I got the chicken gyro plate and substituted my fries for a salad. If I wasn't able to do this I would only rate this place a 2.5 stars. My salad was good but the chicken gyro had dry chicken and the bread was too hard. This gyro was the worst I ever had but still wasn't awful. Not terrible, but not good. Had a Very bland taste. The Greek sauce was put in a single blob in 1 spot rather than being distributed evenly throughout. The male cashier was nice and brought my plate to my table but if you're looking for a tasty mouth watering gyro don't come here! read more

Went there and the chick in the front was rude as hell. We accidently walked in front of her and said excuse me and she just shook her head all frustrated with us. Asked if they had warm water and she said no. So this establishment doesn't have warm water, even a microwave. Would never go there again. Needed to warm my infants milk so I didn't have to breastfeed in public. Honestly, place probably wasn't bad but the worker, which was a heavy set Caucasian unhappy with her life goals was a bitch to us. read more

Today was my first visit to Milo's. Had lunch and really enjoyed it. I ordered a Gyro with lamb and my husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. Both items were well prepared, tasted fresh, and our tummys were full after cleaning our plates. Considering the Gyro, better than Daphene's (and their sides are better. I had fries, which were great). Reasonable prices, friendly service, good food. I will return and hope Milo's sticks around for the long haul. read more

Omg, this place sets the benchmark in every category as a business. The most friendly staff and owner, amazingly hot and fresh sandwiches, and convenient too. Best place to eat in Rocklin. I love their Gyro and their burgers are pretty good too. They serve them with either the fries or a Greek salad, it's always a hard choice because both are good. The cheese steak sandwiches are good too but sometimes they are mostly bread. Overall, this place deserves a rating of more than 5 stars. Their service is friendly and genuine too. I drive so far to get to this place it's not even funny. This place is definitely better than the one at the mall and Roseville location. I normally order the Greek salad or Philly Cheesesteak. The Gyro is not bad either. I wish they would open one in Sacramento, so I wouldn't have to drive so far, but they have to open the same one as Rocklin because I'm not too fond of the Galleria or Roseville location. read more

Just left Milo's in Rocklin and I have to say I am positively stunned. My boyfriend and I had stopped by Jamba Juice and on a spur of the moment decision decided to visit Milo's (due to positive reviews about their food) to grab a quick gyro. We placed our order, sat down, and within sixty seconds the attending waitress placed my money in front of me on the table, muttered something unintelligible and walked away. We were left clueless. My boyfriend walked up to the counter to ask what was wrong as we couldn't hear and/or understand what the waitress said and an older man (we are assuming is the owner) very gruffly said, "we are out of gyros and no outside food or drink". He then proceeded to tell us have a great day and to leave. Now, this is the first review I have ever given on Yelp and I have encountered poor customer service before - but this has to take the cake. I can understand no outside food or drinks (totally a misstep if there is even a sign in the restaurant we missed), but the lack of professionalism and ability to practice the basic components of customer service apalled us. Had it been addressed at our order being taken, or even after with an iota of courtesy this review wouldn't be being written. I am severely disappointed we didn't get to try their food after all the great reviews - but we honestly have no desire to go back after such treatment. read more

This would have been our first time. Nearby appointments causes us to frequent this area now and we were looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, some very large and extremely rude woman turned us off to this place entirely!!!! As usual, first time somewhere creates a lot of questions as you want to know things, etc to make your determinations as to what to order. Plus my wife has medical issues that force us to be rather picky about certain things she'd like to try or have. So we were shocked by her attitude at being asked about their pastrami. She replied very indignantly that it was sliced and when its sliced, we always ask for a small sample to see if it's something my wife can eat. Have NEVER been turned down before at countless places!!! We were rudely told NO along with a nasty look on her face and when I turned to my wife to find out what she might want to do, she was shaking her head no and this set the woman off, causing her to throw her hand in the air with a dismissive flip of her hand, a grunt and she turns around to walk away. My wife and I didn't even say a thing to each other, didn't look at each other... we both just turned around and walked out... We usually order A LOT of food when we go somewhere new, just to get an overall feel of the place and if it's good, we eat there A LOT!!! So needless to say, NEVER gonna go there again!!! read more
