    Beef Mongolian

Here is my two cents on the quality quantity of Ming Palace. It was delivered by Grubhub in a timely manner, and it arrived very hot . I ordered two separate but equally delicious beef chow Fong . One was a grand Chow Fung in which there was chicken, shrimp, and pork . Plenty of chicken and pork and we counted seven good size shrimp . The second order was beef chow fung. And we found it to have plenty of slices beef.. Though the containers have shrunken in size, it was still quite full filing to sometimes have an extra meal the next day .. I was quite happy and highly recommended this place again .

Started my online order in the parking lot in front of the store after taking care of business at a local establishment. I decided to go inside and placed my order face to face.. I got home, didn't eat immediately I was handing after work stuff . Now ready to eat I opened my VEGETABLE FRIED RIICE AND NOW THERE IS SHRIMP IN THE MIX. I went inside to hopefully to make my initial order and now this miss this mix up. Total fail!! And now they are closed

This is sooooooooooooooooooooo Gooooooooooooooood, the only reason I don't give it 5 is because they don't give you a lot of beef, I wish they would give you more beef then the veggies, BUT this is so good, it's all I get when I come here

Not Bad. Sometimes it's so good and sometimes it is just ok. I don't know if they have different chefs, but you definitely taste the difference.

I'm very picky on my Chinese food and the restaurants I frequent. Felt like trying a new place and I'm so glad I chose Ming Palace. I ordered the Wor WonTon Soup & family meal for 2 with chicken chow mein & sweet n sour chicken. Wor wonton soup is spot on. Full of flavor, chicken, shrimp & wontons very soft, baby bokchoy scrumptious, chicken chowmein & sweet n sour chicken very tender & bursting with flavor. We will definitely be regular customers.

Fried shrimp n chow fun .... "large tray" lol

Generally OK as west coast Chinese goes, but lately they've gotten EXTREMELY stingy with their sauces when you get take out.

There was also an adequate amount of vegetables in the soup. The broth was clear and flavorful. The honey garlic spareribs were sweet and scrumptious. There were even fried whole cloves of garlic which complimented the spareribs well. The batter on the spareribs was not too thick and was crispy even though it was coated with sauce. Service was adequate as the workers refilled water and offered a plastic cup for my child. I noticed there was an emergency exit, however there were chairs blocking the door and the door was locked shut with a metal bar going across. The illuminated exit sign above the door was misleading as this door would not be suitable as an emergency exit. If there were an emergency it would be hazardous for everyone in the restaurant to leave through the front door in a chaotic scramble that would result in additional injuries/death.

While I was…read morewaiting, 3 other people ordered the fish as well, and it gets good reviews here on Yelp, so I made the trip to Mack Rd at night once again. The good - my order was prepared quickly, and the amount of fish was very generous. The fish was tasty and spicy. The house chow mein that I also ordered had decent (read below) flavor. The bad - the salt and pepper fish had a great batter, but I feel they're battered too much, and the actual fish piece inside is tiny. My house chow mein didn't have a single shrimp in it. Lots of beef, which was good, but the char smell from the beef was the only thing you could taste on the noodles. It's almost like the chef cooked the noodles on whatever the beef was cooked on. The noodles we had ordered from here a month ago had very good flavor, but not a one note beef flavor. There was a lot of beef and chicken in the house chow mein, but zero shrimp means the cook either forgot or they didn't have them and thought it would be ok to add more beef. Either way, I paid extra for my selection, and didn't get it. Am I Pissy? Yes. Am I honest? Also a Yes. 3 stars this trip, probably my last.

We went by on a Sunday around 12:30 and were able to join the yelp wait list as we parked and get a table for 3 easily. Fair warning if you are a larger group and come at peak times, join the waitlist early or be ready to wait a bit! The interior is bright, lively with a ton of bright light and decorations. There is a good amt of seating but let me tell you, it fills up FAST. The menu is EXPANSIVE with tons of options for omnivores and vegetarians alike. I will admit the impossible siu mai grabbed my attention pretty fast because I had never seen a vegetarian siu mai before sooo we had to order it. My friends shared the pork xlbs and we got the garlic green beans and the garlic noodles to share as well! Honestly, it was like being in a flow state between the garlic noodz and the green beans alone; highkey could eat multiple plates of just those two back to back to back l o l The siu mai was also delish but the other two dishes were somehow better. The soy/vinegar and chili oil they give for dipping is so good and hits that perfect note between salty/tangy/spicy. Prices are fair for the quality and I would love to go back and try more of their vegetarian options! I appreciate that this a spot that both vegetarians and their omnivore friends can go~ Have to go back to try their desserts including the egg tarts that sold out!

Its been so bad the past decade that we decided to give it another chance. Different management, different chefs, different everything basically. The fried flounder was so fried that I could not separate the bones, not only that, you could barely get any meat out of it. Our table had nine people and they only provided 6 buns with our peking duck. I thought they didn't have enough steamer space and was going to bring more but nope. The shrimp in their salted egg pumpkin and shrimp dishes was overcooked and their deep fried pig intestines were extremely stinky. Their portion sizes downsized like crazy and it's so bad that we didn't even finish any of the dishes. The best dish was a stir fry cauliflower dish that I could make at home. It was supposed to come with pork, but I only saw itty bitty pieces of meat. The service was also super bad and slow. I was eating their fried rice and bit on a piece of broken yellow plastic with multiple sharp points. Prior to that, I was feeding my toddler the rice so THANKFULLY it didn't go to him. When we told the server, which was an older lady with glasses and bangs, she's like oh... then she took it to the kitchen and pretended that nothing had ever happened when she came back out. Shes been there for years, and I remember seeing her when we were regulars. I wasn't expecting anything, except for some accountability. I used to love this place so it's pretty sad to see how much it went downhill.... This business needs to be scrapped. The current 3 stars is giving them too much credit and it must have been due to when they used to be good, in the past.
