My go to breakfast place in Rancho! The waitresses are always amazing. I have been helped by four different ladies and they are so helpful, kind, and efficient! Special shout out to Jenn. Do not sleep on their lattes! I'm a huge coffee person and have tried all the cafes in Rancho and surrounding areas. This place has my top 4 lattes. Their seasonal pumpkin spice is my absolute favorite and they make their syrup there! My three favorite items are the Turkey Dinner (rivals my family's thanksgiving meal), Egg White Frittata, and the Cajun Chicken & Eggs. My favorite muffin is the buttermilk spice. We decided to come to Mimi's café because it was a place that I would take my children to when they were little and they absolutely loved it. We went in on a Wednesday about 6 o'clock. There was 5 of us we Decided to have dinner. Customer service was OK. Our waitress was very sweet. The place was empty. I think there was like two other customers there we went ahead and placed our drink orders received them pretty quickly went ahead and put in our food order. Everything arrived pretty quickly. It definitely wasn't the same as when my kids were younger. The food was not great quality and it did not taste that good. We ended up leaving majority of the food on our plates and we did not even take it to go home which we normally would if we were not able to finish everything it was very unsatisfactory. I don't know if the chef that night just didn't feel like cooking or if that's just the quality of what the food is now but I definitely would not go here again unfortunately I wish I would've gotten more pictures of the food, but unfortunately, I did not read more

GHOST TOWN. All food is made from industrial suppliers, comes out of plastic bags -- and is either run through the microwave or air fryer. We paid $75 for food that would have costed under $10 to microwave if we had just went to Aldi's. We've been to this Mimi's location multiple times for morning breakfast and the food has been great. They have refreshed their menu and the new additions are great. I visited Mimi's this morning with my son, and we had a wonderful time. When I asked where he wanted to go, he suggested Mimi's. We arrived around 10 am on a Monday holiday and were greeted and seated right away--no wait at all. My son ordered the steak and eggs, while I went for the pumpkin griddlecakes. I was a bit hesitant at first but was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were! They come with powdered sugar, whipped margarine, and maple syrup, plus two eggs cooked to your liking. I'm officially done with mimi's cafe. I am a baby boomer and I remember when mimi's started. They were pretty famous for their asian chicken salad. Today the salad I had to ask for the original recipe which was salantro.Andgreen onion so waitress had them added it. Dressing not the same and no flavor. Loaded w strips of bell pepper. For me no more. We also ordered French dip sandwich. I asked for horseradish twice. ( told her when I first ordered) they served it on hard ciabatta bread!!!!. Insult to the sandwich.
