We had a great experience at Mimi's right across from where we were staying for our Disneyland trip, the Courtyard Marriott in Anaheim! Delicious food and great service. Very family friendly. We even got muffins to eat for breakfast tomorrow before heading to the park. Highly recommend! Would definitely come back. PS the Apple crisp crumble was our fave dessert! read more

We went here for brunch and really liked it. The service was very quick and overall friendly. I got the avocado toast which was my least favorite thing on the menu, the poached eggs were good, but the bread was regular white bread. I was expecting some more flavor. The value for money on that was slightly low. My husband got the huevos rancheros which was pretty great. He loved it. The kids got eggs and grilled cheese. Both were good. The kid meal also came with a pudding which was just a snack pack. The ambiance was friendly, warm and welcoming not too crowded. The wait on Saturday morning was pretty non existent. read more

I visited Mimi's on Thanksgiving morning primarily because there weren't many restaurants open. Surprisingly, the place was packed. We were greeted upon entry and seated near the door. My sister and I both ordered the french toast. I had the bacon and she had the corned beef hash. We also had the orange juice which was slightly bitter and didn't seem very fresh. The food was decent but wasn't anything spectacular. The restaurant was clean though and our server was prompt. Given the limited options, this choice was fairly acceptable. read more

Walked in and saw that the place wasn't very busy. We drove for 5 hours and we were hungry. Got seated right away. There were about 3 or 4 tables with people at them when we got there. (In the area we were seated in). Looked through the menu and decided on our dinner within 5 minutes. After 15 mins of waiting and not being acknowledged, we left. I mean, no one even offered us something to drink. The hostess sat us and that was it. Again, it's not like the place was slammed. read more

Everything was great. This Mimi's seems so different from the ones in other areas of Southern California. Ordered two bowls of soup to start off with. Alexis was our waitress and was fantastic. Brought us each two tiny bowls with couple of tbs of each salt to check for salt. Can't have much. They were perfect. Came with warm bread and butter. The entree of baked chicken looked delicious. We called on Sunday evening on December 21st about 2 hours ahead to see if they would be able to host a party of 21 to 27 people for our family reunion. And they did! Our server Daisy took excellent care of us despite the large group, and some of us swapping seats to chat for a bit. Food was tasty and everyone we interacted with was very welcoming. Came here the other day before heading to Disneyland. It was a great spot to hit before Disney as it's down the street. I ordered their seasonal potato Benedict. It was alright. Nothing to run home to tell anyone about but it was decent. I think the pumpkin pancakes are much better but it's hard to compare those food types. Like always I'll come back and try something new to expand my horizon. The server was very kind and helpful. Nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was calm even being near Disney but it could also be the early morning too. read more

Would not come here again. Service was not good. Had to chase our server to get ketchup after waiting for more than 5min with no site of our server. He saw I needed a coffee refill didn't even ask if I wanted more or brought more. The corn beef hash was not good. All I tasted was green onion. Couldn't even eat it. The muffin was super good and the corn chowder. I would recommend that. read more

It's been a long time since I've been here but surprisingly the food is still good and the best part of breakfast was the little slices of sourdough bread in the basket. Had the Fish and Chips. Came out nice and hot and the fries were crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. Wish they gave more tartar sauce. The coleslaw wasn't anything impressive. Personally, I just feel like Mimi's is overpriced for the food they make. I expect more tidy plating and bigger portions for a place that's an average of $20 per person. read more

Mimi's Cafe is a wonderful place to have breakfast. The environment is cozy and everything we ordered was delicious. My kiddo was delighted when their pancakes arrived in the shape of a puppy dog! We especially enjoyed the tasty muffins, served warm with butter on the side. We tried the pineapple upside down, blueberry and banana chocolate chip and liked them so much we took some home with us. After three delightful but grueling days in Disneyland Park, we decided we needed a pleasant quiet dinner by ourselves. Just across the street from the main entry to Disneyland is Mimi's Cafe. We had googled their menu while in the park and were encouraged by what we saw to choose from. Our waiter Andrés was delightful!!! It is always a challenge for me to eat out with my serious dietary restrictions. But Andres was more than happy to assist and make sure I could safely eat and enjoy a delicious customized dinner. He made multiple trips back to the kitchen to confer with the chefs to make sure there would be no cross-contamination and no items would slip through that would impact my serious food allergies. Our food was prepared Exactly as we requested and our dinner was most delightful! The service is impeccable and extremely attentive! Five stars to Andrés R. for making tonight's dinner the perfect ending to a wonderful visit to the Magic Kingdom. If I could give this place more stars I would. We went tonight Sept 12th around 8:30 pm 1. The place is adorable and clean. 2. The food. O my Gawd. I have had French onion soup in many places, this was the best I ever had, ever. It was the right amount of thick and the toast was perfect. My bf had the meat loaf w green beans. Delicious Just everything was great 3. Our waitress was named Sarahy. Yes Sarah w a Y. That is 100% appropriate. She was way better than basic. She was fantastic, I didn't feel very good from the heat and she made me feel like she actually cared. She took great care of us. She had a great personality and was crazy sweet. The first thing I want to say is that there's been many visits for food at this place and it was good everytime. This time we go with my sister she ordered banana pancakes and there pancakes arrive with soggy bananas which made her waffle taste funny. Absolutely impressed and happy w/our family dinner last night!!! From the start to finish, greeting, service, food and exit! We were so lucky to have Sara wait on us. She's amazing!!! She was very observant from the beginning to the end. She asked if we had any allergies, to allowing me to sample the soup before I decided to order it! I thought that was a very nice touch! Also, Sara arranged for the staff to help sing happy birthday to our son and she gave us an additional cake w/a candle on it to top it off. Sara was very attentive to every little detail from making sure our order was on point to always refreshing our drinks! She was very personable, patient, kind and friendly! It felt like we knew her from a long time ago! I have to say...I wish we still had a Mimi's Cafe in Vegas! The French Pot Roast is a must order!!! The meat just fell apart as I ate it (like, off the bone!) the sauce was also very yummy, seasoned right for sure! As well as the Tomato Basil soup!!! OMG...I loooove tomato basil soup. U have to try it there! Both my favs!!! Lastly, we all loved the Strawberry Lemonade! After a long day at Disneyland we walked over to Mimi's to eat. It has been 15 years since our last visit and we loved coming back. I'm actually surprised this place was listed as only 3 1/2 stars. I almost wanted to give them five stars to boost it. We chose this place because it was conveniently located right across from the Courtyard Marriott hotel we were staying at while we were visiting Disneyland. We went at an off time around 1:30 PM and the restaurant was empty. The service and staff were amazing and I wanted a healthy food option. The shrimp, spinach berry quinoa salad was amazingly good and had at least half a pint of blueberries on it. Our server was also amazing. We would definitely come back here for another meal. read more

The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+. Every interaction from when we first walked in the door, being seated, being provided food recommendations, was a great experience. The ambiance is perfectly casual with a slight elevatedness to it. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress or tux to come here but it's definitely a perfect date night place or to come with friends and loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal followed by great wine. We were on a time crunch and wish we would have stayed to enjoy an actual entree but look forward to being back in town and visiting Colony Wine Merchant again.

I recently had breakfast at Mimi's Cafe and my experience was a bit mixed. The food itself was about a 3 out of 5. It was decent and did the job, but nothing particularly memorable. It's the kind of breakfast that hits the spot if you're hungry, but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for. What concerned me more was what happened after I left. I accidentally left my wallet in the booth, and I realized it within about five minutes of leaving. I went straight back and told the staff, but they said it wasn't there. I checked the booth myself and even asked the people sitting in the booth in front of it if they had seen anything. We looked thoroughly and couldn't find it. At that point, I mentioned that I had headphones in my wallet that were pinging their location at the restaurant, and the reaction from the staff suddenly seemed a bit uneasy. I told them I'd be back in a few minutes and hoped they would locate it. When I returned about five minutes later, the wallet had suddenly been "found." Thankfully everything was still inside, but the whole situation felt very strange and a bit sketchy given how quickly it reappeared after the conversation about tracking the headphones. I even contacted the Anaheim Police Department afterward, and they mentioned that the area has had multiple theft reports, which made the situation feel even more concerning. To be fair, the food was okay, but my advice is simple: if you visit this location, be extremely careful with your personal belongings. "Mimi's is a chain and they are all the same - however, some have better service than others. That said, out of the two dozen times I have patronized them in over 8 locations, the service has been above average. The food is great, the portions are very large, and very reasonably priced. My only complaint is that they have updated the menu and it doesn't list everything you can order now. Favorite items include Blackened Chicken Tacos (not on the menu), Parmesan chicken, and Cobb salad (I recommend the mini unless you want a salad large enough for two). They bring complimentary fresh bread (raisin walnut and sour dough) with your drinks. They have the best muffins which are included with some meals. (Their blueberry is incredible.) They understand that toddlers grow hungry quickly. Depending on the server they will bring out crackers and cheerios with your drinks too (you can always ask if it isn't offered). The kid's meals include gummy worms in chocolate pudding with Oreo crumbs - a hit with my kids. This is very conveniently located near Disneyland. Mimi's has something for everyone. Although they appear to be French, they have all cuisines so don't be fooled by the name. One of the best values near Disneyland. Very large portions, great bread, and reasonable prices. (Reasonable in my opinion is $7 - 10 for an entree.)" read more

Stopped into Mimi's for lunch with a business associate. Was quickly seated in a clean booth, and a server took our order promptly. Ordered breakfast for lunch...love it when restaurants allow this! Mimi's doesn't offer truly healthy choices on their menus. I had ordered one of their healthy omlettes, but the portions were so huge, it was far from healthy...they must have used 5 eggs, it was so big! Their fresh fruit on the side wasn't so fresh, but their orange juice was fantastic. My client had a salad, and it was huge. He didn't finish it. Food arrives fast, and were in and out within 45 minutes, which was great. The prices are reasonable, considering the huge portions. If I was staying at a nearby hotel and visiting Disneyland, this would be a great choice for breakfast, as you'd walk off all those calories at the theme park. But if you're expected to work at a desk job or operate heavy machinery (and stay awake while doing so), Mimi's might not be your best choice. This Mimi's has a great location. Right next to Howard Johnson's and the Fairfield Inn. Both of which do not have a breakfast that the hotel gives them. We have eaten at this Mimi's each time we have gone to Disneyland. We have received superior service each time. We also take advantage of their take out service and eat in the hotel. One thing I have found is that when we leave the park, we will call and put our names on the waiting list. By the time we walk there, we have to wait no more than 2-4 minutes. That says a lot having small children. Everyone there has been at the parks all day long and all they want to do is eat and go to sleep. I am amazed what the servers there put up with in some of the patrons - yet keep a smle on their face. They do serve breakfast all day long and have special menus for light meals as well as for kids. Portions are big enough to split. The triple chocolate brownie is well worth splitting at the end of the day- and it costs about as much as a rice krispi treat inside Disneyland! read more

Convenient, yes. Across the street from 'the park,' yes. Clean, yes. However, this is about it for the restaurant. The once different theme in the area is gone. The feeling of walking into another over-used themes and sticky table tops is what one will find in this chain, along with plastic wrapped menu's with worn off edges and a a staff who barely speaks the local language; complete with piercings and tats. Not exactly what I was hoping for, as the coffee was cold and the meal flat tasting. Not going there again. Not to any Mimi's, they're off the charts and over-priced. Wasn't sure about Mimi's as the reviews were a little varied. So glad we took the chance as the experience was fantastic. From being greeted by the friendly host to our wonderfully attentive waitress Jacqueline (I'm sorry I hope I spelt it correct! ) everything was above and beyond what we expected. Food was outstanding - we got the Santa Fe omelette and the Cinnamon Bun French Toast with an extra side of corned beef hash to share. Wow, for the price - by far the best breakfast we have had in a long time. Will def be back the next time we are in town. Our server, Ricky, was absolutely fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations without being pushy. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. For dessert, I couldn't resist the apple pie, and it did not disappoint! I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. The food was not up to par, lacking flavor and freshness. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it seems like a received noodles and ketchup. Additionally, the service I received from the waitress was quite poor. She was rude and passive aggressive, making for a very uncomfortable dining experience. After I politely declined a take home box multiple times, she rudely forced the food in the box. This is terrible restaurant. Do not come here. I ordered 3 course meal for Thanksgiving online yesterday and was supposed to pick up at 11am today. Then, I have been waiting for an hour so far to pick up online order. Looks like they start cooking when person with online order shows up. I had about 12 people ahead in waiting line and still have 4 people. This is ridiculous. Only one staff is serving entire people with online order. Poor people behind me. My family and I had breakfast at this Mimi's and when we got our muffin we saw some "fuzz" in our butter, but ignored it. When the main course came we kept seeing little things of fluff flying around. We looked up and the lamp shade, pillars and curtains were covered in dust, as though they had no been dusted in ages. Open from 7 am to 10 pm, located at the Disney Hotel, anyone can visit, no need to be a hotel guest or have park passes. There's a patio, indoor seating, and a bar set in a tropical setting, and the hotel pools provide a relaxing atmosphere. We had a pleasant experience recently during early dinner. We spent most of the day in the parks and wanted to get the new Dole Whip POG with a 15th Anniv. souvenir cup, grab a couple of specialty drinks, and order some food. We found a table inside and ordered food by mobile. We went to the bar to get the Dole Whip and cocktails. We didn't wait too long in line before placing our orders with the bartender. I got the Hippopotomaitai without the souvenir cup. It was refreshing and hit the spot. My BIL got the Uh Oa!, without the souvenir cup, and it was a two-person cocktail. No wonder it was $29. The Dole Whip POG (Pineapple, Orange, and Guava juice) was an instant classic. Always a good time for a Dole Whip. For food, we shared the Tempura-battered Green Beans, which were delicious and came with a Togarashi Aïoli to dip. I ordered the Angus Hawaiian Cheeseburger (without the cheese) with sweet potato fries. The burger was great, with thick bacon and a well-seasoned, well-cooked beef patty. A very flavorful burger overall. The sweet potatoes were average, but the portions were generous. You can grab additional condiments at the counter, including ranch. The service and staff were kind. Magic Key discounts also apply here. Unfortunately, they don't validate parking for Downtown Disney (Simba Parking Lot). Doesn't hurt to ask the cast members if the rule has changed. You can also walk from the Mickey and Friends parking structure to the hotel. We tried breakfast a couple of years ago. My last review reflected that experience, but we may have to give it another morning visit after the recent positive experience. I saw a few new breakfast items that sound interesting.

They serve different types of cuisine each evening for the dinner buffet. I stopped by the morning before I checked out and had breakfast. They have a nice spread with a variety of breakfast options to choose from. My waiter was good at making sure my coffee stayed filled and hot. Overall, the food and dining area here at Garden Court Bistro was great. This was a nice way to cap off my stay here at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel.

My parents and I first stayed at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel in October and have since stayed an additional two trips (spanning 2 nights per stay). When checking in they offer a 15% off voucher for this location, so we gave it a go. Our server Zeke was incredibly friendly the first visit in October, and then actually remembered us in January from our previous stay! This type of service with a decent selection on the buffet has us not just staying at the hotel, but choosing this as our breakfast destination. Don't forget! They do eggs to order and toast to order with the buffet. This alone made the buffet for my mom and myself. Plus, they offer coffee to go if you need a little more pep in your step for your Disney day on the go.

For breakfast wife opted for the Churro Waffles this time which was good. For dinner we got the fish tacos and I tried the wings with fries. Both very good and very freshly made. While waiting I enjoyed a beer at the bar. The beer/liquor selection is pretty good but I opted for a beer. They also have happy hour but haven't had a chance to enjoy it. Thank you again for the service provided by Karin. My family greatly appreciates the kindness. We truly feel like we're treated as guests when we come. The Bistro is always very clean when we come which is nice. There is also a nice patio outside by the pool which is cool.

Even though the Grove has a decent amount of food options, Johnny Rockets is super close and we honestly just wanted to give it a try after many years. From the moment we checked in at the front desk, nostalgia hit and the super friendly staff had us seated with drinks right away. We ended up splitting an order of french fries and I ordered what is basically a rodeo style double cheeseburger with onion rings on it. I didn't expect a bad burger by any means, but I did not expect to like the burger as much as I did. The taste of the meat, the onion rings, the sauce, I mean, literally every aspect of the burger was just really freaking good. Overall, Johnny Rockets is still a fun place to come and grab a burger. The restaurant itself still looks like an old school diner and the employees still have the old school hats on which is a nice little touch. The food here was really good and both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by both the taste and the quality. My only complaint here is that I was too stuffed for a milkshake, so I'll have to grab one next time!
