    zero proof Parrot Punch
    Angel H.

My husband brought me here last night to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. When he made the reservation he asked for a table near the ocean and that's exactly what we got. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was stellar. Make sure that you make reservations as it was full house. People were standing around near the entrance waiting for tables. Michael Mina is famous for his Lobster Pot Pie. The last time I had it was at Stripsteak, one of his other restaurants. I knew I wanted to get it again, so I ordered the Lobster Pot Pie $128. My hubby ordered the Sesame Roasted Half Chicken $47 and Prime Beef Lettuce Cups $26. I tried their zero proof Parrot Punch (POG, coconut, fresh pineapple) $11. This drink was so good and it was served in a cute fish cup. They started us off with complimentary bread. It was naan bread with hummus. It was ok. The bread was cold and soft. The lettuce cups came out next. It was terrific. It had pieces of crispy rice to give it a crunch. The satay sauce just tied everything together. It wasn't spicy at all. The entrees came out after. My Lobster Pot Pie was assembled table side. I appreciated the presentation. The waiter was explaining the process to me. I liked when he said that they two onions were they eyes and the green beans were the antennas. This dish was fantastic, especially the truffle brandy cream sauce. My husband loved his sesame chicken. He gave me his wing portion and it was yummy. I loved the sweet glaze. Since, we were celebrating our anniversary, we got a complimentary dessert. It was a piece of their chocolate caramel crunch. It was like an elevated chocolate mousse cake, so good! I had a wonderful time. They validate for valet service.

The excellent concierge at the Four Seasons Club Lounge made our reservation and the food was good. I wouldn't say it was amazing. I ordered the Oprah Moonfish that came with rice a roni and collard greens. My wife ordered the sea bass with bok chocolate. Both were good. We also ordered the duck fat french fries. Those were great! Service was very good, but the ambiance was a little too chaotic. Tooooooo many kids screaming and running around. I think they all came from Aulani.

Was able to dine in on a Monday evening without an advanced reservation. Wait time was minimal. Ambiance was great. Right next to the pool in front of the Four Seasons Resort. Staff members were all nice throughout the evening. The food was OK... most dishes were salty unfortunately. Orderes the spam fried rice for baby, but spam was very salty and the rice was OK. Was bummed since each dish was pretty costly as anticipated. Thought it'll taste better, and not so salty. Portions were average. Pork belly- lots of lard. Spanish octopus was also salty... but the salsa/sauce made it better. Overall, good ambiance and service, but not worth it for me when it comes to the food/food selection.

I wish I could eat here everyday, if only I lived in Hawaii. Phenomenal staff. We were treated with respect and we arrived with a service dog. They were accommodating and kind about it. Our server was a wealth of knowledge, funny and provided amazing service. The food was well made! I couldn't stop eating because everything was so yummy. Cocktails were great. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I traveled to Hawaii for our honeymoon. This is where we ate the first night and boy did we start off with a bang. My wife and I are already fans of Michael Mina, having eaten at several of his other restaurants, one of my favorites being Bourbon Steak in Nashville. Everything here was a wonderful. Great service with delicious food and drink. Also the view of the beach was an amazing way to start our honeymoon. We ordered the small seafood tower to start. For our meals we both enjoyed a seafood entree. My Ahi was cooked to perfection. Obviously since this is a Michael Mina restaurant it wasn't inexpensive, but I believe the service and quality of food we got was 100% worth it. If we ever find ourselves in Ko Olina again, you can be sure we will be eating here again.

Service from hostesses to servers are all top notch. Ask for the special, vegetarian menu, it's filled with delicious entrees. This is always a great choice for special dinners or occasions.

1st time dining here. Stayed at the tele for PMAH Memorial Day Weekend conference. Hotel was excellent and Mina's Fish House was equally amazing. Ambiance - Check Service - Check Food - Check Drinks - Check Deserts - Check Well this restaurant checks all the boxes for me. We tried a variety on the menu: Smoked Marlin dipi w/chips Octopus Peppers Crusted Curry Ahi Night special - swordfish Cocktail drinks - served right. Not watered down and tasted excellent. I'd like to give a shoutout to Mary, our gracious server for the night. Excellent service. Actually beyond 5 stars. My wife read about the furikake Ice cream and wanted to order it but it was actually from another restaurant on the hotel. Nonetheless, Mary went out of way to serve it to us. It was very good BTW. To those who do not know furikake, just give this a try. You'll like it. We'll be back for the steak!!! Thank you for an excellent experience.

Celebrated 3 anniversaries at MFH (1 year, 4 years, and 40 years) and we enjoyed our experience. Since we were staying in Ko'Olina, we walked over to MFH who accommodated us in our choice of table for our party of 6 ahead of time and had a gorgeous view of palm trees and ocean at sunset. While I would have chosen the Mina Fish House Experience (prix fixe $125), the experience requires full table participation. Instead, our party opted for à la carte ordering served family-style. Here's what we had: Ono amuse buche House Flatbread Broiled Spanish Octopus Ono Tataki - a favorite served with a vinaigrette truffle sauce Prime Beef Lettuce Cups Charred Broccolini Garlic Duck Fat Fries Kona Kanpachi (whole fish) char-grilled Ahi Katsu Curry NY Strip 14oz (for our non-fish eating friend) Potato and Leek Soup with poached lobster (for our non-fish eating friend) Although the food was A+, we took exception to the NY Strip because it was dry, gristly, and not cooked to order. However, when we brought it up to our server, she without question had it immediately removed and ordered another one. After trying the second one, the meat tasted like it should and the vegetables were even better than the first one. For drinks: Liquid Sunshine Mai Tai Piña Colada Pickleback Paradise - mocktail For the best deal, the Mai Tai is your best bet because it's larger than most drinks, has a good amount of alcohol, and tasty. Liquid Sunshine also had a good amount of alcohol. Our Pickleback Paradise drinker liked his drink so much he ordered two. Surprisingly, the Piña Colada wasn't up to par as it was grainy and not fully mixed. We should have returned it, but didn't. For dessert: Malasadas with ice cream Ube Cheesecake Additionally, each couple received a complimentary piece of chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversaries During our meal, service was attentive and personable and the atmosphere was enhanced by the live music which made for a lovely celebratory dinner.

Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Great service. Food was just ok for us, which, given the price, brought the experience down. My son loved the steak with foie gras, but we also had the duck fat fries, the steak and lobster, the octopus, the pork belly and the fried rice. Everything but the foie gras was good but not great and it was pretty expensive so the expectations were higher.

It was our Christmas Dinner and I enjoy coming here . It was a fast paced night for them and it was busy. We arrived early just to make sure , they called us and then had a little faux pax and then we had to wait some more . Not an issue we ended up with a great table down by the water . Quiet and cozy . It was a little cold , but tis the season. We got the Christmas menu and that's where you pick one item from each area...with up charges for non menu items. It's all good with me , next time I'll go with the regular menu . The Christmas Menu was good , but a little different selections ... I'm happy , but want to explore a little more . The service was good , and the beautiful view... I'm happy- they validate parking complete use the valet.. otherwise it's hard to park if you drive... we usually stay at Disney or the Marriott... not this year though. All booked up in October lol. Will I go back ? Yes . And I will explore the island more ... it was missing something , I can't put my finger on it... I've been traveling a lot lately. Vegas , Bangkok , Saigon , Tokyo. And have had some amazing meals - with 5 star service ...so it's a great place - I'm happy here ... and will be back

How fun is this drink vessel?
    K R.

We decided on dinner here on a whim-no reservations at prime dinner time. The bar however had seats available and we were fine sitting at the bar. Our barkeeper JT was out of this world! Busy, but incredibly attentive. I don't drink alcohol, but loved some of the vessels that cocktails come in, so he put my mocktail into the vessel I asked for. The bread and hummus was delicious, my husband had the blackened cod, and I had the ny strip. We also added garlic rice. Thanks to the chef for changing the Brussels sprouts to broccoli for me. The views were still amazing from the bar, and the open concept is truly Hawaiian. A lovely dinner with fantastic service.

We came here for a date night and were seriously blown away by the food and service. We went with the market fish experience, which includes several appetizers (marlin dip, octopus, tomato salad, shishito peppers), of which the stars were the shishito peppers and octopus (some of the best octopus we've had). For mains we had the snapper and the filet, both were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Our server Megan was outstanding - she really deserves a promotion, Her service was so genuinely kind and thorough. She really elevated the experience for us. The ambience was calming and warm, and even though it was raining, we felt it was cozy and comfortable inside. Overall Mina's is a 10/10 - highly recommend!

Came here for a romantical dinner and Mina's didn't disappoint! We were seated at a lovely table with stellar views of the lagoon. We had a fantastic server - attentive without being overbearing. Courses were timed well and we never felt rushed. Each dish was distinctive and so balanced and delicious! We enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons and Mina's delivered!

Majority of the appetizers we got were good. - truffle fries..well...their truffle fries and cant really go wrong - taro dumplings (i forgot if thats what we got but they were good but not blown away either) - corn chowder was good - brisket pesto pizza? (Im overdue with the review so forgot what pizza it exactly was) but i remember this was good. It was in the happy hour menu is all i can remember. - wings but unsure about the goat cheese dip. I prefer plain ranch - the kids pasta was good. Well, one kiddo loved it while the other didn't. So it depends on preferences on this one. I will say i did taste it and it was meh... - another kiddo got the shoyu noodles and its plain. So if you got a simple palate plain jane child, they will like this one. For drinks, it depends on taste and preferences. I was bummed on this one. Mainly looking fwd to the drinks and it didn't satisfy my tastebuds. It was too twisted, fusion, modified etc. i prefer a mai tai a plain old fashioned mai tai without the fixings. The orange foam was too strong it overwhelmed the dark rum im used to and prefer. So i decided to try the ube rey instead which was much better but still not as much to my liking/preferences. Went back to Aulani a but bummed and decided to get another at Aulani the next day instead and I will say, i liked it better as it followed the more traditional way of making it. So if you prefer traditional ways, this may not be for you and if planning to drink, simply keep with the simplier generic drinks, wine or beer. If you prefer to try different ways and flavors, then you will love this. Service was great and our server was attentive at all times. Thank you. Ambiance was good but outdoor seating may be a bit of a nuance due to flies swarming around you often. The swinging table fan helps but are still annoying plus the tropical heat also didn't help.

For some guests, hotels gave them vouchers to redeem at the restaurants near by, and this was one of those restaurants that you could redeem it at. With the voucher, this restaurant is a little bit easier to justify, but without, you are left paying high prices for fine food and a great view. If you are on the resort, then this is also easier to justify, as it is one of the closer options compared to the others. If you're not staying at the Marriott connected to it, then I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to go here. We ordered the crab cakes and the shrimp risotto. The crab cakes were really good, with a few different textures like the crunchies on top! If you like crab or crab cakes, or if you want to try something new, I would suggest that you order this or split it with a friend or partner. The shrimp risotto was fine, but after trying it, I ended up wishing that I ordered something else on the menu. It wasn't that it was bad, it just was okay. I feel like people have certain expectations for a higher end restaurant like this, and it wasn't hard to see why after going, that this restaurant is rated the way it is.

We came at 7am which was so nice because it wasn't crowded. We got some extra time with Mickey Mouse in the beginning and since it wasn't crowded, the characters visited our table 2-3 times. The food was great too! We loved the donuts, omelets, lox and bagels, and gluten free minnie mouse waffles! They were SO kind in having gluten free options (gluten free waffles, fruit, gluten free muffins). The gluten free food was delicious. We all loved our food and we really had a great time! Beautiful view and environment too! Dinner- This was absolutely the best dinner we had during our trip. It's a 3 course meal and you get to choose off of the menu. I got the corn chowder, prime rib, and pineapple dessert. My date got the tomato soup, seared ahi, and pineapple dessert. All of the food was amazingggg! We also LOVED our drinks we ordered. We ordered an old fashioned and then our sweet server had the bar whip me up a custom drink! Both were so good! For both meals, the service was amaaaazing! They are so kind and go over and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. They constituently checked in with us, gave us great recommendations, and got us everything we needed. I wish I remembered the name of our waiter at dinner, he was absolutely amazing! *Dinner does not include characters* I would give our experience for both breakfast and dinner a 100/10!

I got the Snow Crab Legs Combo with the Signature Kickin Sauce and medium heat. I ordered takeout, and everything was still hot and ready to eat when I got home. The combo came with a good amount of snow crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and clams. It's advertised as feeding 1-2 people, and I'd say that's pretty accurate. There was definitely enough to share between two hungry people, although I do wish they gave more potatoes. There were only two small potatoes, which felt a little skimpy compared to the rest of the seafood. The flavor was really good, especially for my first seafood boil. The medium spice level was just the right amount of heat for me. I think I can handle spice better than some so it was perfect for me.
