Today I visited this restaurant with my family and, unfortunately, we had an extremely unpleasant experience. The owner was very rude and treated my children with complete disrespect, which is absolutely unacceptable in a place that should be welcoming to families. In addition, the restaurant is visibly dirty and in urgent need of renovations. The bathroom, in particular, is very old and was in terrible condition--so filthy that it was truly disgraceful. The lack of cleanliness and care shows a complete disregard for customers. read more

Been steadily going down hill for the past few years but I'm completely done as of today. Would you eat fries dripping from oil with unmelted cheese on top? How about sausage that's so dried out that it's curled up and cant even bite through it like leather? How about pancakes that are about half inch thick and weigh about 1 1/2 lbs each because there's too much flour and no eggs in batter. Called the owner over and blamed it on my friend and me because he thinks his food is fine and we can leave if we don't like it. So yup .. that's just what we did and we will never go back. Bob (owner) who by the way only takes cash , , yeah we all know what that's about ..has become very nasty in his old age years. Best value in Long Branch!! Food is always fantastic regardless if we eat there or call in an order to-go. This place is a little bit of a throwback diner. This breakfast/lunch place is a long branch staple. It's been around for years. I used to go and have breakfast all the time with my grandmother. The food is classic breakfast, bacon, eggs, hash, etc. but always made well. The decor is a little bare bones but the food and company is what makes a meal. There are always friendly regulars and the service is solid. read more

Really four stars? I'm into local businesses just like the next person. The pancakes are horrendous. Literally like lead baskets and reeking of rancid grease. Trust me the food is horrible. It's a filthy place and just have a look at the bathrooms if you don't believe. Long Branch health department must be slipping or getting paid off. I'm all for family business, but come on. The food is atrocious and the decor is disgusting. Slam some roaches while there. We've gone 3 times to give them the benefit of the doubt. Really go to the Hungry Hobo for an old time luncheonette. Millers, a childhood favorite my mom would always take me here all the time. The waiters are very nice the food is very good and it's pretty cheap.The area is nice and it makes you feel at home. I highly recommend going here if you're passing by. read more

Well kept greasy spoon in an transitional neighborhood. I was impressed with the breakfast offerings and the prices at Miller's. I had a omelet which was good. My friend had the French toast, and said it was excellent. Great place to stop if you are in the area. There is plenty of parking in the back. read more

The google maps site https://millers-luncheonette.edan.io/ doesn't do you any favors. I look for menus over all. The hours are good, other stuff just seems superfluous. I don't know what your are paying for the .io extension, but it's too much. Assuming you are great, looking forward to my first meal there. read more

Today me and my family went in to have some brunch. We arrived at 11:30 and were seated. By 12:30 our food was still not served. We we're not even asked or offered for refills on our drinks while we waited. When I asked the waitress how much longer because we had already been waiting an hour. She rudely turned around and told me she had told us there was a wait. Which she had not. However when I was placing my order she had also made a rude comment that a whole sub may be to much. The food is delicious. The place is a little old school, and at first glance looks a bit run down, but don't let this be a deterrent. I've been eating breakfast here for 20 years. This is an old school luncheonette and my favorite place to go in the morning. The service and food is always great. New specials are always added and worth a try. The eclectic mix of customers makes this a must-go if you're a people watcher. If you didn't have a recommend to come here, you'd drive right by. And for dessert, the prices are crazy low. I haven't eaten lunch here for a while but what originally hooked me here was a killer tuna melt but I haven't had it for years. This is my kind of place! Nothing fancy but it's kind of a diamond in the rough. It has an old-school lunch counter w/the grill behind the counter. Very friendly vibe and service. Drove by this place for years...finally tried it. Hole in the wall kinda place. Prices are great, what I would expect to pay for a lil local breakfast spot. My only gripe was when I ordered bacon it look like it was fried yesterday, hard, whitish, and cold. Everything else...potatoes...eggs...toast..was great. The great thing about New Jersey is that there are plenty of good places to get breakfast , plenty of good diners . This is not one of them. It's below average, bland food with a dirty dining room . I just went there with a friend, she got a western omelet, that wasn't good at all, and they charged her extra for peppers and onions which come in a western omelet. They changed me 3 dollars extra for beef sausage and a dollar extra for turkey bacon. Somehow our meal that should've been 13 dollars, came out to 20. read more
