It's a standard run of the mill bar. That's a good thing. If you want some pub food, here it is.

Miller's Ale House 270 Route 4 East Paramus, NJ 07652 Fish and Chips Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac & cheese Rib Eye Captain Jack's Buried Treasure If you available on weekdays from 11 AM to 4 PM, you'll find a great deals on their lunch special menus. Fish & Chips: The price of the fish & chips is fantastic, but the taste is okay. The dipping discs for the fish is only limited to tartar. Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac & Cheese: The deluxe Mac and cheese is probably better if it's served as a supplement to an entrée instead of as a main course. Rib Eye: This 12 ounce steak was costlier than the lunch specials, but it was larger in size and better in taste. The meat was cooked medium rare and it was quite fulfilling. Captain Jack's Buried Treasure: The ice cream cake is Miller's signature dessert. You'll never get bored of this treasure. Don't forgot to ask for extra fudge - the more the merrier. In addition to the great food, I was also pleased with the friendly service. Thank you, Amanda for taking care of us! #millersnjalehouse #millersalehouse #captainjacksburiedtreasure #ribeye #chickenbaconranchmacandcheese #fishandchips

Tonight was good. We get the usual - wings - love them! Shrimp and chicken Cobb salad! The chicken quesadillas were very good! Yum. Service was good. My husband loves to watch the games and it's so close and convenient!

The perfect place for a cold beer. Crystal our bartender was fantastic! Despite the heat this girl was movin! The bar was pretty full, even though the AC wasn't working well she worked her tail off. We had an order of crab legs and a fish sandwich which were pretty good. There was a nice crowd in the bar a nice mix of young and older. Even though it was warm in the bar the heat outside was so overwhelming I enjoyed my time there anyway. I noticed some slacking off on the service in bar area. After we ate no one was around to clear the table, I had to ask the bartender to clear the plates. In the past they always had people there doing that job and now I saw no one doing it. Maybe immigration enforcement is having an impact on workers here too. Damn shame.

Great lunch special and super DUPER friendly service. This review is solely based on the lunch special food and our experience during lunch on a weekday, but I don't see a reason why the rest of their food or the experience would be any different. We FINALLY decided to visit Miller's Ale House after years of passing by it and gave it a chance on a recent Friday afternoon. As expected, it was fairly quiet, but there were still 5-7 tables occupied. First, this location is HUGEEEEE like a cavern. Tables and booths as far as the eye can see. Like any great sports bar, there are TVs that line every wall so that you don't miss the action. Basically, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Since we arrived at around 12pm, it was the heart of the "Lunch Break", which goes from 11AM - 4PM on weekdays. On the "Lunch Break" menu, you'll find VERY reasonably priced lunch items of which I ordered the English Pub Fish & Chips and my better half ordered the Dad's Homemade Meatloaf. Not having much expectations, the food was FANTASTIC. The beer-battered white fish from the Fish & Chips were SUPER HOT and EXTRA CRISPY. Lightly battered with a thin crust, but fried to perfection. Honestly, it was some of the best fish and chips I've had in recent memory. It was so light. I could have devoured another 5 pieces. Also, the fries that were served with it were also very hot, crispy and excellent. Not much changed with the meatloaf as it was delicious too. It was served with a vegetable medley and mashed potatoes, which were nice sides. As for service, our waitress was very friendly and quick. In addition, we were greeted by 2 other employees asking us how our experience was. Not sure if it was because they found out that it was our first time there, but, nevertheless a nice gesture. We only came here for lunch, so I can't tell you what the atmosphere is like on football game days or in the evening, but I'm sure this place must get packed because it seems like the perfect place to catch a game with some friends or family. Due to our very, verrrrry positive 1st experience here, we're definitely going to make a return trip for lunch or even dinner.

The food was amazing as always, the service can't be matched. My drinks were filled without asking and I felt like I was in my living room enjoying the game, nothing more I can of ask service wise, and the hospitality at this place is unmatched!!! Special appreciation to Machaela for the service !

Mixed experience here. Food wise, traditional bone-in wings, medium heat, were good. The chicken nachos platter was big - enough for our table of six, as was the huge Bavarian pretzel. Entrees were OK - my 'Que Burger was good - I swapped out fries for their homemade kettle chips for an up-charge but worth it! French Dip looked good and so did the fish n chips platter. The wait staff was unorganized and couldn't find the QR Code for our phones to see their local craft beer listing. Took them like 15 minutes of several people trying to find where it was. This is an "Ale House" so we didn't think we were asking too much to see those beer selections. Finally, they found it and we were able to enjoy some local brews! The Ghost Hawk Apex Predator hazy IPA (Clifton NJ) was really good!! All-in-all: fun spot, tons of TVs in the patio backroom section with their windows open on this unusually warm late October weekend.

I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.

He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent. He was such a good communicator and kept me in the loop with timelines and was overall very organized. He played a significant role in the night going as well as it did. The food is where it was a bit disappointing to me. I can appreciate the wide variety of items on the menu, but not when the quality varies so much. We ordered a few pasta dishes (one that was on the daily special), a few taco dishes, an order of wings and the brussel sprouts. All of the pasta dishes were huge disappoints. They looked like pasta dishes from Applebees. The sauces were very runny and the kids pastas were the most basic pastas that were way overpriced for what they were. My daughter who loves pastas only ate about 1/3 of it and told me she didn't like it. The wings were dry and not saucy enough. The tacos were OK. The brussel sprouts were the only standout dish that we ordered. I liked their extensive draft beer menu though. Lots of variety to choose from and the drinks were fresh. Overall, I'd certainly come back here and hope that I pick some better food choices or a big improvement on the food quality, but a fun place to hang out at.

The lunch offer is valid Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Hackensack Musket Haze Draft Beef: There was a variety of ten different draft beers to select. I don't order from the tap often, so I wasn't familiar with the beers. Before making my decision, Server Marcos was kind enough to let me sample it to be sure I I would like it. The IPA was fantastic. It was served chilled with a bit of foam up top. There was a hint of citrus and it had a smooth taste. Unfortunately, free refills are not included with the lunch special. Smash Cheeseburger & Fries: This is a perfect lunch serving portion as it will definitely keep you full until supper time. The double patty was served on a potato roll with special sauce and toppings; it didn't disappoint. The proportion of fries could have been a bit larger, but it they were still tasty. There are several flat screen HDTVs for patrons that enjoy watching sports as they wine and dine. If you enjoy the nightlife or clubbing atmosphere, a silver disco ball is adorned at the center of the restaurant. There is a decently sized outdoor seating area, which includes one semi-circular booth. As a bonus, if you want to purchase any bottled or canned beverages to bring home, there is a liquor store conveniently attached to the pub.
