They have great food, especially the pot stickers and sweet Thai chili sauce. Recently I visited this restaurant and had an issue with the hostess regarding wearing a mask. The management of this company is awesome and made everything right. They demonstrated that they truly care about their customers and customer service. I have had business lunches and family meals there and have always enjoyed it and will continue to do so. read more

This is the only excellent "sit down" restaurants we went to during our 3 days in McDonough. I'm assuming that everyone knows this as we were told we had a 35-40 minute wait unless we could find a seat at the bar. We could not so we waited. We only waited about 25 minutes before they texted us to say our table was ready. Our server, Shaun, (who was excellent) came over to greet us and take our drink order. We also ordered the BBQ Cauliflower which was delivered fairly quickly. It could have actually been a meal in itself so I was almost sorry I ordered the pasta dish. My husband had the fajitas. Everything came out fairly quickly and was delicious. Our server checked on us numerous times throughout the meal and always had a smile on her face. While we are not sports fans there are many, many TV's to watch whatever sports you are into during your dining experience. So if your date is boring you, you have something to tune into without being obvious as a TV is in every corner and every wall in the bar area. Again, meal and customer service was excellent. If in McDonough this will be the only "table service" restaurant we will go back to. read more

Ok, I know it just opened in Mcdonough. BUT! But .... I have issues with the "bar food" It was you typical bar food but a little to bland for my taste. Waiter was awesome, but the food man! Spinach and artichoke dip needed salt and nacho chips that were not fried with something sweet. They had to have been fried with like funnel cake or some kind of dessert because the chips were corny sweet. Not good! Slider and blue cheese flat bread tasted like angry fucking blue cheese and nothing else. I like blue cheese crumbles but holy shitballs this was some stanky blue cheese and sooooo much of it. Fried pot stickers were ok, not much to say but make your own sauce don't send out store bought sweet chili sauce. Onion soup was the only tasty thing we had that I would go back for. Or maybe not pricing was a little steep for what little food we got. FYI... don't get the salad. Rotten lettuce and cucumbers made it taste slimy and earthy. DAMN MAN!!!! read more

I am a huge fan of Miller's. I lived in Florida where they are more popular. So finding this location in McDonough was a huge plus. Miller's Ale House is known for their Zingers! With over 20 flavors to choose from and endless other food options to suit almost everyone's needs - this is the place to be. They also have a really good selection of cheaper beers than most places. So that's definitely a plus. You can come in, watch sports, drink, eat, & relax. The atmosphere is inviting for just that! My daughter and I ate here for the first time today, and I must say, I will be back. Very nice restaurant, with very nice staff. The host that sat us was very friendly and personable. We also had a very nice and attentive waitress. Everyone was social distanced nicely also. The menu has a wide variety of items also, so much to choose from. I ordered the Nachos, they weren't the best I ever had, but they were good. I will try another item the next time. The table we sat at was very small, so we will get a booth next time. I tried this place out for the first time tonight. I'm excited about this review for you because you'll be pleased to hear this is a great new place to go. They text you when your table is ready which I loved because you can wait in your car if you so desire. It is clean, friendly, great bar ambiance, and really great Diet Coke! I'm pregnant so I can't have any of the beer although they have plenty wonderful beer selections and I'm sure they are delightful. Two words... beer cheese. This was a terrible dining experience. My wife and I visited the restaurant at lunchtime on a Monday, it was an hour wait from the time we arrived to our appetizer was served. I ordered the Monday special, baby back ribs. They were cold and dry and over cooked and tasted awful. The broccoli was salty and my wife's burger was raw inside. They have several lunch and dinner meal and drink specials. They also have a lunch club program where you earn a free lunch up to $10 when you get 5 lunch stamps on their lunch club card. The demand has been so overwhelming that they were out of cards. Vinney, one of the managers, stamped his business card for me so I can start earning my lunch stamps. We sat for 30 minutes and no one even came up to us to get our drink orders, so we asked the hostess if she could get us a server, she said "i don't know" and walked to the back, came back out, and never found a server. Typical pub menu with slightly higher than typical quality. Tonight I had the Mahi tacos with a side salad (in lieu of rice & beans) and the wife had a burger with fries. My tacos were fine, salad was fresh, the burger moist & tasty despite the patty being slightly inconsistently cooked (half of it was medium, the other half med-rare?). Fries were good, too. Service was decent. Our waitress was always on the move and seemed to have a lot of tables which left the service brief but she did stop by for refills twice during the meal, so that's good. This was not my first Millers experience but the first at this location. So this is a newly opened location and we decided to pay a visit after my coworker raved about this location.We visited this Millers location the Sunday after Valentines day so we expected a long wait time but it actually wasn't that bad only about 35 minutes for seating. Plus they had the iPad out which allowed them to plugin our phone numbers that would text us when our table was ready. I love that format because it doesn't bind you to the immediate area if you have a long wait time. Now for the part you're reading for, the stuffing of our faces. The patron mango margarita was so delicious, I've had their drinks before and everything is usually pretty good, plus they usually have loads of drink specials. The bf had the lobster tails which are small but come 2 to the plate and were seasoned very well and he enjoyed it. I ordered the jambalaya but to put it nicely it was not the best I've had. The rice was under cooked and the sausage was hard and unseasoned.We had an order of zingers and a side of fries which were seasoned so well and both separately were delish! We finished off our evening with a Captain Jacks dessert which is an ice cream cake which was really good, I admittedly did not share much...or at all. Our server had a big party and a few other tables so she wasn't as attentive as you'd expect but there was a training manager there who frequented our table and was very interactive and helped out greatly. Walked in and they said it would be a 20-30 minute wait. We were fine with that. They then immediately sat two parties that came in after us at tables. We asked if those folks had reservations and they said no! They don't take reservations. They said they were seating us now though. They put us at a high pub table that my girlfriend can't reach the seat comfortably. We asked for a table or booth please, the hostess just rolled her eyes and left us standing there. I've been to many of the Miller ale houses in Florida. They are usually pretty good but this being a new location, maybe they need a few more weeks before they become very good. They need some work. I usually sit at the bar were you get really good service. Not today. Service was ok. The were two people. A Guy and a lady. Lady was good, guy was pleasant and talking with people but you have to take care of the other people also. But that will become better with time. I ordered the ol reliable French Dip. I received a soggy sangwich cut diagonally the long way. I could not eat it with my hands bc it would just fall apart. Knife and fork was used and that's ok but please, not soggy. My son ordered the salmon plate. He liked it so i guess it was ok. So, service was ok. Food was ok. Atmosphere was good. People around us were fun and playful. So in all, we had a good experience.
