The ambience and space is beautiful and has a great little kid corner for little ones to play while parents sit back and enjoy their drinks. Mocha latte: sold to me as "very rich" but fell short - was expecting something more along the lines of thick melted chocolate in coffee with steamed milk but instead ended up with a drink that was lacking in that richness factor that you expect with chocolate. Maybe ordering the large just increased the milk content to without a proportionate increase to chocolate. Espresso: a little on the acidic side, which we did not personally like. Would come back to try some of their special drinks such as the apple cider chai or PSL. read more

The service was okay. The food i haven't tried yet but the drinks were not good. I got a matcha and it taste like drinking water. Then even though the drink I barely drank i order another drink and it taste like milk in a cup and bc I didn't like my first drink the employee tells the employee making jokes "she didn't like how you make it" and starts laughing. Wow! I'm absolutely obsessed with this place. It is such a fantastic spot for hanging out to get some work done, read, or play a game with friends. This is the number one breakfast place on the entire planet. Guy Fierei should get there pronto. Where do we start? Perfectly made lemon ricotta pancakes. I went here for coffee and a pastry while out of town for a few days. It was a bit off the beaten path, down a side street so I had trouble finding it at first but it was a nice day so I parked and walked around. As soon as I walked in I saw a case of scones but to my dismay the door was left slightly open and flies were crawling on the exact scone I was eyeing. When I got to the counter I mentioned it to the girl who took my coffee order (even though at that point I wanted to reconsider but I try to be understanding). After she finished my coffee and I paid she did nothing to rectify the problem but immediately picked up her phone to start texting. Had a recommendation for this place so decided to try it out. Absolutely loved it! Started coming regularly until I had an incident with one of the baristas. I guess she misheard me when I ordered and when she gave me the drink I kindly stated that this wasn't what I ordered. Immediately her kind energy was gone. In place was the most aggressive just plain mean energy I've felt EVER. Gave me the ugliest look and then asked me what I wanted so I told her and she made it for me and basically slammed it on the counter. I was polite and said thank you and as soon as I turned my back she started talking about me to another customer. I immediately turned around and said you could be a lot nice yknow, this is a coffee shop and things like this can happen. It's not a big deal and you don't need to be so hateful. And she just started yelling at me about how my money is more important than this shop and whatnot. Just mean and yelling at me saying random stuff. I was really upset walking out of there and haven't been back since. Will never go back. So mean for no reason. My one huge complaint is the size of their large... its very small. If you are used to getting dunkin, I would honestly say mimis large feels smaller than dunkins medium. This place was very chill and spacious and if I recall, also had some things to read strewn about here and there. The coffee was good. As for the pastry, I'm admittedly a bit of a pastry snob. I opted for one of their 'scones', but I would not have considered it a true scone. The texture of their scone was soft and muffin-like/cake-like. A true scone should be firm, dry, and in some instances, 'crumbly'. The scone I had at Mimi's was none of those things. read more

Came here with a friend today to study. The shop was bustling with families, students, and people meeting to catch up between the days activities. Great atmosphere and music with plenty of comfortable seating. Even though it was busy at noon when we arrived we were able to find somewhere to sit with enough room to get work done. When it came time to order the staff was very friendly and willing to offer suggestions if asked. My friend and I both ended up ordering a large cinnamon maple latte and an egg wrap. We did not have to wait long for our orders to be ready and everything was delicious and reasonably priced, around $12 for both items. Abundant parking in the area is free on Saturdays and Sundays which was a great bonus. Will definitely be revisiting Mimi's in the future. read more
