I am so disappointed with the service I received today. I have been coming to this location for years throughout each month and experienced such terrible service today. The server took over 10 minutes to take my order or even give water. The waiter named Lisa then informed me that she could not serve my mother alcohol because I did not have my license on me. I am 29 years old and have been a regular there for years... I understand not serving me but refusing to take my mother's order is unheard of. I will not be coming back to this location ever again and would rather drive further away to a bar that has better service. I do not recommend this bar. read more

I've been coming to Miller's Ale house in Paramus, for a long time, and it used to be one of my favorite spots. The food has always been solid, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere was always welcoming. However, lately, there has been a noticeable issue that's hard to ignore--the smell coming from the bathrooms and what seems to be a sewage problem. It's like a wind of sewage! It's unfortunate because this place has so much potential, but the odor really takes away from the experience at the outside bar. I hope management addresses this soon because I'd love to keep coming back and enjoying everything else this place does well. Until then, it's tough to fully enjoy a meal or drinks with that lingering smell. If they fix this, it's easily back to a five-star spot. But for now, it's something that needs attention. read more

A good go-to place to watch a game and have your typical bar food. Their lunch specials and happy hour specials are pretty great and cost-effective. The one issue I have is for their late night special. They advertise these appetizers for under $10, but you really only save literally 50 cents or so from the regular price. False advertising. This location is always crowded so they struggle to keep the place clean as evidenced by their sticky floors. The food is whatever but not surprising considering how crowded the place is. What you see is what you get here (other than the sneaky late-night app special), but a good backup choice for gatherings with your friends to watch a game. read more

We ordered from Miller's Ale House via a delivery app last night. We got the wings, fried shrimp dinner (comes with a side of your choice), a side salad (extra cost, not included with dinner), 2 French onion soups, and a flatbread. They didn't include my side with the fried shrimp dinner. I ordered broccoli and it was not included although it showed on the receipt. They also didn't include the cocktail sauce so I had to eat dry shrimp without any sauce. The menu description says it's supposed to come with the cocktail sauce. The flatbread and wings were good, there weren't any issues with those. The French onion soup was ok, but the cheese wasn't melted. It was just slabs of minimally melted cheese on top of the soup. The side salad was generous, but all the lettuce on the bottom of the container was all brown and gross looking. I think they saw it and didn't care, because why was all these bad pieces of lettuce on the bottom, with the fresh lettuce covering it up? This is the stuff I would expect from a fast food restaurant, not a place like this, that charges way more for their food than fast food. It was definitely busier than I expected it to be, but it was nice that they had the patio opened, which did have less tables. Most of the tables have a heater so that kept my party warm. The food was okay, and the drinks were pretty decent. I tried the strawberry mules and a blackberry burgeon which was also delicious, but strong. For dinner I had the fish and chips where was good, the fries were excellent. The fish was a bit more greasier than I would have liked, but that's what a drink is for! read more

The bartender Agata is an absolute GEM. Beer was always on time and food was ordered correctly. Whenever I'm in this area this spot is the place to be!!! Atmosphere is a big thing for me and this place has it all!! Pictures are a margarita pizza which my business partner couldn't finish because the Mini-Mex nachos where amazing. (Shhhhhhh..... I went to this restaurant because I was looking for some classic American food to share with my family for one of my children's birthdays. The place is quite spacious, many tables, I didn't have to wait, as soon as we arrived they assigned us a table. The attention to the diner is good. I definitely recommend the Tex-Mex Nachos entry, it is incredible. My son was fascinated with the classic Cheeseburger, I gave the Prime Burger 5 good stars since it seemed like a good size and flavor. The BBQ Ribs also have good flavor. We came here with high expectations... What a let down. The chicken wings weren't crispy, they barely had sauce on them and were sitting in grease, very unpleasant! We also had mozzarella sticks, which weren't anything special. The burger are the ONLY reason this place got 2 stars. They were good, flavor and temperature wise. After the burgers came we had to literally chase down the waiter. He was missing most of the time we were there. He was slow and tried to remember orders but had to come back to the table to confirm multiple times. Just use a note pad and write the orders down! Ate this restaurant during a brief visit to NJ. It was a good ale house/bar, similar to others. Of course, there is bar food served here and it was pretty good. Had a fried food platter and it was good. The drinks were also not bad - beer and cocktail options are available. Staff/servers were friendly and helpful. The restauarant is located on a main road/highway in a shopping center area. So there is plenty of parking. Driving or Uber would be your best bet for getting there, unless there is public transportation that drops you close by. read more

Love going to Millers Ale House every time I'm in Florida. This was my first time (and last) visiting the Paramus location. We got seated right before 5:00. Shortly after, our waiter Berny approached us and asked for our order. He followed it up by saying that he was about to leave so he wanted to take our order and bring us the check right after. It was obvious he wanted to collect the tip for minimal work before leaving but I didn't pay any mind to it at the time. Shame on me, I left my standard tip minutes after sitting down. I was not expecting to get abandoned for the remainder of our meal. He literally took the tip, changed clothes and was out the door. Did not pass our table off to anyone else. Nobody came for the hour we were there so we couldn't refill our beers, order dessert or get boxes to pack up our meals. Great place to party and grab a drink. The crowd varies young kids on a Thursday to Monday night football. I love this place because it is so big! You can get lost in there, the food is great. I usually almost always get the Zingers, that's just my "go-to" meal. The big red sand which is pretty good also, along with the zinger mountain melt. (You can do without the bacon). The drinks there are great, they do happy hour a lot. The bartenders are super sweet, happy and cool when you get to know them. The managers, eh not to sure about them. Okay... I'm usually not a picky person with my food. And I hate being that asshole... but this was one of the most disappointing meals of my life. Came in at around 1 in the morning with 4 other friends. This review is solely based on their food. So I asked the waitress if they had piña coladas. She hesitated for a bit, but said "yes". The drink that I got was definitely NOT a piña colada. It was literally pineapple juice and crushed ice. No alcohol, NO COCONUT........ look at the picture. It didn't taste horrible. I only drank some of it because I was extremely thirsty and our waitress also took forever to get us water... I ordered the chicken zingers, half with garlic parmesan sauce and half with Korean BBQ sauce. I guess she misunderstood me because she gave me 2 of the sauces on the side instead of half of each on the chicken themselves. The chicken was a bit dry. Not tender at all. And the garlic parmesan sauce was.... sad?!? It just looked like a glob of melted garlic sauce with a few pieces of parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top.... what. The korean BBQ sauce was okay.... didn't have a spicy kick. Overall I am extremely disappointed. I would have walked out if it weren't for my friends being there to be honest. How have I not reviewed this spot?! I've been here a few times usually to catch a game and it was actually the first establishment that I dined inside during the pandemic! Basing this review during COVID, every other table was blocked off in order to adhere to social distancing rules and I did see Hand Sanitizer spread throughout the restaurant which made me feel at ease. I usually order this amazing chicken sandwich but honestly I have not had a bad meal here. During my latest visit, we all got Rib Eyes which was perfectly cooked. We happened to randomly stumble upon this place. It happened to be game night and the place was packed. This is a huge restaurant with a lot of seating and plenty of parking outside. We had to wait to be seated. Each night has a special and we were there on Prime rib night but unfortunately they ran out of prime rib. The service was decent nothing to write home about. We got the zinger mountain and it comfortably fed two people. Lots of drink options as well. They seem to have a lot of specials going on as well. Overall a great spot for the sports bar ambience, being in the presence of a large group of people, very loud and gamey with good company. read more
