I've been to almost all of Urth Caffé's locations, including Melrose, Santa Monica, Pasadena, and Laguna Beach, and I have always found their food and drinks delicious. The service is also consistently good at every location I've visited. The only downside is that it's always difficult to find street parking around this location, so that evening we ended up paying $10 for parking.

That said, the owners were some of the kindest people I've met, and that genuinely made the experience so much better. Good customer service and warm, welcoming people really do make a difference.
