I have been going to MiniLuxe in Boston (on Newbury st.) for about two years now and have to say I am so glad there is finally now one near home! I came into the MiniLuxe in the new Market street shops new plaza (awesome restaurants btw) and instantly I fell in love. It was super cozy and all the staff members we extremely nice. The girl at the front desk checked me in for my gel manicure and brow wax, then offered water and a magazine as I waited about 5 minutes for my technician since I arrived a bit early. They have color wheels for their gel colors so its easier to choose and much easier to match a polish color to your toes if you have OCD like me :) My technician walked over and introduced herself to me and offered some more water as we walked over to the manicure table. She did a superior job trimming my cuticles as I like them really trimmed and not a fake trim like some salons do, followed by the gel application. I got a dark red (almost black) and to be honest, she couldn't have done a better job. I am so picky with my nails, and they were all super round at the top, clean, and most importantly she covered my WHOLE nail. Pet peeve of mine, when the sides are not fully covered. The hand massage was great but the best part of it was the heavenly smell of their lemon cream, I am so obsessed! Next was the wax, the Esthetician did an amazing job on my brows! She first waxed them, and tweezed some of the fuzzies I guess, and even filled them in. I ended up buying their brow powder because it looked so good. Cut to the chase, my favorite part about going to miniluxe is I know they are super sanitary and I will never get an infection like I have at other salons. I always feel so taken cared of regardless of location ( I will miss my Boston tech). Despite some of the reviews about their new "concierge center" ( which I have never used before) I always book my appointment online and get an email notification. Everyone is always so nice, and lets just say I will never go to another salon. read more

I was excited for the new Market Street to open up because I live close by and was eager to try everything in it. I had never heard of Miniluxe before but I have to say I got the best pedicure of my life there. I loved that they were dedicated to hygiene, it really eased my mind and to be honest I now feel uneasy going anywhere else. The place was beautiful, organized and clearly clean. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and my technician was great company and conversation. The pedicure was relaxing and it felt nice to not feel rushed. I noticed all the technicians, including mine, were very dedicated to their clients. Offering them tea and asking them how everything felt along the way. I ended up getting my brows waxed when I found out they had licensed and experienced estheticians. Not only did my esthetician make it the most painless wax I've ever had but she gave my brows an amazing shape and even filled them in. I loved them so much I bought the powder she used. I love getting my brows done here! Allie and Callie are the sweetest girls and do a great job at shaping and cleaning up brows. I love them both - they make it painless, quick, and enjoyable. I have also had a mani/pedi here as well. The technicians are extremely friendly and do a great job. My pedicures last, flawlessly, for a long time! I wanted to give my nails a break from gel and decided to try the upgraded polish ($10). Unfortunately, I do not think it was worth the upgrade as it quickly chipped. So, if you are typically a gel person, you might also find it disappointing. Regardless, the technician was great and the treatment was awesome, so I would definitely get gel here next time (even though it is $$$$$) if I ever stray from my usual mani/pedi spot! There have been 2-3 times where my appointment was cancelled or changed at the last minute, but it has never been a real inconvenience considering I cancel and change things at the last minute all the time - so I really can't complain. read more

The first time I went to Miniluxe was a terrible experience. The girl at the front desk kept rolling her eyes at me as soon as I open the door even before I said hi to her. The technician also rushed me through which made my nails uneven. I never went back there until my friend told me that there was a new girl there on Saturdays so I gave it another shot since her nails looked fabulous. I was a little disappointed to see that the same front desk girl was still there and she still seems to be giving costumers dirty looks like they all stole her puppy. But soon after I meet with Kathy and she had the friendliest smile and actually greeted me as I sat down. She took her time and I had the best chat with her like we were high school bffs. Not only did she make me feel very comfortable, she is very good at what she does. I finally don't have to be jealous of my friends nails anymore! I'm glad I gave it another shot and I will definitely be a regular with Kathy. read more

Where do I start??? This was my first time adventuring to a MiniLuxe, I chose the Market Street Lynnfield location for the convenient parking. The minute I walked in I was SHOCKED- A: I was welcomed by staff members with open arms. B: YOU COULD EAT OFF THE FLOOR It was so clean. C: The manager heard that it was my first time, and took the time to explain all of their products. Her knowledge was really impressive. I was then called upon by my technician Ponita (AMAZING ) she literally was amazing, offering me water and tea, explaining the service throughout my experience. I chose the Dazzle Dry line(which is chemical free / vegan) , which goes on like a wet polish but dried like a gel without the UVLight. I am generally not a person who posts reviews. A poor service just means the business does not get a repeat visit. However, I have been visiting MiniLuxe in Lynnfield for several years now almost every 2-3 weeks, so I decided I needed to give a 'shout out' to my nail technician, Kim. Kim has been doing gel manicures for me and does an outstanding service every time I see her. She is meticulous doing a perfect job with my cuticles and applying polish. Kim always double checks her work and never lets me leave unless everything has been done to her high standards, and I have been the benefactor! In addition, I often see Makayla at the front desk. She has always been cheerful, welcoming and professional. I can honestly say I have always received 5 star treatment. Thanks ladies. read more

The Lynnfield team does a wonderful job in offering service! Although sometimes they run a little bit behind(when a client is late that changes the whole schedule around for other clients, becoming an unavoidable problem) they do an excellent job. Everything is extremely clean in the premise and they use new utensils everytime (don't use same clipper on every client like other cheap salons do). Although the prices are a bit high, it is worth it in the end because you know that you are receiving services with care, cleanliness, and comfort. My gel manicures have last up to 3 1/2 - 4 weeks with no chip or peel. CND is my favorite brand for gel. Highly recommend any tech and esthetician!! read more

Love love love this salon! I've been to MiniLuxe 3 times since they've opened and have had both waxing and nail services. Each time I've gotten a manicure here, I've had a different nail technician and each one has been fantastic! I love the high end nail products/lotions/scrubs they use and everyone there seems so much more skilled than any other nail salon I've been to. I also enjoy their "brow bar" where the estheticians waxed and tweezed my brows to perfection. The brow bar is right in the middle of the salon so it makes for a fun atmosphere. I had waxing services from both Teddi and Ali -- both AWESOME. I usually frequent the Boston location but I had to go to this MiniLuxe near home since it just opened up and I could bring my mom. We both had a great time. The place is clean and comforting, and much more spacious. We had the warm oil treatment pedicure and my mom LOVED it. It's perfect for the wintertime and I am so glad to have a place to bring my mom. Hopefully it won't be too packed for Christmas time. My girlfriend has been telling me to come and get my nails done here. This place is amazing. We went to get a Manicure and Pedicure one night around 6pm. It was absolutely relaxing although it seems like it's a zoo during the day, I preferred going after those hours. Tools are cleaned and sterilized and only the best quality products available to our needs unlike corner salons. I also like the files and buffs are one time use and no cross contaminations. Who knew getting your nails done and clean up has to do with a lot of your health and hygiene on the long run. I will definitely be back! read more

I have been going to MiniLuxe exclusively for years! They have high quality products, everything is sanitized thoroughly, they have an expansive selection of polishes, and the energy there is great! Khanh is my favorite! She's been doing my nails for about a year now - she is super friendly, extremely precise, and is a perfectionist (which is exactly the trait you want in a nail technician!). When I walked in for my pedicure, I was surprised that this place was so clean and bright. Minilux just opened at the new market street shopping center and I thought to check this place out. My visit is so different from other places. The staff was very friendly and they seemed to love what they do. Perfect massage and my toes are awesome! I heard a lot about their brow bar. Awesome customer service. I went in for my first bikini wax and my esthetician-Helen was very friendly and comforting. I was very nervous and scared with how painful it was going to be. But, she made the experience as comforting as possible. She was fast with her service and did an amazing job. She kept a conversation going, to keep my mind off of the pain (which wasn't as bad). Melissa @ Miniluxe was fabulous. She spent so much time on my wedding mani/pedi & dealt with my bride requests (like placing sparkles on every single nail... Different colored sparkles on each nail). She had such patience, my nails stayed for a long time, the salon was clean & professional & I would absolutely choose them & her again to do my nails and toes in the future! I went to MiniLuxe for the first time right before my sisters wedding. We called ahead for appointments and they were so accommodating, making sure we all got to sit next to each other, which at most places doesn't ever happen! The place is really clean and all of the nail technicians were so nice, especially Melissa! They were on time, very professional, and our gel manicures lasted a long time. I've been going to Miniluxe now for several years, and I now won't go anywhere else. The cleanliness is unquestionable. At other salons, I had to worry about whether the technicians--including in one case the owner--know how to apply the product, whether gel or performance polish. Not a problem here! I came here with a friend. We haven't met in a while and both of us wanted to get our nails done. The staff was very friendly and understanding because I also had my baby come along as well. He was wanting to be carried and my nail tech was being very patient with me. Thank goodness it wasn't as busy at the time. I love my nails and this location is very clean and very accommodating.
