    Lobster pot pie served
    Heather M.

Stellar experience! Service is amazing and the food is soooo good! We stared with great generous cocktails. The complimentary naan and hummus is so light. We started with the tuna tartare made table side in the classic beef tartare style with raw egg and toast. So fresh! We shared the lobster pot pie for the table. They only make a limited number per night but this is a Michael Mina speciality. A whole lobster with potatoes onions and carrots in a creamy sauce and topped with puff pastry. It is served table side and worth it! The tomato salad was amazing with the best dressing. The Mahi mahi prepared in the spicy light fried manner was so so good. The special shutome fish was prepared with a spiced phyllo crust on a bed of lobster mash potatoes. Think fish and hops elevated! It was amazing and such a huge portion.

Food and drinks were great. Vibes and environment were great. Service was great. But this place is super expensive. Definitely not an everyday type of restaurant. Special occasions or if yoi have a lot of money. Came here only once. Well see if I ever try again.

It was our Christmas Dinner and I enjoy coming here . It was a fast paced night for them and it was busy. We arrived early just to make sure , they called us and then had a little faux pax and then we had to wait some more . Not an issue we ended up with a great table down by the water . Quiet and cozy . It was a little cold , but tis the season. We got the Christmas menu and that's where you pick one item from each area...with up charges for non menu items. It's all good with me , next time I'll go with the regular menu . The Christmas Menu was good , but a little different selections ... I'm happy , but want to explore a little more . The service was good , and the beautiful view... I'm happy- they validate parking complete use the valet.. otherwise it's hard to park if you drive... we usually stay at Disney or the Marriott... not this year though. All booked up in October lol. Will I go back ? Yes . And I will explore the island more ... it was missing something , I can't put my finger on it... I've been traveling a lot lately. Vegas , Bangkok , Saigon , Tokyo. And have had some amazing meals - with 5 star service ...so it's a great place - I'm happy here ... and will be back

Amazing dinner spot. Perfect views of the ocean. They have a kids menu that's pretty good (we had grilled fish, broccolini and pasta and ice cream/brownie). For the adults- we tried a few fish dishes, broccolini, spam fried rice, peppers, and salad. Everything was so delicious.

How fun is this drink vessel?

We decided on dinner here on a whim-no reservations at prime dinner time. The bar however had seats available and we were fine sitting at the bar. Our barkeeper JT was out of this world! Busy, but incredibly attentive. I don't drink alcohol, but loved some of the vessels that cocktails come in, so he put my mocktail into the vessel I asked for. The bread and hummus was delicious, my husband had the blackened cod, and I had the ny strip. We also added garlic rice. Thanks to the chef for changing the Brussels sprouts to broccoli for me. The views were still amazing from the bar, and the open concept is truly Hawaiian. A lovely dinner with fantastic service.

    Lovely view, no?

Came here for a romantical dinner and Mina's didn't disappoint! We were seated at a lovely table with stellar views of the lagoon. We had a fantastic server - attentive without being overbearing. Courses were timed well and we never felt rushed. Each dish was distinctive and so balanced and delicious! We enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons and Mina's delivered!

I've been eager to try Mina's Fish House for some time now--it's definitely on my must-visit list! We stopped by for dinner, and note that reservations are highly recommended. We were quickly seated and greeted by our friendly and helpful server. They gave excellent suggestions for dinner and drinks, and after much thought, we enjoyed: - Smoked marlin and Maui onion dip - Mina's lobster pot pie - Chili miso glazed black cod Every dish was utterly delicious! It's hard to pick a favorite since all of them were full of flavor. I'm a fan of Mina's and we will definitely be back soon to try more items from their menu.

Expect resort prices but also too tier service and quality. The drinks are stiff and flavorful. I'm not a fish person but that fish was delicious! They have decent selection for kids. The setting is nice and relaxing.

Nice ambience. You have the ocean view. Service was good too. Food was excellent. Try the drink in a spam can lol.. if can, can. My favorite is of course are the fresh oysters and the octopus.

We had a memorable dinner at Mina's Fish House at the Four Seasons. The setting, service, and food were definitely impressive, and the overall experience felt special. That said, our total came to around $750 for four adults and two toddlers, including tip, and at that price point, we expected every dish to be a showstopper--which wasn't quite the case. WHAT WE ORDERED.... Lobster Pot Pie: Visually stunning when it first hits the table with a golden, puffy crust--but then it's quickly deconstructed, and from there it kind of loses the magic. It was good, but a bit of a letdown. The flavor didn't quite match the grand presentation. Whole Red Snapper - Ginger & Scallion Style: One of the standout dishes. The fish was buttery, tender, and impressively boneless, which made it easy to share. It came with a generous portion of sautéed green beans that were crisp, garlicky, and delicious. Spam Fried Rice: A comforting side dish that paired nicely with the fish. Not as mind-blowing as it was described, but still solid. Wild Mushrooms: Packed with flavor and one of our favorite sides... get this! Summer Heirloom Tomato Salad: Fresh and light--mostly arugula and whole tomatoes. Nice, but not particularly memorable. Smoked Marlin & Maui Onion Dip: Great flavor, creamy and smoky, but the house-made taro chips were way too thick. The fish dip was super good though and our toddlers loved it! Garlic & Duck Fat French Fries: Absolutely incredible. Fragrant, crispy, and addictive--the moment they hit the table, they stole the show. BEST FRIES EVER YOU NEED TO GET THIS! Mocktails - Parrot Punch & Sunset in Paradise: Both were delicious and came in fun, tropical glass. Desserts: Piña Colada Shave Ice: Super tasty and full of tropical flavor. Fun to eat and one of the most memorable parts of the meal. Ube Cheesecake: Light and airy--more like a Japanese-style cheesecake. Pretty good. Caramel Chocolate Crunch: Super rich, but super yummy--like a giant See's Candy bar. The problem with this dessert was that I couldn't eat more than one small bite because it was so rich. Pro Tip: Sit indoors if you're dining around sunset. The sun can be intense and directly in your eyes at the outdoor tables. There was live music that added to the upscale but relaxed atmosphere. The staff was warm and friendly, though our server Ryan seemed a bit stretched and didn't check in as often as I was hoping for.

We came here for a date night and were seriously blown away by the food and service. We went with the market fish experience, which includes several appetizers (marlin dip, octopus, tomato salad, shishito peppers), of which the stars were the shishito peppers and octopus (some of the best octopus we've had). For mains we had the snapper and the filet, both were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Our server Megan was outstanding - she really deserves a promotion, Her service was so genuinely kind and thorough. She really elevated the experience for us. The ambience was calming and warm, and even though it was raining, we felt it was cozy and comfortable inside. Overall Mina's is a 10/10 - highly recommend!

Bread & hummus complimentary appetizer - so good!

So glad we were able to try this spot on our recent trip! I made a reservation about two weeks prior. This restaurant is located at the Four Seasons hotel, and you do need to valet your car. However, parking is validated through the restaurant which is nice! From walking in, we were greeted by the kind hostess, and then sat at our charming little table overlooking the ocean. They have their two-top tables set up a certain way so everyone dining has a nice view and that was a small detail that was greatly appreciated. We came around 6pm, so it was beautiful timing to watch the sun set and the ambience change into night mode as they started turning on all the outdoor lights and tiki torches. Such a wonderful ambience which elevated the dining experience. For our meal, we had wonderful service - from our server to the bussers and all the staff, everyone was so attentive and on top of everything. This place knows how to provide a wonderful service experience. Now for the food & drinks - we tried quite a few things on the menu! We started with cocktails, I can't remember the names of the drinks what we ordered. The first drink was a lime/cucumber/chilli drink and the second was a gin/lemon/lilikoi/lychee drink. Both were pretty good. For appetizers, we started with the hamachi (my favorite dish of the entire night), the octopus (another wonderful dish), and the market sashimi (very good). I'd easily recommend all of the appetizers we tried, but HIGHLY recommend the hamachi! For our meal, we shared the Ahi Katsu Curry - this was good, but just heavy after we had already eaten quite a bit! We got a side of their wild mushrooms as well, and if you're a mushroom lover, highly recommend trying these out! If you're looking for a nicer dining spot with great ambience, wonderful service and delicious food, this is your spot! We had such a wonderful time here and I'd definitely come again on our next trip!

To put it into perspective, there was a flash flood warning during a storm this week and I still drove 40 minutes just to pick up takeout from them. That's how worth it this place is to me. The portions here are insanely generous, especially for the price point. You get so much food, and the quality never feels compromised. The fish is consistently fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, which is why I keep coming back year after year. Their service is also incredibly efficient. You can tell this team really knows how to run a tight operation. They stayed open and adapted throughout COVID, and that ability to pivot and keep things running smoothly still shows in how quickly and reliably they handle orders today. If you wanna sit inside, I urge you to come towards open or with the expectation to wait a bit. You sign up on the clipboard outside and wait patiently. The good news is that they turntables extremely quickly. Places like this are rare--great food, great value, and a team that clearly cares about what they're doing. I'll always make the drive for Sushi Bay, and I genuinely hope they stay open forever.

After paying, I asked for a side of eel sauce and was informed there was a 50-cent charge. Had I known beforehand, I would have simply added it to my order. The issue wasn't the cost--it was how the situation was handled. I explained that I had already paid and didn't have any cash or change on me. I then spoke with two different employees, and both seemed unwilling to help over what amounted to a 50-cent sauce. Eventually, I spoke with the manager, who repeatedly told me, "Next time, next time, make sure," and implied I wouldn't get the sauce otherwise. What disappointed me was the lack of flexibility and customer service. After spending nearly $60 on takeout and leaving a tip, I felt that the staff and management were more focused on collecting 50 cents than taking care of a customer. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I understand policies exist, but I also understand that sometimes good customer service means using common sense and showing a little goodwill. This wasn't about the money. It was about how a loyal customer was treated over something so minor. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling unappreciated, and it has made me reconsider returning.

Drinks: - Fourth Lagoon Cocktail: raspberry rosewater paired with elderflower liqueur was good, just wish it had a pretty flower with it! - non alcoholic lychee something drink was delicious Starters: - KABOCHA SQUASH SOUP - weird with shrimp body on top would not get again - VENISON TARTARE - yummy simple Appetizers: - AHI* - poke super good - HE'E - octopus with risotto was mushy and boring would not get again - PORK BELLY - should've got this after hearing neighbors saying how good and easily sliced it was like butter Entrees: - LOBSTER TAIL - OMG so good with gnocchi - "PANIOLO" WAGYU FILET* - steak is always a great option and delicious Dessert: - CITRUS BAR (Liliko'i Ganache | White Chocolate + Pistachio Crunch | Kalamansi Curd | Ginger Snap Tuile) had a little Mickey head design was SO GOOD - CHOCOLATE MOUSSE - really good too, no Mickey design sadly

We made reservations at Ama Ama Restaurant because we were staying at the Aulani Resort and Ama Ama…read morehad such good reviews. When we checked in, they were very hospitable and took a complimentary photo near the front kiosk. We waited momentarily and were seated in a both. There were overhead fans above us and we noticed there were gnats peppering our table. The gnats continued to engulf the table making it look like a Dalmatian and this triggered my daughter with high stress and anxiety. We hadn't ordered drinks or food yet. I went back to the hostess and said that we would like to be relocated to a table toward the outer side of the restaurant and away from the fans that were blowing gnats on the table. They apologized for the recent bug infestation and I got a text from my wife saying that the server was in the process of moving us to another table. I had a hard time believing that the staff noticed this issue and didn't rectify it without me having to say that it was problematic. Then after we moved, it was another 15 minutes before a server asked for our drink order. It was simple, three iced teas and an apple juice. My daughter got her juice but the iced tea didn't come for another 15 minutes. We were 50 minutes into being seated and we hadn't ordered food so I had to go back to the hostess and ask for the manager. The menu here is prix fixe at $140 for a four course meal and this is not including a kids meal for my daughter and drinks. I told the manger that I thought the service here was unacceptable and that we hadn't ordered our food or got our drinks almost an hour into service. He was apologetic and immediately met with the servers in the kitchen. We finally got our iced teas and the server said they were "special" and it was pineapple juice added to them, like a tropical Arnold Palmer. Here's a suggestion, please don't add stuff to our drinks. I know he was trying to be polite, but it was not very good. So our orders were taken almost an hour after being seated. At least there were no bugs where we were seated. My daughter was itchy and wouldn't stop scratching after the bug attack from our initial seating. I left and went to the Aulani amenities store inside the lobby of the hotel and returned with Benadryl. At this point my daughter just wanted to go back to the room and was exhausted. I too was a little disappointed at the overall night. I was celebrating my birthday and retirement, and this was not the special dinner I was expecting. When I got back to the hotel room, my wife texted that they were getting the meal "to go" and heading on their way back. Our server had mentioned that they were going to provide 2 of our meals gratis and I wanted to make sure my wife knew this. She said they didn't charge for the meal at all. I think the restaurant was worried about my daughter having a medical issue and asked if we needed help. I feel like the restaurant had observed our continual dismay and noted things they observed but took no active action to resolve along the way. For a high end restaurant, customer service is as important if not more important than the food. By the way, my wife brought back our food to the hotel room and it was less than stellar. The portions were scant, the scallops undercooked, and the catch of the day which was Hawaiian Ono caught locally was overcooked and dry. So service aside, the food was not particularly spectacular. I hope Yelpers pay attention to my review and really think twice about eating here. Just because it's inside the Aulani Resort, it doesn't mean that it's good. Dinner tonight was an epic failure. Even if they didn't charge us, it was an unpleasant experience not worth repeating. I have not included any photos in my review due to my utter dismay.

The best on island, better than Leonard's in my opinion. The dough was so soft and bread was sweet, no toughness at all. The food was good, my daughter had waffles, a drink, malasada and fruit that came with her meal. She was so happy and so was I. The characters are great with interaction. I noticed them interacting with everyone, not just the standard hi and bye but went above and beyond to make experiences at each table. They made us feel special. There was live music, she also interacted with the crowd and her singing just elevated the entire experience. This place is not only for food, but to experience the Disney magic and I definitely felt that here. A must if you're staying at Aulani.

I never have done the character breakfast so this review is purely for their dinner experience. I kinda wish though that they change up the menu more as I recall the menu not changing much each time we visit. The dinner menu is a set 3 course meal where you have to pick an appetizer, main entree, and dessert. The kids have a set 3 course meal to choose from as well. This time I ordered their ahi tuna special, which so happened to be the special over 2 years ago lol! I chose their corn chowder as my appetizer and honestly after the cheesy bread rolls and soup, I was pretty stuffed by the time my entree came. It was still a lot of food, and I only took like 3 bites before o threw in the towel. As for the dessert, I chose the dulce de leche cheesecake, which deviates from the usual Mickey brownie with ice cream that I ordered. I still prefer the brownie now that I've tried both. Ambiance is nice and I actually prefer the outdoor seating because I find the architecture and landscape of the resort so beautiful. Overall a solid Disney dining experience, with large portions all around. Definitely worth trying at least once especially if you're staying at the resort!
