Stopped in for lunch after driving past a few times and thought it was so cute, It's on the side of a road next to a creek and was always busy. It has a bar against the back wall, a pool table and tables throughout with a jukebox, dartboard and one of those bar game machines. The bartender was amazing and served all the bar patrons as well as the floor. We all loved what we ordered and the nice cold beers. they definitely taste better in Pennsylvania. read more

Smaller place to eat but in a good way. You sit where you want. The environment was a mixture of bar, family eating, pool table for fun. Music was a good mix. Found this spot on Yelp and based on the reviews, decided to come by. Came with a friend. She had crab cakes and the SOB Burger for myself. Fantastic!! We arrived just as the kitchen was closing, but Julie, the bartender/server, made accommodations for us. Very nice little place with very nice ambiance. Met a few cool people, as well. I'm over due for my review. I stopped in mid-September after hiking about 7 miles that day. It was pouring rain, I was tired from the climb to the ridge-line and wanted a fair priced beer. Was in town for a long weekend of hiking and ran across this place for dinner. Beer was cold, food was delicious (portions were huge), and the bartenders were great. A great find for anyone heading to northeast Pennsylvania. Right off exit 310. We stumbled across it for lunch and was such a warm and friendly atmosphere. French onion soup was the best we ever had. Always wanted to stop in at the Minisink Hotel for a Beer and bite to eat and finally had the chance. Pretty extensive list of brews available so that did not disappoint. The food menu looked better than typical bar food but nothing on it for us vegan diners so it was beer, salad and tater tots! Now that we know we'll likely do it again but be a little more prepared. Service was a bit slow since the two women were required to multitask with waiting on tables and bartending. They were, however, very polite. The flat bread on our flat bread. Gyro was a little burnt and a little bit too doughy. We thoroughly enjoyed the cream of broccoli soup . Seating is very limited, but we were able to get a table right away. It was a very diverse clientele with the bar area, sharing the dining area, and their pool table shared the same area as well. Any attire goes here. read more

Not sure what all of the hype is about here. Stopped in after a morning of hiking and the place was actually pretty crowded. They have a good selection of beers and a decent sized me here. The service was soooo slow. We wanted to drink more but never got the chance. The food came out pretty quickly but was lackluster. The Turkey melt was dry and didn't have much flavor. The honey chicken sandwich was good but not great. Not taking any stars off for the slow service it's hard to find help nowadays but the food just wasn't living up to the hype on Yelp. read more

Great old school place. Jukebox plays 70's and 80's rock and great crowd of regulars. The burgers are big and juicy and they have a sizable canned and bottled craft beer menu. Only drawbacks are the oil for the fries tasted like it hadn't been changed since the place opened and the hamburger bun was a stale brioche bun that tasted like a styrofoam cooler. It used to be a fun off the road place to go to with no menus except on the walls, 1 pool table, a juke box, and usually 1 girl bartendi g and waitressing the 6-7 tables. My last review years ago was high praise even with the longer wait. Walked in this weekend wait, what? No pizza and handed a menu! Prices are higher (expected but not thinking quite that much). The husband took me on a leaf peeping adventure in the nearby Delaware Water Gap State Park and we wanted to find a fun local spot for a quick bite. A quick YELP search brought us to the Minisink Hotel. A cute bar with plenty of charm. A nice group of customers lined the small bar so we took a seat in the dinning room area. A nice waitress came over shortly after that and took our drink order. While the usual fare is on tap, the can and bottle selection is impressive and decently priced. We both had an Oatmeal Chocolate Stout from a local brewer. I had a Tuna melt which I enjoyed, the husband a Chicken parm sandwich, also good. A true anachronistic reminder of what a bar outside a city can be. The place doesn't feel like it's changed in decades giving it this homey charm. The menus are on the wall, beer is cheap and cold, the food is cheap and hot (and surprisingly tasty and diverse), the decor is simple yet overly bar-themed, and no one is in a rush. The food isn't my favorite but for the portions, the prices, and the options, it's hard to beat. Seriously, any place that can make a gyro flatbread, French onion soup, an orange chicken salad, and chicken parmigiana, and do them all at least pretty solid is impressive. The gyro flatbread was probably my favorite, while the chicken parm was just alright, the breading fell apart and the green peppers were confusing. But at $10 a meal and with great service, it's hard to complain at all. read more

My family is from CT and we have been coming to PA almost every single year since I was 3 years old. Mini Sink Hotel was a hidden gem that we found a few years back and we were quite happy with it. In fact, back then it would have got a 5 star. Unfortunately, when we had it the other night, we have noticed that it has gone down hill. I have the chicken tenders with the fries. I did not like the fries. Nor did I much care for the honey mustard but I LOVED the ranch. We got 3 orders of the boneless wings and 2 orders came undercooked. The French dips were okay but the meat needed seasoning. My step daughters burger was dry, and we were pretty sure the Au jus sauce was the same as the crock of onion soup without the cheese lol. My mom had no complaints for the crab cake dinner though. My fiance asked for a commando pizza without olives and they piled olives on. The place is always pretty busy. Its a great bar spot with drinks with friends. I have bo complaints about the people that work there. They are extremely helpful, and friendly, and had no issues giving us new food. They are looking for a new line cook so they could be having some issues because of that. We may be back at the end of the year, and if I decide to try them again, i will update my review.
