I enjoyed the food at this Minghin location. All of the shrimp dishes we ordered tasted fresh and quality was good. They have an expansive menu with plenty of dim sum items as well as the typical Chinese dishes incorporating flavors from various Chinese regions. The restaurant is huge, more simply decorated compared to the ones in the city but the food is similar. I came on a Saturday night but it didn't feel crowded at all with plenty of tables available. They were well staffed and we were being frequently checked on.

Another great meal at MingHin. We ordered pork congee, potstickers, shrimp rolls, egg rolls, gai lan, beef chow fun & whole chicken with ginger & scallions. Everything was freshly made & flavorful! Beef was amazingly tender, rolls & potstickers had good filling. We look forward to returning each year when we are visiting relatives here.

Great experience overall! The food was flavorful and nicely presented, and the service was attentive. The ambiance is modern and spacious, which makes it a nice spot to dine. Fast service , has lot of parking, warm tea on the table is bonus

My family and I have been coming to Ming Hin for about 6 years. The food is so authentic and delicious. We have ordered dim sum, weekday lunch specials and regular entrees. There's spacious parking, the decor is Chinese and elegant, and the service is quick. The staff are very nice. The restaurant has many tables and can seat a big group. Note that the weekends can be very busy. They have other locations like downtown, Chinatown and Rolling Meadows. I can't wait to go back again!

Beef stir fried chow mein is one of my favorite dishes and this place nailed it. Its doesn't get more simple than this. I appreciate when places don't over fill the dish with veggies and is more noodle heavy. This dish was so good, I ate here twice in one week while I was in town for work. Both times did not disappoint and the dish was consistent. I found the price pretty reasonable. $17 for this dish where the portions could definitely feed 2 people or have enough for dinner and left overs the next day for 1 person. Either way, worth it. Ordered take out and they were on top of things giving me sauces without needing to ask and the placed it in separate containers so it wouldn't spill. Very thoughtful! Happy to have found this place, and excited to come back. This space is pretty big, great for big groups or Sunday lunch with the fam.

I have had this place on my list to try for a while. Slightly disappointed, as I really wanted to love it. Best item was by far the Deep Fried Shrimp Rolls, followed by the Siu Mai, and Fried Rice. The Deep Fried Pork Dumplings were good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The Beef Balls and Pan Fried Vegetable Rolls are not something I would ever order again. Order came with various sauces as well as fortune cookies. A bit pricey in my opinion but interesting to try

Enjoying dim sum out in the suburbs! After leaving airport we were too tired to drive back into Chicago Chinatown area. What a great option that open late in Naperville. Quick and friendly service. Order by menu and items are brought out to you. Highly recommend! Plus there is an Hmart and Kura closeby. Restaurant is open and clean.

Minghin Cuisine Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Minghin Cuisine

Does MingHin in Naperville still offer 20% off dim sum after 2:30 pm?

Yes. As of July 2023, the 20% discount applied from 2:30-5p on weekdays, exclusive of holidays, dine in only.

    Do they have a bar?

Unless this is a recent change, as of my last visit in November 2021, they had a full bar service in the Naperville location.

Is Minghin Naperville providing Curbside Pickup at all? Trying to find options for my senior parents to be able to safely pick up food from Minghin with zero contact.

I don't think they do curbside but they require masks when you go in and you can pay for everything on line, and pick up the food on a table. Very minimal contact if any. I've actually had dinner inside and they do a good job of keeping diners…

Are there any vegan options here?

They do have quite a few vegetarian dishes. However, I do know if they would all constitute as vegan dishes. Their menus are online if you want to take a look prior to visiting.

Is the ma po tofu vegan 🌱?

Traditional recipe calls for ground pork. MingHin is not known for vegan dishes-the are known for traditional dishes.

For starters, hot tea and sticky rice. My favorites were the shrimp dumplings and crispy shrimp rolls, but I also love a good greens in oyster sauce dish. Ordering is easy from a tablet or off the menu but unfortunately a couple things we wanted to order from the menu were no longer available. The steam baskets were removed from our table pretty quickly after they were emptied. Plenty of parking here and the restaurant wasn't too crowded yet, early on a Monday. I appreciated the sturdy chopsticks for use as well as a fork as needed, but a knife would be helpful too, for the crispy greens. I would like to return for dinner sometime and try more dim sum choices. This is a great place to go for a meeting, date night, or with a group.

Be prepared to wait a little bit for a table, or share a big one with another party at peak times. Some favorites: beef cheong fun with egg, siu mai, Singapore noodle, xo rice noodle rolls, spare ribs, pork and century egg congee. All the food has been very solid. Inside is always bustling and can be a bit crowded. Service is pretty friendly as far as Chinatown goes, and very efficient. There's a guy who works there who I think is the manager or something, because he puts in 200x effort and is always hustling. When he's not around it feels like something is missing. Prices are very reasonable and we like ordering a lot here so that we have tasty leftovers for later. This place has quite a few big tables and is good for large groups. My only nits are that very occasionally a dish or teacup will have a dirty spot, and that the bubble tea here is kind of meh. I don't remember exactly which one I ordered, but it was a little watery and lacking in flavor. It's also probably tough since they're boxed in by boba places now. Pro tip: When you first get your table, they'll ask you what kind of tea you want. If you ignore them or don't know how to answer, the default is green tea. Another one is to come at off-peak times. Not only will you get a table faster, but I think they tweak their portion sizes depending on how crowded it is. Definitely will be back! And I recommend you visit too

Thankfully, Phat Phat stepped in to fill that gap. We drove 30 miles for a late lunch around 2:30 p.m. to hopefully beat the crowds. There's a huge parking lot in the back, the building itself is incredibly unique, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. It feels modern while still being warm and inviting. We wanted to try a variety of dishes, so we ordered two baskets of the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, the Enoki Mushroom appetizer, Chicken Fried Rice, Phat Phat Chicken, Nasi Campur, and finished the meal with the Mango Sago. Everything was incredible. The soup dumplings definitely filled the void that Din Tai Fung left behind. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. The Mango Sago was the perfect palate cleanser and a refreshing way to end the meal on a hot summer day. The standout for me was the Enoki Mushroom appetizer. That will be a must-order every time we come back. We also have Indonesian family and have visited Bali, so we were excited to try the Nasi Campur. It was spot on. The satay is another must-order in my opinion. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming and pleasant. We got our fill of freshly cooked Taiwanese food before stocking up on your Asian groceries, walking off a full belly at Park to Shop (Aurora). This option was not available for a "meal" that comes with a drink in the price. All bentos came with a soy braised egg (the yolk was jammy and perfect) and some pickled yellow daikon. The food was freshly prepared to order. When you walk in, there's actually several options to order. You can 1) order at the kiosk by the cashier 2) place your order with the friendly woman behind the desk or 3) sit down at a table and order using the QR code at each table. The space was modern and clean, with a few tables near the front entrance that would fit a party of 4, but mostly tables and chairs along the side wall that would fit 2. Seating is similar to what you'd see at a standard cafe (like one that serves espresso/coffee drinks) so it might not be the best place if you have a large party and want to sit together. There was a friendly men and woman who were cooking in the kitchen and taking/servers orders, respectively. It was definitely a mom and pop vibe, which I love and am happy to support their business. Taiwanese noodle soup is on their menu but it's "coming soon." Once their noodle soup is being served, we will definitely be back to try it. It would be perfect during the colder months. Five stars!
