The shaved ice was incredibly light and fluffy, and the combination of fresh blueberries, yogurt, and granola made it refreshing without being overly sweet. The Hojicha Bingsoo was a nice contrast. The roasted tea flavor paired really well with the sweet red bean and crispy puffed rice, making it a great choice if you enjoy deeper, earthy flavors. That said, if I had to pick just one, I'd still go with the Matcha Bingsoo - it remains my favorite here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the café was clean and inviting. If you're craving bingsoo, Noon Korean Bingsoo is the place to go. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.

Honestly not sure what the filling should've tasted like but it was odd. In the end of the meal, service was semi-non-existent. The server was swamped and nothing on him but it felt understaffed for the amount of tables there. In the end, Tomat is ok. I can see myself coming for a happy hour but I dunno if I wanna try again with dinner service.

We thought she called our order first which was a misunderstanding on our part the barista then yelled at her co worker saying "it's not his" "i said it's not his" then when my boyfriend backs up she yells "it's not yours!" It was a simple mistake but did not mean she could yell at her co worker and a paying customer. Like I said we understand first hand being understaffed since my boyfriend and I work in the hospitality/food business. But the barista was just wiping the counter while she had 4 drinks without lids then it took her even longer to take our order plus 2 other customers orders came out when we all ordered similar items (just beverages.)

I'll admit, I was a little skeptical about ordering Mediterranean food from a neighborhood coffee shop, but that skepticism disappeared after the very first bite. I ordered the white meat chicken kabob plate with hummus, garlic sauce, rice, and pita, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly marinated, tender, and full of the authentic Mediterranean flavors I know and love. It was clear this wasn't an afterthought on the menu--it was prepared with care and quality ingredients. Tried this place earlier today and it's absolutely adorable. It's run by a warm and friendly husband and wife team that make you feel like you're having tea at their house. They offered great service, very accommodating and came around just enough to let you know they had not forgotten about you. I met a friend there and we enjoyed iced tea. I had the Ginger Ginseng sweetened with agave. Delish!!! The front of the place is right off Crenshaw Blvd. It's a very light and open space. It's relaxing and you don't feel cramped. There is also a smaller backside to the place. Great art on the walls and they played jazz which added to the charm. This will definitely be my go-to "coffee/tea" first date spot. It's PERFECT for that. Oh and they offered a variety of yummy sounding desserts: red velvet cake, peach cobbler, lemon cake, etc. I didn't try any dessert but several other patrons did and it looked amazing. Maaaan. I was moving into the area and was just keeping an eye out for a nice little coffee shop to make my own and walked in here. I knew when I heard the owners voice that this was the place to be. She welcomed me in and when she found out I was new to the neighborhood gave me a tour of the shop and gave me peach cobbler on the house. It felt like back in the old days when people really cared about each other. Like true community. The interior is great and really nice to get work done. I am definitely looking forward to making this my go to spot read more

Wow - when it comes to warm welcomes this place is amazing. It gives me hope in humanity - I'm not even kidding. We're not local and needed a meeting spot before a concert at the Forum. Lara & Anthony were so gracious and genuine. I mean the fact that I even learned the owner's names should tell ya. The tea and snacks coulda been terrible and the service gets em 5 stars, but Anthony's tea and Lara's sweet potato pie is legit and delicious. Reminded me how far simple kindness can get you. They recently followed all the cream top hype, serving their own version of Salted Caramel Sweet Cream Cold Brew. It suited my preference really well with the Cold Brew had balanced acidity and I loved how the cream top not being overly heavy as well as giving light sweetness to the overall drink.

Restrooms: No restrooms inside the shop, but there is a restroom in one of the rooms inside Oatmeal Radio Cafe. Credit Cards: Credit cards are accepted. Coffee Program: They use Solis Roasters coffee beans. Location/Parking: Located inside Oatmeal Radio Cafe on the NE corner of Jefferson Blvd. and S. Harcourt Ave.. Place can be hard to find, because there's no signage. Sound a bit sketch already huh? Everything is all good in the neighborhood. I would recommend parking along Jefferson or Harcourt Ave. The private lot is quite small. Ambiance/Decor: Small coffee shop with minimal furnishings. If you can't find a table a chair inside the shop, you can find a chair or table outside of the shop. Service: Service was good. Barista was friendly and informational about the shop. Coffee didn't take long to get to my hands. Drink Of Choice: They didn't have drip coffee when I patronize the shop. The barista said that he could make an Americano instead. The americano was quite solid and wasn't bitter. De La Crema Coffee Shop For Thought: I wouldn't mind coming back to the shop to try out their drip coffee.

It was creative, unique, and unlike anything I've had at a typical coffee shop. Unfortunately, the quality of the drink was overshadowed by the way I was treated, and because of that, I won't be returning. From the moment I walked in, I felt invisible. I entered the café and was not greeted by either employee. While I initially brushed it off, I couldn't help but notice that a white customer who entered shortly after me was immediately welcomed by both staff members. As I waited for my drink, I observed a man who appeared to be the owner or manager interacting with customers. He offered a white customer a sample to try, engaged him in conversation, and also spoke with another white customer who had entered separately. Throughout my entire visit, despite standing only a few feet away, he never acknowledged my presence; not with a greeting, a question, or even simple eye contact. The moment that solidified my discomfort came after I received my drink. Wanting to compliment it, I spoke loudly enough for both the employee who made it and the man assisting customers to hear. I said, "Wow, this drink is unbelievable, unlike anything I've had." Both of them looked directly at me and said nothing. There was no "thank you," no smile, no acknowledgment whatsoever. They simply looked at me and returned to what they were doing. I've replayed that interaction in my mind all day because it was blatant racism from the owner/manager who is an Asian man. As a black person, I left feeling unwelcome and excluded after watching other customers receive warmth and engagement that I did not. For that reason, I cannot recommend this business based on my experience.

I could understand one bad experience, but 4 times is enough for me to say I gave them a fair shot, and it's just not good. With so many options locally, this place should be avoided. The kitchen staff is the problem. Breakfast isn't hard to get right, so either train them or turn over the staff and get people who at least care about the customer and have some passion and respect for what they make and send out the door. This was made by someone who doesn't give a sh!t about what goes out the kitchen door.
