2 hours. I already spent close to hour an half & I said I just don't want to service with them knowing that they are going to purposely delay my car. I asked for the name of hers & her colleagues & she refused saying "go asking him". I'm so glad I did not sign maintenance with this dealer & hope NO ONE will ever sign for extended maintenance with Millennium. My plan was to walk across the street to the sales dept since I'm in the midst of looking to buy a car for my daughter who is in college.
