Grilled cheese, French onion soup, and fries

After my friend did not enjoy her lunch at Disneyland, we decided to eat here since it is right across from Disneyland. They did not give us a difficult time with our service dog. We opted for their half sandwich and soup combination. My colleague was not satisfied with her sandwich, but we both found the French onion soup to be enjoyable. Conversely, I personally savored my grilled cheese sandwich.

What a nice family restaurant. It has an extensive menu. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a variety of things like the crusted parmesan chicken, pot roast and some pastries. The chicken was tender tied in well with the linguine and flavorful. The pot roast was a little strong in flavor and just ok. Corn Chowder was good with some bread on the side. The bread pudding was excellent for a great dessert. Overall, a great dining experience. I would visit here again when I'm in the area

I was very pleasantly surprised with this visit to Mimi's. This restaurant was in our hotel parking lot and after a long day of travel we went here foe the convenience. We had 4 kids (our server was very tolerant ) and 4 adults in our party and there was truly something for everyone. Love that the kids meals come with so many sides so you don't have to choose and that you can order breakfast any time - even for dinner! The kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. I appreciated that the menu indicated ways to make items vegan/vegetarian and that their were options beyond just your typical veggie burger. I had the mushroom and onion melt (minus the Brie and butter) and then swapped for a side of steamed broccoli - delicious!! My meat eating family all enjoyed their meals - burgers, steak and for the hungry kids...bread while they waited. I also was surprised to find out it's a French themed restaurant and the decor really does make you feel like you've been transported to Europe - or at least be French Quarter in New Orleans

What happened to the bread basket???? Very sad 1/10

Very very sad... one of the reason I enjoy coming here is the bread service... unfortunately, there is none... when I asked the server brought out some very sad looking bread that didn't look very appealing... used to love the pumpkin loaf and sour dough... you can look at past photos and see what it used to look like... sadly it's just a memory... and the food quality and service seemed tired and lacking... the french dip was slightly cold as well as the fries... the au jus too salty... and the beef was like it came from a package... the salad leaves were not even cut up... and it was not fresh... I think the only reason this Mimi's is still in business is because it's next to Disneyland and there is a constant stream of customers... and the management does not care... I will not be back...

The organization of the restaurant isn't the best, our waitress was amazing. She did great but she had like 10 tables and we were a table of 10. So I felt really bad for her. The food came out cold, and for the eggs benedict the eggs were boiled so that was interesting. The flavor was great though; the food was still yummy. Also for the mimosa flight we got served the juice in glasses and was handed a tiny serving of champagne. It wasn't enough to even fill all 3 glasses. It's definitely a good restaurant just not great.

Want a piece of hair with your egg..it's free!

I should have known it was empty, and it was 730am, breakfast time! I ordered, nothing difficult, eggs bendict--eggs medium well..what I got..runny almost raw eggs, NASTY! Yes I sent it back...all while I waited for my food another couple sat down, ordered, ate and left....when my "fixed meal" came out...IT HAD A HAIR in it! I asked for the manager, and had to wait...and wait...and wait...when he came out he said "I can comp your meal"...OF COURSE you can..I DIDNT EAT ANYTHING! I don't know who is running this Mimi's but clearly they have no restaurant training...comp my meal, I didn't eat anything...the place smelled like old mop water..and like I said, I should have known I was the only one in there until the other couple came in...and this is right next to Disneyland and ALL the hotels!!! GROSS GROSS GROSS

Lobster bisque was super creamy, delicious. French onion was surprisingly mild, not heavy on the salt, very nice. I got the tenderloin, which was fine. But I also wanted to be real, and not hype up the experience. To celebrate Disney's 70th, we decided to have a park day and dinner at Club 33. Our reservation was on a Saturday night. The restaurant has moved since the last time I was there, so it took us a few minutes to figure that out. Once arrived, we were greeted warmly and given time to enjoy the courtyard and take photos. We sat on the baloney, facing the rivers of America, and I loved it. It was cozy and felt more intimate than the dining room. The prix fixe 4 course menu was $195, and $295 with wine pairing. Tropical storm (mocktail) - this was not part of the prix fixe. It was very refreshing and yummy The complimentary dinner rolls were amazing. I had to restrain myself from stuffing myself on the rolls. First course: Saffron Tagliatelle Pacific White shrimp - Both dishes were good and had good flavors. Second course: Roasted bone marrow - Very disappointed with this dish, and I love bone marrow. It was served on a bed of salt rocks that were EXTREMELY salty. I had to be super careful when scooping the bone marrow out. If it dropped and touched the salt rocks slightly, it became inedible. It was way way way too salty. Entree: Colorado lamb rack American Wagyu eye of Ribeye - Our server HIGHLY recommended both dishes, and unfortunately both dishes missed the mark. The ribeye was overcooked for medium rare and tough to chew. I had a hard time finishing it. The rack of lamb was okay but lacked flavors. We didn't say anything, because we didn't want to come across as difficult or demanding. Finale: Citrus Cheesecake Pineapple sticky toffee pudding - both desserts were pretty decent. After our dinner, we were told that we could stay and watch Fantasmic from the balcony. We were not rushed to leave which was nice. Overall, 5 stars for the services, ambience and all the charm. Food wise, it was a 3 for me. The experience itself was special and Im truly grateful for it.

The Hobbit Where do I even begin?…read more This place is magnificent, spectacular, and truly majestic. Every dish is beautifully created with an incredible level of attention to detail you can feel the care, artistry, and intention behind every course. The chefs here are doing something truly special. This is absolutely a special-occasion restaurant: anniversaries, milestone birthdays, wedding dinners, or a once-in-a-lifetime date night. You will be spending a pretty penny, but that's because this is not an everyday Friday-night dinner spot it's a full culinary experience. If I had the budget, I'd come every week... maybe twice. Dinner is a multi-course tasting experience that begins around 5 PM and carries you through the evening you'll likely be there until 10 PM or later. There's a wine cellar, curated pairings, and an atmosphere that feels intimate, elevated, and deeply intentional. This place is clearly designed for guests with an elevated palate and a true appreciation for the culinary arts and thoughtfully sourced, curated dishes. For just my husband and me, we spent a little over $600 for the evening, and I can honestly say every single dollar was worth it. If you're someone who loves food, storytelling through cuisine, and unforgettable dining experiences, this is a must. You're able to interact with the chefs, the staff is incredibly hospitable and professional, and the entire experience feels warm yet refined. I truly cannot rave enough about this restaurant. I came here for my wedding anniversary, which is very special to me and I have a relatively young child and they were still able to accommodate this alone to me meant the world and for them to be able to accommodate to a small child was incredibly amazing. Booking was easy -I checked the site a day or so before and saw availability. Credit card needed to hold reservation -there's also a $3 service charge from OpenTable. Restaurant opens at 6pm for cocktail hours downstairs in cellar. Each cocktail is $20 and there's a board where people can ham n cheese bites with napkins -but there was a lot of bare hands touching/pulling the food. ..not appetizing at all. Foodwise -every single bite was paired with mediocrity. The overly salted amuse.. overcooked quail on top of a chalky purple yam smear, a too rare filet with a thick grey band (requested medium but this was basically blue). The lobster glazed cod was fishy -poor quality fish it seems. ...Strong flavors that don't complement one another was the theme. Also sat there awkwardly while everyone else was eating desserts. I had to flag down a waitress and ask for my dessert -she replied that there was confusion and something about togo ? I eventually got my dessert -chocolate shell with basically heavy cream -not even ice cream/mousse inside. I was in disbelief the whole meal. Even the plates were hotter than the actual food it held. How is this restaurant considered upscale and classy. It's overly expensive for mediocrity. This is a pretty scathing review and this is unfortunately a second revision, a "nicer" draft... A few of our coworkers raved about this place -might have a word with them next week. Lead astray. I think the bill was $500-$600 ? Would have been happier at Mastros.

The beet and goat cheese salad as well as the basque cheesecake were the stars of the show, per usual. I'm glad they validate 100% of parking fees for restaurant diners as well since Top of V is located within a hotel.

To our surprise, we were so thrilled to see Colony Wine Merchant had a good sized menu with various options to choose from: small bites, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We weren't too hungry so we opted for the daily sandwich of the day and their seasonal soup offering. Every bite from both items was enjoyed so much. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+. Every interaction from when we first walked in the door, being seated, being provided food recommendations, was a great experience. The ambiance is perfectly casual with a slight elevatedness to it. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress or tux to come here but it's definitely a perfect date night place or to come with friends and loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal followed by great wine. We were on a time crunch and wish we would have stayed to enjoy an actual entree but look forward to being back in town and visiting Colony Wine Merchant again.
